Your observation is quite correct, there are more shades of blue and purple in wild flowers than in cultivated.
In fact today while walking through the fields near the school where they have many wild flowers growing in abundance , I noticed only shades of purple and blue , pink and some white... Of course wild flowers come in many more shades and colors and later in the year during summer there will be more yellows and oranges blooming !

Yeah Usha, it has become so silly and laughable now. I have given up seeing all the daily soaps, hardly ever see them, although some programmes on the Epic channel are really good. I liked watching Ekaant and Sanrachna, both are about old forts and palaces. while Ekaant deals with the history of the place, Sanrachna is about the unique architectures of those places. Good watch. Other than that, I am enjoying watching the new Hum aapke ghar me rehte hai on Sab TV, it is a bit different than others and enjoyable, clean fun.

That is laughable ! Its all so glitzy and artificial Kalyani, other than Ashoka I don;t see any serials and even that seems a bit overdone now ! Even festivals have become part of the show,during Ganesh fest one could see Salman dancing on any page you opened on the net ..

many middle aged and elderly ladies form an all female group and travel to religious places.
This was the ultimatum that a woman past her prime could , go to holi places with other women and people were happy when it happened. Even among the celebrated rich classes it was not normal to see ladies travelling alone, they either had an elder or a travelling companion with them,,.

There is also another trend that has started on many channels now. The daily soap operas are also now being treated as if they are events from real life and the constant new twists in the story are being broadcast under heading of Breaking News. One wonders how these actors and actresses adapt to the real life once shooting is over. Here in Maharashtra, all the Marathi soaps cast also come together and celebrate all the festivals along with families from their ree life, I only wonder how difficult or easy they find it to do the same with their real families! One daily soap even celebrated the reel-life marriage of leading couple in a real manner, a mega event where even common people were invited! It seems as if the virtual and the real worlds have finally started merging tgether, with what consequences, God only knows.

One may not remember every detail of an incident or an event that happened on a particular day and date. unless that incident or event has a specialty linked to the event. This happens during festivals. And makes one every detail of the incident. I remember such incidents that happened even in my childhood.

Risks are imminent considering the fact that river linking is beneficial in more than one ways. If the river linking programme takes inordinate time, cost of the project is bound to swell beyond imagination. Certainly there are certain factors bound to be taken in the early stages of the Project.

linking rivers is surely a good idea. But the issue is the large capital required and the time taken. The Narmada Dam is being built from years at a huge cost depriving other irrigation projects in the state. China is 8-9 times richer than India and is a dictatorial country with no opposition and a forcefully regimented population. Such projects in India with Indian penchant for delays and corruption shall be few and far in between.

It raids are advertised widely. However most of the time the names of firms raided are not publicised nor how much tax was avoided or how much penalty was levied. Many years back a customer of my company was raided by the IT . He settled the issue with the top brass of the Dept. and was proudly telling every one of the raid and the hush hush settlement. It raids are allegedly extortion raids.

Almost all the projects that are being worked out have many deterrents , more so when two or more states are involved .. China is linking north south rivers which is a huge project that will be completed in 2050 after nearly 100 years ...This is a very informative article that analyses the river linking projects both in China and India..
