No movie is worth remembering for a couple of days. This is all about going crazy beyond limits and desperate attempts to hog the limelight resorting to cheap and vulgar ways.

Hussain had his own logic behind every painting but that does not have respectability among many people. People's sentiment cannot be ignored but the fact that his art has a touch of artistic brilliance cannot be ignored either. The government honoured him for his painting ability and I think it should not be challenged.

Every state have different climate, sand structure, habit of peoples and some more. Gujarati known for their business skill for ancient time. Peoples all Punjab are known for their agriculture skill. So Model of Gujarat is not good for Punjab. Agriculture in India is depends of mansoon. It is game of uncertainty. Few state like Punjab and Haryana, which have good network of canals is doing good in this field. Here in Rajasthan farmers are  committing suicide because of failure of mansoon in last two months.  Well aid Anil. Each state has unique features of its own, which works and helps in it's Development  Gujarat Model is not the only Pill for its progress. Yes we cann't solve all problem with one solution. Round peg is round hole square peg in square hole. It is golden rule.

Exactly.  I belong to Tamil Nadu, and it is  a fact.  The craze with which people in Tamil Nadu approach movies and the cinema stars and get exited is a v ery disturbing fact.

So, in effect one can achieve little even if one is bestowed with intelligence or is it that ones intelligent levels goes up or gets enhanced with knowledge which is got through books and education. I would think that experience and wisdom has a lot to do with common sense which is also instinctive ..

I guess migration is there all over India, people want to migrate abroad for various reasons - money, better life ,adventure and also wanting change in their lifestyle. Gujarat is considered to be the most Industrial friendly state and that coupled with the Agricultural sector which has been consistently performing well is what probably makes it a model state ,

Well said. Information if not put into practice, is an exercise in futility.

A pertinent point indeed. Gujaratis are not migrating to other countries  alone. Gujaratis are found all over the  country too. For example, in AP, my state all the leading Business men are Gujaratis.

Information becomes knowledge when it is put to use and intelligence is the ability to learn and become capable of manipulating knowledge as required. Reading and observing are tools to acquire knowledge. The more one has the more learning takes place and more equpped he is to use it or intelligence goes up. Common sense is however not so common.

My submission is that the expectation of the people are raised very high on a model that does not exist the way a model is supposed to be existing. Like hundreds of Indian  CM's before the Gujarat CM also took his state forward and because it was already a progressive state it has maintained its ranking. It is like the IIT's take only the cream of students and then pat themselves that no one fails in their institutes. I am not against the political exploitation of the progress but where is the model. Why social parameters are poorer than other states. Why are Gujaratis migrating to other countries at the drop of the hat and not staying back to enjoy a progressive state. If themodel is definable then it can be applied elsewhere. I am still searching for the definition.

Gulshan Kumar Ajmani wrote: There can be no uniform model for all states. The states like Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Haryana give soldiers to the nation and thus help in defendingour borders. Some states are rich in mineral wealth and so mining is their base of development. Each state has to develp on basis ofits own peculiarities.  Exactly sir.  For  example in AP there is a long coastline. This enables us to go for sea based industries like Fish exports to many countries. Likewise other states too utilize their natural resources. This facility may not be there in other states.
