No doubt, cell phone is a big distractor. Using phone while driving is disastrous.

Yes so true. I have seen so many people using their cellphones and driving motorbikes and bicycles and more than that without a helmet.

People who use cell phones are endangering their lives as well as others on the road. A strict and severe punishment should be there.

Another habit which irritates me is people crossing roads hooked on to their cellphones. They can't even hear the bus horns. Even people crossing railway tracks. A person can just wait for a few seconds, finish the conversation and then cross the road. Such is the addiction of cellphone.

A cell phone mainly intended to communicate is being abused beyond unimaginable crazy proportions. A strict law to arrest this menace is the need of the hour.

Everyday I see a lot of people using their mobile phones while driving. All are highly educated.

It's an infectious disease. A craze. It has got nothing to do with education. What all needed is sense of responsibility .

My concern is how highly educated persons behave like this.

As I have said, it's a question of having respect and care towards others lives. And wisdom to honor the rules. No relation with one's education.

Surely we should avoid talking on phone to someone or ourself during driving. Too risky.
