Whenever a student is getting scolded for his fault then they are not ready to accept their fault rather start passing humiliating comments . True, this is a behavioral pattern I feel, because children are not taught to accept their mistakes right from childhood. I also feel that instead of scolding and using abusive language which many teachers do these days , speaking to them at their level and making them understand would be far more effective..Understanding them helps them understand us and also respond in a more positive manner !

Students of this age think misbehaving with the teachers, Booing them consider as an act of heroism. In one way they are influenced by cheap movies. Of course Bad parenting is also a reason. You said about your kid that he never dares to misbehave with the teachers. Why  ? It is due to wise parents like you  who teach good behaviour in the premises of your home itself.

Yes . I travel by Bus to go to a group of villages adopted by my employer in Vizag. There i'm supposed to teach art to the village slum dwellers. As I volunteered to take up the classes my employer will not pay my Bus fares. That's why I know the pains of Toll Taxes.

Restrictions on dress imposed in the Indian clubs is ridiculous. If these clubs dishonor  Indian culture and the traditional dresses they are going to lose members over a period. Even noted Indian painter MF Hussain was subjected to this humiliation. After this shameful incident the club removed all the dress restrictions.

I think a frequent traveler knows how it feels like when he has to travel on a long rout and stops every 10-40 kilometers to pay a hefty sum and wait in long queues on both ways for the same roads which he has been using for long time without paying anything or very little... That is toll tax for you and not to talk about the surcharges added in fuel's cost in the name of development of roads. I have not mentioned the road tax because that was always there.

Toll Tax is something that a road user cannot escape from. If the extension of roads and building bridges is undertaken by private contractors you can expect quality. The roads long last. But the expenditure involved is also more. And all this is collected from the Road user in the name of Toll Tax,

Today's generation is much more attracted towards western culture, also parents are not taking care of their kids. In olden days people usually lived in joint families, but now people like to live separately. In joint families, grandparents used to teach the kids about the behavior and to respect elders. Now days it is not happening and kids in school even use some funny nickname for their teacher. Such as if a teacher is having fewer hairs on his head then students start calling him "takla" to make fun of him.

Storaged food is always considered as hazardous to health. They add preservatives for adding shelf life ridden with chemicals. Of course there is healthy food available in the street food and fruits. In my place these push card peddlers bring to the door of my flat. They cut the fruits in your presence. I take fruits like papaya  and Guava from these peddlers.Similarly Idli and sambar.

Our government should strictly observe this. Most of the time this is what happens..The government takes over fro the private companies after the period is over and the company has been compensated in full. On bangalore - Mangalore Highway we had one toll booth owned by a private company in the nineties,  somewhere in between because a bridge was constructed and four-laning was done for about 3 kms in collaboration with National Highway authorities . Now this toll continues and there are 4 more added in this 350 km stretch and to enter Bangalore you have to go through 3 tolls .So in effect to get to Bangalore you have to cross 8 tolls ...

Almost all private clubs have dress codes but they also include Indian dresses like Kurta Pyjama for men but some may not do so...However, it is time they changed this rule to suit the Indian lifestyle since the clubs are functioning here and should cater to the popular taste and lifestyle rather than hold on to old traditions which was anyway done forcibly !

RamBabu not only food but every thing which is in our home give us satisfication. Food of five star is much delicious but it never satisfied us like khichdi which is cooked at our home. I have affection with articles which in my house, weather these are 50 years old. These make me sense that it is my house.    There is no doubt that home cooked food is the best there is because it is clean and free of any added preservatives.I would in fact call packaged food as junk food because these contain fat and large amounts of preservatives whereas freshly prepared street food is good , in some cases may not be clean but hot food is healthier than ones that have been stored for hours together like cut fruit and vegetables..

Of course, alternative measures are to be devised by the Government to reduce the burden on the Road users.

During British rules, outside many clubs it was written that dogs and Indians are not allowed here. After so many years of Independence these rules are followed in many clubs in India. It is written outside these clubs that people wearing Indian dress not allowed. http://www.rediff.com/news/report/up-guv-chides-elite-lucknow-club-for-denying-entry-to-kurta-clad-cleric/20150914.htm

I agree, it takes both sides...This is not to degrade teachers in general since I am one too...But in my own school the sports teacher is called Hitler by the students because he behaves like one and another teacher ( I hope he is not around here ) asks boys to go to the nearest toddy shop to bring him a packet of local liquor during the break, so they call him Mugal, which in Thulu means overcast, normally this term is used for someone who is intoxicated ! Now, how can you expect students to respect such teachers unless they have some other sterling quality that overshadows these obvious traits that dont go well ..

Exactly. There is no use crying over loss of the traditional Values in Education. In a civic reception held to honor for his achievement in the field of Space research Late APJ Kalam said. This honor belongs to him" pointing out a person who was sitting in the gathering clad in a humble Dhoti and Kurta. He was none other than Dr. Kalam's Teacher. That was the honor bestowed on old traditional values existed in the education system.
