Got is only animal who can digest Acacia berri thorns. When got grazers in open filed they eat many type of herbs which can not eat. Above are the reasons that got's milk has medicinal properties.

Perhaps the rule makers and policy makers are giving  a hint , " c'mon, don't  take these rules seriously. If You take them seriously, you will be the sufferer." This is enough for a habitual rule breaker.

Order of Khapp Panchyat in India is also fatwa.   Of course the word may be used by one community but the meaning and the tone is the same in all fundamentalist groups ..

Honestly I found the whole video amusing . The girl was clearly not in her senses and I am sure after the video went viral she must be feeling quite embarrassed at her misadventure ,,

I wish the government(s) had the guts to take a firm stand when such issues crop up instead of dillydallying and letting the matter take its own course. If for once they segregated their vote bank politics and looked at the issue purely based on humanitarian grounds and the effect it has on the society as a whole ,a lot can be achieved besides sending a warning signal to all fundamentalist groups ..

We see a lot of intolerance in the society not just in India , it has become a global phenomenon which has been growing more violent by the day. Many of the artistes and writers fail to understand the sensitive feelings of people who are extremely touchy about religion and their god. They take the term artistic freedom too far failing to realise that there is no total freedom when you live in a multi cultured society ,you need to respect the beliefs of other people . MF hussain should have realised this fact before painting Nude Hindu Goddesses because he was part of a community which was/is extremely intolerant when it came to religious issues. Hussain became victim of a hate campaign which I personally think was started as a measure to hit back after the Salman Rushdie episode. Fundamentalism has no logic and we see it happening even now with another great artiste A.R Rehman being hounded by the same ‘ Green ‘ brigade. The charged Hindu groups , who were extremely hurt by some of Hussain’s paintings attacked him verbally and later he had to flee the country after his house in Bangalore was attacked by miscreants. M F Hussain spent his last years in the house built in Bangalore which has now been converted into a heritage restaurant.  continue..

I am not able to understand what is meant by stating that if the accused pleads guilty even it may not come up for trial. It is a dangerous statement. Catch anyone and make him accept guilt and then no trial. Indian justice does not work this way. Admission of guilt to police is not admissible in court. Prosecution have to prove it. You and Shampa are mixing up your desire that lawyers should not defend obvious criminals because of moral issue. Bur justice is blind and sentence can be delivered after evidence is provided and guilt proved. Serampore person will also go on trial.

M F Hussain was an Indian and richly deserved the honors that were bestowed on him. His only error of judgement was that he thought he was painting in an India where the  minds of Indians were liberated. So some of his paintings of Hindu goddesses were not seen  thru a painter's eyes but thru communal spectacles. A weak government and lack of courage on part of so called liberals saw him being hounded out of India to Dubai where he breathed his last. That did not diminish the quality of his phenomenal output. He liked to paint horses just as the great cartoonist Laxman liked to draw crows.  In the community of painters he holds a very high reputation and richly deserves to be honored and remembered.

@Vijay I have already hinted at the possible alternative mechanisms. I do not know of a single case of such cases going unchallenged. The judge intervenes in an appropriate manner by choosing the right mechanism. The case I have cited is a watertight one and if the accused pleads guilty even it may not come up for trial.

Why are the fundamentalists of all colors green or saffron arrested and  prosecuted by the governments esp BJP because Congress is supposed to be pseudo secular. Both Congress and BJP lack guts and are happy that such polarisation is taking place. The country seems to be interested in the past and seems to be going into the past. Fatwas are not binding and should not be taken seriously just as advice of saffron brigade on population increase etc should not be taken seriously.

In the case cited by@Chinmoy the Serampore lawyers have refused to appear for the SBI manager. Fine. So the prosecution will present its case and their charges will go unchallenged whether right or wrong. Can the judge blindly believe the prosecution in absence of a defence lawyer. The judge needs to be convinced that evidence is foolproof and this can happen only when both side lawyers are present. By Shampa's logic every time a person is charged with a charge no lawyer should come forward to defend him. Then why have lawyers at all?

Since many years dengue outbreak regularly takes place every year. Why advance actions are not taken by administration and health ministry officials is a baffling mystery. It is a simple managerial activity to be prepared for repeating eventualities and plan. Human lfe in India is dirt cheap because unlike goat's milk they are available in over supply and thus value is almost zero. IIT educated Kejriweal has brought down the name of IIT's by his faiure to take pre emptive action. Only blame game is going on. @Rambabu what is the use of ordering digging of a well when fire has broken out.
