I would say that Rahul Gandhi has many a times discorded his security. He is presently shining as a star of Congress Party. Many people are after him. He is giving good competition to his rivalries.
This may or may not be political reason. I have seen a video in which a terrorist was caught who was planning to kidnap Rahul Gandhi. He actually intended to exchange Mr. Gandhi for some of his terrorist fellows who are in jail.
