Yes.. It is the fast way to recognize people. I mean no need to see even username.. That's why I am using these pic on every site.
It is good to have same username and profile picture on all sites. It helps friends to recognize easily. I too use same userid if they didn't available i need to change it:(

Sandhya I kept this one because I love greenary In cities we cannot see greenary so I kept this one as my profile picture even this is my desktop picture also.
