M. F. Hussain's aim was not just to paint., but to explore a "New Idiom" for Indian Art. It is believed that M.F. Hussain formed Progressive Artists Group. On the contrary, The group was existing already. On the invitation of Francis Neton Souzah of Progressive Artist group, Hussain Joined the group. Zameen and Man is one of his paintings done in this period. He was influenced by ancient Madhura sculptures and Miniature paintings. This was a turning point for Hussain. He has assimilated and learned from both Western and Indian Art. A man with humble beginnings rising to Stardom is an achievement of a greater dimension.
He certainly deserves all the honors bestowed on him.

Excellent tips to boost one's retentivity.
I use them . The moment I learn something new, I use it. Especially on my wife. When she asks the meaning of a new word, I explain it to her. This practice helps a lot in retaining the word or anything in your brain forever.

Had the young woman slapped the Cop for a just cause in a normal condition, I would have appreciated the young Dame of Dehradun. But not in an inebriated condition with an intention to create Ruckus.
Additionally, I would like to add drunkenness is not restricted to only men, Some women drink in either in the confines of their home or in clubs. It's not an objectionable act.

Greeting to all boddunan friends on Lord Ganesha birthday. It is custom that on Ganesh chturthi idol of Ganesha flow in the water. Most of idol made of plaster of paris and synthetic color also used. Plaster of paris take time to disolve in water. Now here peoples are requested to use sand idol of Ganesha for worship of visrjan. It is nice compaign. We all must be follow it.

I agree on one point, the advantage of Super computer is to predict one's time of death.This helps in going for a better Medical treatment . Who knows, through a better medical treatment, may prolong the lifeline of the patient.

Astrology is bogus. It has very cleverly aligned itself with the pre- determined orbitals of the planets and linked it to attributes and happenings that will take place tp persons born in a particular time during a year. This gives it a sense of certainty and ease of predictability which is cleverly exploited by the astrologists. The solutions offered by them to ward off or neutralise the effect of planets positioned millions of miles away are simply laughable. Yes it survives because people are afraid, gullible and want easy way out. Gulshanji has asked a pertinent question.

There is no comparison between Salman Rushdie and Rehman. There is no fatwas to kill him. Only error has been pointed out and reqyuired to read kalma again and perform marriage ceremony again.

Obviously it is phycical condition or health that determines remaining life of a person. But anyone can also chabge his life style and prolong his life. There is also a lufe expectancy on basis of staistics. The lige expectancy helps arriving at actuarial calculation by Insurance companies.

They have issued a Fatwah against him and the other crew who have worked in the film...It is to be recalled that in the nineties in a similar incident Salman Rushdie was issued a Fatwah for writing about Mohammad the prophet in his book Satanic Verses.He had to remain imprisoned in his house in England for years together since a kill order with a ten million pound bounty was sent out ...
