Gulshan Kumar Ajmani said thank you to Kalyani Nandurkar for his/her reply to the topic very unusual platter- bare bodies .
This is probably a mark of how low the human depravity and decadence has fallen to! People visiting the bar may seek enjoyment and fun from it but it really shows the sickness of the human mind.

It is honestly mind boggling to think that these ladies , who are obviously "educated" and probably coming from upper middle class backgrounds are either doing it for the heck of it because they are looking for new thrills in life or plain dumb stupid ! It could be either !! More a case of dumb and dumber and they are so bored with all the money and nothing to do, that they probably keep looking for cheap stunts like this.

It is still happening here and I dont see any great regard for common mans life. The rich and famous get away with murder and anything for that matter !

It is true, even if one lacks space but is willing to take a few extra efforts, we can easily grow plants and herbs. I too live in a third floor apartment but I have mint, basil, lemon grass, sweet marjoram growing in containers along with other plants such as a rose, two varieties of hibiscus, begonia, etc. All we need a few minutes every day to tend to the plants.

Greed, ambition and misplaced notions of honour and prestige may drive a person to commit extremely sordid deeds. While it is quite difficult for us to accept that a mother kills her child but I think this particular case is quite unusual and different in the fact that Mukherjee herself was subjected to quite sexual harassment at a young age and her children were brought up by her parents. So she may quite probably never have had any maternal instincts but only hatred for them as they were a result of her own agonising experience. And yet even then, the question still remains as to what could have driven her to kill another human being in such a horrible manner???

Such things happen in all religions - I know of several organisations in Christianity which is nothing but a fund collecting drama, they come and ask for help and bless you and thats it ! I once gave Rs 1000 to two nuns who were part of an organisation to start a old age and destitute home and I was told that everybody would be helped with the donation collected. They also started an ashram in an old property donated by a rich Christian.Later when I wanted to help an old poor woman, took her there and they said it was only for Christians ., when I showed the the recipt for the money I had given they said yes we got money from all generous souls !!!!

And why should anyone think that Atheists have no faith? They certainly have the faith that God does not exist but the doubt about their own faith makes them think, "Maybe the God exists and that is one reason they keep negating the existence of God as it reassures them from inside although not fully.

Somewhere inside the followers there is an element of doubt or insecurity which they want to be rectified but in the process they unwittingly lend themselves to be exploited by the self styled God persons. The followers range from poor to extreme rich. Dolly Bindra was an ardent follower and I remember seeing her supporting Radhey Maa on a channel earlier on. Usually the followers get trapped and find it difficult to come out.   I knew none of these two women, Dolly and Radheyma before this case came into limelight but I did a thorough checking of both these women and found out that both these women did what they did for the sake of money and publicity. They got what they wanted to, the media got what it wanted the TRP and we got what we never wanted to - the bad taste and the Hindu religion being targeted for none of its fault.  Craving for publicity ? Yes it is true that these incidents left bad taste in the public.

I agree. I  being a rationalist I attended many of the AP Rationalist meets. Additionally did you ever see me  making derogatory statements ?

rambabu wrote: As I said earlier all Rationalists do not  indulge in inflammatory or derogatory speeches. They are supposed to put forward their opinions only. That's all nothing more.   You can speak for yourself and may be a few people you know of but you cannot speak for everybody.....What is true in your town may not be true in other places so there is no point in taking the high ground !
