Its tough at times, to come out of the past. But time has the answer for everything. Till that one must be patient.

Without patience, how can you expect happiness? Happiness has to be earned with hard work.

Yes time is the best healer. You can never forget your past. It will always leave a mark in our lives but we have to deal with it. Instead we should try to focus on the good things and try to remember the good memories.

Past should not devour your present. If there is no present, where's is the future?

Time heals everything...but patience is the key. Also, our past should act as a learning for us...so that the present is much better than our past.

Decide to be happy and persevere. This attitude works wonders.one can live happily ever after .
children are happiest. Why? They forget soon. Adults have very long memory. So more unhappy.

I agree with you. The very nature of forgetting indicates there is no scope for brooding. This is what elders lack. They brood and allow the present to be devoured by the past.

If only adults could forget and forgive..most of us would become much happier. But even though we try to forget..situations around us make it difficult for us to forget and move on.

For me best formulae of happiness stay in present, think of now and shred past and do not formulate action for future.

Past should become history..this formula is an important ingredient for happiness. A little bit of future planning helps but not far fetched plans, which if unfulfilled makes one unhappy. So it is indeed correct to stay and enjoy the here and now.

Feet on the ground, head in the sky and vision forward are the necessary requirements for a happy life.

Yes, success should never get on your head..feet should be on the ground ..as they say a tree with bears fruits bends down...modesty with success is also an important ingredient for happiness.
