You are a loving dad....it seems....all your thread topics are overflooded with your kids....ha ha. Really nice.
My girl has to leave home sharp 7.55 and now, it's rainy season....so you know, how much difficult we are facing........we also wake up around 6.30 or 6.45. What to do.....we want our kid to sleep a little more...but max.7.15-20.
Yet, she never hesitate to bath early morning though she rarely take food. Actually she plays hide and seek with us in the early morning, laughing and make us run after her whole house....she is in a playing mood. For sometime, we will keep quiet. Then it start with shouting, if she don't obey us........beating is only very rare

Let the kid have his say. But next day, when kid asks for any thing say- No. Even for breakfast, say no. The kid will realize that many things are necessary and the whim of 'no' is useless. Going to school is as necessary as breakfast.

No need to beat. Just let them experience. I just gave a suggestion that would enable the child to know that saying 'no' to certain things is no good.

I am lucky- one of my kid never said no and another one went to school for the first time yesterday and the school management threw him out of the school for rowdy behavior. He is 14 though (months)  Incidentally the school belongs to his father run by his granny.

I know, this is not easy to go against their will but you have to follow the rules and teach them to behave well. No is not allowed.

Yes Sandhya i am very close to my kids reason being i have to do certain ativities for them which is supposed to be done by their mother  but as you know my wife gets tired by tolerating them for whole day so i have to do these. I remember when they were born i used to sleep with my son as my daughter used to sleep with her mother and this has become a habit for my son as he never sleeps till i don't lye on bed nearby him. :)
This is a similar story for all kids i have to wake them up at 5:45 Am and they make me run to whole house while preparing them for school but they are very sincere they never say NO for school. :)

If they never say NO, then there is no problem whatsoever. Children like to makes some problems whatever you do but you have to be mentally prepared for them.
