Believers and atheists are part of the same society. We all solve our day to day issue in same way- whatever be religious belief.  Healthy discussion is okay. But all should refrain from personal attack or insult. Expression of throughts and insulting differ. I may also add that atheism is not alien to Hindu religion. There are some philosophies including 'Sankhya' which are atheist.  Vir Savarkar called himself 'Hindu atheist'.

Gulshan Kumar Ajmani said thank you to rambabu for his/her reply to the topic `Cane-happy' teacher breaks the backs of students .
Gulshan Kumar Ajmani wrote: Breaking cane on a student's back is too much.  Just six strokes or less would suffiuce for one student.  A single cane could be used for entire class. Moreover, every student has different grasping power. This cannot be increased by caning. Caning needs be resorted for indiscipline and not for slow learning.   This knowledge that canning is not the solution for boosting the child's intelligence, is known to you. And known to me. But the teacher doesn't know. That is a pity.

This is individualistic approach. In fact. economy grows only when some are ambitious to earn more. As regards charity, it is better to create circumstances for full employment so that nobody needs charity.  All that is requiored is that everybody should abide by law and earn through lawful means, pay taxes honestly and spend wisely.  The capital expenditure on acquiring machines and plants, building roads and bridges is financed by savings that emerge only when you earn more than what you need. Again we earn not just for our day to day expenses but also future generations. Future generation does not mean just own children but the entire furture generation.  The development of infrastructure like roads and railway, electricty generation etc is for future generations mainly in view of long gestation period. Contentment with just as much as suffices for one's short life may be okay from individualistic viewpoint but it is disastrous from social angle.

I said, that i'm on the look out for the link. I have a Book on Ayurveda and yoga. It says eating small meals often keeps your weight constantly. This also enhances your immune system.  Sooner I get the link, i'll give you the link. I got the link. Smaller meals at a regular interval of 4 to 5 hours will keep your metabolism high and prevent your body from converting the food you intake into fat. http://www.allayurveda.com/weightloss.asp

Reading the title I thought it was Pranab Mukherji since he is the president now.. Self confidence combined with humility makes all the difference since you are also sensitive to others needs..

I welcome Maneka Gandhi's suggestion which makes sense. Smiriti Irani also should implement effectively.

Doing anything for name and fame is counterproductive and shows that you are doing it just for the name you earn.Bill Gates is a different story and not many can be like him or have mindset like his.. If you have more than enough to give away, you do it to benefit someone who is really in need , without expecting name and fame and do it quietly ..
