Kalam or Pranab Mukherjee?

Now it looks like a contest between the two. One is a famous scientist with signal contribution to making India a nuclear power, a selfless,lovable and respectable person with unique ability to interact with one and all with his great vision of future India. the author of "Igniting minds". Another a hard-boiled,shrewd politician who never faced direct election till 70,a great conscience-keeper of Nehru-Gandhi family,playing not so a respectable role during emergency as minister of state -finance, compromised his position in extending loans to Maruti - a Sanjay Gandhi failed venture when his senior and respectable late C.Subhramaniam refused to entertain any such favor,thus was cut to size by late Sanjay Gandhi! Now decide on your vote!

    My vote is for Kalam jee. Now i feel, we should vote for our President, the same way we select an MP or MLA but politics should never play a role here!!!

    In That case I would give it to Pronob because we need some one who can treat them on level ground. Kalam is too simple for international politics.

    What has common man got to do with president in this country? This is about other matters especially foreign trips etc. What is a president's job in this country anyway?
