An alarm is made on increase in liqueur consumption in Delhi. But is this alarm justified? People obviously consume more liqueur in winter and festive season of Christmas and New year. Nothing surprising.

But it is necessary to check drunkenness that causes road accidents and instigates to commit rape, molestation etc.

There is liquor mafia in Uttar Pradesh also. As long as there is prohibition and licencing system, scam continues. Production and sale of liqueur should be decontrolled. Scam will end.

Even liquor fans drink by diluting with water and soe times with soda. Thus if you consume liquor, you take water also.

Rather we may say that people prefer liquor to milk.
