2, She does not live in India now
3, She lives in Dubai , so she becomes an NRI
So, how can she become a brand ambassador, if so all NRIs living in other parts of the world have the right to be recognised as brand ambassadors....

I agree that her stay in Dubai as NRI on a more or less permanent basis goes against her appointment as brand ambassador. However as she plays Tennis on behalf of India only, and her original residence as well as of her parental family is in Talangana, there should be no objection to her appointmet as brand ambassador. In fact, central leadership of BJP and Congress have also adoptd a line different from local leaders and have praised sania Mirza as pride of India. Thus controversy ends.

If she had gone to Pakistan and played Tenis for Pakistan, she would not be eligible for brand ambassadorship of Telangana. However, she is playing only for India and holds Indian passport. she is eligible for all honor that an Indian sportsperson of her stature deserves.

Of course one can interpret it the way they want esp when it is a question of self sacrificing Sonia madame , who is here to reap all the benefits that our nation has to offer her ! Interesting to see all of us contributors also talking like politicians. It is becoming clear that India is getting increasingly polarised. A new style is emerging. At local level politicians will make biased and hurtful statements purposely . it will create the desired furore. Then the Central leaders will shed crocodile tears. Increasing number of Indians take advantage of subsidised education in India and become doctors and engineers etc. They then run away to foreign countries and serve those countries and settle there. Are they serving India better or someone who brings joy and laurels to the country.

Elections are 5 years away. But the Assembly of Telangana needs the support of Muslims to counter congress which is also after KCR. Poor Congress thought because it gave Telangana, it can sweep the elections. But the cookie crumbled. Why KCR hates Telugu people is a simple question, the answer of which every body knowa. He was a turn coat who changed his parties from Congress to TDP and finally formed his own party not to achieve Telangana. It's to fill his cabinet with His own family members.

The most amusing thing here is Chandrashekar r'aos flipflop regrading Telengana...He had earlier said that true Telangana citizens are those who have forefathers living in the region since 1956 and in Sania's case this is not so, since her father migrated in the eighties from Maharashtra...He has himself started the controversy giving material to BJP with his double forked tongue ! Now his party spokespersson points fingers at Amitabh and others just to justify their stand !

Chandrasekhar Rao is a hypocrite, liar and above all he's a turncoat, who will not hesitate to sell his mother for just a dime. He blackmailed Telugu cinema producers and earned money in crores. Even Telangana people are in great number who hate him.

Few days back in a set back to KCR, central govt. passed in cabinet that Hyderabad for both states, and the way people been harassed in the name of telengana identity there, stops. then now this is latest bouncer from KCR, KCR party is also taking support of Oaisi, the hyderabad MP, so his actions are showing inclination to capture Cong vote, perhaps a feeling of insecurity of rising BJP and TDP there.

It's a feeling of insecurity and jealousy on the part of KCR. Above all inferiority complex. He doesn't know that he's digging his own grave.
Even if there is no development in Telangana , there should not be any development in AP. that's his motto and dream
