The gotras are supposed to have been derived originated from particular rishis thousands of years ago. Since then they have lost theoir genetic similarity and today have no meaning. These days they are used more as a control measure by vested panchayats and scheming elders.

Bride and a Bridegroom belonging to the same Gotra are considered to be siblings and hence it is prohibited for them to marry even if they belong to distant families. The reason given was since they belonged to the same ancestor, it will be like a brother marrying a sister which is known to cause genetic disorders in their offspring.

In my region 4 Gora of the couple going to be married should not match. Two from mother side and two from father side of both couple.

Thanks for the information. To be honest, I liked your scolding. You must not say me sorry because I did not feel anything wrong in your approach. Rather I am sorry because you thought I felt bad which is not true. It was just a light hearted statement. Hope I have cleared the doubt!

If it is the irresponsibility of the maniacs , Media's action is equally irresponsible, if not more. Remember Media is responsible for the society. They should have thought twice before publishing the news. In totality both Media and Movie Maniacs are irresponsible.

Your scolding sounds good. I have gone through the Dashboard earlier but some questions remain unanswered. Maybe with time I will get to learn. As I mentioned in the previous post that how to vote and all are not very clear to me. Hope to learn soon!

Why should one blame movies for the irresponsible behaviour of the maniacs? This is what I tried to explain through the example of marriage. Yes, to a great extent media is responsible along with is the irrational thought of the people too.

Everything is there, as far your article and edit button is concerned from now you will edit your article when you must. I had told you in the beginning itself that once you submit your article you should not enter in there until it gets approved by admin himself and then if you edit it, it becomes a fresh submission and needs to reallocate the cash credit. The CC is sure but it depends when the admin has time to do so which is generally 7-10 days.

True. Media is a business which writes according to the diktats of the Movie makers for a price. And, there are Movie maniacs who are eager to take them.The solution as you suggested distancing away from such trash is the Best way.

MEA says India cautioned about unrest in Nepal. Additionally, the Government of Nepal should have taken the step for curbing violence in a phased manner, the situation would not have been so worse.

There is a news that Cow has been declared as national animal of Nepal and there will be ban on cow slaughter. The republic is new. Let us hope that they will gradually sort out differences between different ethnic communities.

At last, Nepal is secular republic. This is a very big advancement from Hindu monarchy state. Let us hope that the new secular republic of Nepal will prosper and flourish. However the new Republic is facing some issues mainly Madheshi regiuonal issues. Madhesi are mostly in Tarai reguion adjoining Bihar.
One cannot forget the Maoist influence in Nepal which was the cause of abolishing the monarchy and causing a lot of unrest there. There is also fear that Madhesi and Tharu groups may continue their struggle together now that they are forming an alliance to fight against the constitution.Looks like there will be a lot of unrest in the region, thats for sure !

@ chinmoy, That was a fine example you gave ...In fact I wondered why a person who is able to complete his PHd should be so hard pressed for a job? and by the way very few can come up to your level with regard to the fluency and complexity of the English language I am learning all the time !

Thank you very much for the detailed information. Every now and then, I am having some or the other question or something starts bothering me. Firstly, the edit button should not be there for the writers to use for editing article after approval. As by mistake I edited my approved article and it has become a long wait for its re-approval.
What is Top Voter of the Day? Today, I tried to give my vote on a topic related to education but the save button did not work. I could not make out how to vote and left the page.
There should be a page dealing with the articles which are under the consideration for approval. Then it helps the user to understand about the waiting period.
