Only unsuccessful love stories remain immortal. Is it true?

As valentine month is on its half way, let me ask your opinion. Do share your views.
One of my friends use to say, "It is good to be loved at least once before marriage. But never marry that person. If love life settles in marriage, it will mark 'the end ' to the fantasy world of love. If you want to keep your love live in heart, never marry that person. It will stay with you whole through the life"

In other words, he says, "Only unsuccessful love stories will become immortal". What is your opinion? Is he right? Does love marriages mark the end of love life?

It is said that love story ends in marriage.Do you all think so?


No i feel its good when someone get married to his/her beloved.That's what every one pray. :)


What is good in life and what is a good story differ. Bad in life may make a good story whereas the good in life may be no story at all. Just imagine your neighbor living happily and peacefully. This is neither news nor story. But if they quarrel like cats and dogs, all are interested. If divorced, this makes a good story.

True, people seem to love negative aspects of life more than the positive ones. They find them interesting, maybe comparatively.

it might be true that only unsuccessful love stories remain immortal.it remains longlasting only in news or else where but what about the love.does it also remains longlasting or fade by time?

and for making his/her love story immortal should he/she should not get married and remain unhappy for life?i dont think so because one will love to be happy with his/her beloved for life rather than to be in news for his/her incomplete love story.

Real love and successful marriage is preferable. Immortal love story is not required. Nobody will burn his house to get importance in media.

Those unsuccessful love stories remains in hearts though as a tear/dew drop than the successful ones......
My friend says so..that's why I stay\rted this thread
