If the Naxalites get support of local tribal, they are virtual rulers. Then nobody can participate in elections. People may participate in election only if the state government/ central govt. successfully made Naxalites/ Maoist ineffective.

We have had a small incident with the naxalites yesterday in our district where a group of naxalites came knocking on the doors of a social worker and an official named Bhat, at night time .When he refused to open the door telling them that they could speak during day time, they poured petrol over his car and a motor byke which was kept outside in the compound and left.the car was fully burnt...Bha is a good worker and honest trying to rehabilitate the tribals which was not liked by the naxalites ..

Naxalites will never be happy if someone tries to rehabilitate the tribals. Because Naxalites don't want to lose the the grip on the tribals . The tribals are their strength and support.

Thats true, we have been having some problems with them of late.The commando forces are no doubt doing a great job , but the problem is with some of the misguided locals who support them.
