I agree with Deepak that because our country is obsessed with cricket other games don't get the due respect. After winning world cup if this girls are facing this situation,what more should we say now. I remember the day when India won in cricket world cup ,the scenario was totally different,everybody in every corner of India was enjoying it.

what more...yesterday i saw in television that football players of an i league club were cleaning the cricket stadium to buy new boots to play. What an aberration!!!!!!!

Our indian government is concentrating on indian cricket only which are paying more funds.

I am really getting short of words to describe it. I mean Indian government speaks about encouraging sports and sportmen or sports women in school and college levels but in reality they do like this. It is a matter of shame for the government of a country where winners are treated like this. It is worthwhile to mention here that countries like China are now excelling in sports chiefly because of the encouragement given by their government to the sports personalities...!
