I would agree with all those tasks you have done and listed ...I too feel that the only thing that helps is practice and gaining knowledge..Even conversing with people, even here on forums I have learnt so much. A word or a phrase is enough to make us explore further ..

Dress code also ensures a certain decorum. When they insist on formal wear it also means no chappals only shoes. It could also mean they want maintain a certain standard.
Most club memberships come with a price tag, if we are willing to pay the price then we should be willing to fall in line with their rules too.

The rapidly expanding education sector often compromises on the quality of recruitment standards to fill their vacancies to keep the classes running. Such teachers complain of lack of respect by students when they are deficient themselves.

That's true Vijay. By taking the advice of his clients by a lawyer may lead to innocents being punished.

I do the same since I have been surprised many times by students and I do admire them for their profound knowledge inspite of most of them coming from poorer village homes ,and we have a discussion after school hours where I also get to learn something about them and this rapport makes it easy to establish trust and mutual respect.

@Sandhya your point is that if it is known that a person is a hard criminal a lawyer should not protect him. But the legal system gives him also a chance to prove himself innocent and for this he needs a lawyer. This is a just system because if lawyers were to take your advice then so many innocent oersons would be portrayed as hard criminals and punished wrongly.

I teach at the local University and a couple of private institutions. My observation is that students surely respect a teacher who has knowledge but has latest knowledge as Usha has said students do challenge teachers on knowledge front. At times when I am not able to satisfy a student's querry to his satisfaction I assure him I will do soin the next class. When I do so I have observed it creates a favorable impression and class behaviour also improves. Today's students are not so teacher dependent for knowledge as was te case say 10-15 years ago. Teachers have to now earn respect rather than rely on an oudated traditional manner.

Undoubtedly, there are parents who believe in spying and due to it they are spoiling their relationship with their children. That is why I say that the parents and guardians must learn to mind their behaviour and attitude.
@Manoj Kumar Lamba
I am extremely sorry to say that I fail to agree with your opinion. I respect joint family system very much because I am a product of a joint family but that does not mean the nuclear families lack moral values and etiquette. There are lots of examples where grandparents spoiled the children for either pampering too much or abusing for no rhyme or reason. I don't think that the present day parents are not taking care of their child is a right viewpoint. Yes, there are some who may have failed due to various reasons then similarly there were parents who to failed miserably, present day grandparents, then, how can we expect them to impart good lessons while being in a joint family?
