Our politicians remember them only during elections or else they are left to their own fate.. Not only backwards and dalits are sufferers, all common person is sufferers. Police is only for politician and influential.    At times I feel sorry for the police force because theirs is not an easy job, they are being pulled in different directions and even if some of them want to perform their duty, they will not be allowed to do so by the law breakers , mainly politicians and their goons. I have several relatives who are in the police force who feel stifled because of the political interference .. True Usha, political interference is the worst of the many things that the police have to put up with. They do not have enough salaries that can help keep them up with the ever-growing inflation, not enough modern weapons and equipment to do their jobs with. The goons and sociopaths they deal with are always better equipped than the police. On top of that, they have to work miserably long hours and cannot give enough time to families, resulting in broken homes and disgruntled children. It is a fact that in Pune and Mumbai, maximum number of police children indulge in crimes at one point or another. So what the state must be in UP , we can only imagine. So t is no wonder that the police take out their frustrations on the innocent hapless in such grisly manner. No doubt police department have maximum interference of politicians. If police man refuse to fulfill the wished of politicians, they may faced many problems. Working enviornment  is also not healthy  in police departments. All states have shortage of police force. All police men are not bad. But they must be understand their duty. Where to go common person?

Interesting one and useful. It like accuepressure and recky therapy. Some alternative curing therapy is very effective. Most of the health problems are related with blood circulation.

There is no possibility for appeal or adjournment.

Shobha De has simply ridiculed the parents. In the post the writer has rightly mentioned that what if Arushi was our own, how can a popular figure spit venom like this. As if she was speaking about the anti-nationals and not parents of the dead teenage girl. I must say that she was pathetic and must be condemned by everyone.

The link between Politicians and the Police administration is well known. Politicians keep a grip over the Police by offering big Bribes to settle the scores with their political rivals. As far as protests are concerned it's an exercise in futility. Protesters are lathi charged  and cases will be framed. And these are under the instructions of the politicians.

There is a system called Arbitration in which an Arbitrator who is an independent person is  appointed to settle a dispute The arbitrator hears both the sides in the dispute expresses his opinion. In villages this system is there.. In village Panchayats is empowered to pass the judgement too. And the parties are bound to abide by the Arbitrator's verdict. But it's different in Urban areas. He hears both sides and expresses his opinion only. Basing on this the two parties will decide whether to go for court or not. In this case of Talvars Shobha De has expressed her opinion and described Talvars as devilish parents.. In my opinion this not proper. This is what I know..

It is the case of U.P and not Bihar. The main point is wherever such incidents take place then it should be protested in one voice irrespective of where you are coming from. Politicians and police both have 'p' in common and so whatever they do, both of them become the companions of each other.

A while ago I read an article and it forced me to think that why the popular personalities take so much liberty while they judge people. The link here does not mainly discuss about the movie Talvar but basically the writer has thrown light on the panellists' approach on a television debate show. Though I had followed the case, I forgot about such dirty remarks on the parents that were made by the panellist. Here, I share the link: http://www.huffingtonpost.in/urvashi-prasad/why-i-would-like-to-apolo_b_8238700.html

Gulshan Kumar Ajmani wrote: Some have given example of Raja Ram Mohan Roy, a great social revolutionary who fought successfully for abolition of Sati. But the theme is that a man is known by the company he keeps with.  This is beyond doubt.  A man moves with people of his type. Birds of a feather flock together. But again the theme is moving with persons you are working with.  Moving in social relation and friends differs from moving with persons you  work with.  You will definitely choose friends of your own liking and you will be known by the company you keep. But when it comes to work, you have to work with people of diverse type. It is a merit to adjust with persons of different type as I have said elsewhere in this thread.  You cannot always choose colleagues, boss and subordinates.  You have to work with those who have been appointed to work with you. Of course sir, one cannot choose the personnel with whom you are going to work. Appointing the persons is in the somebody's hands. But can have the option to work with them or otherwise. If you are confident enough that you can make the personnel appointed to make them work according to your methods and beliefs, you can work with them. Otherwise your only option left for you is to quit. It all depends on how you view and and interpret the things.

Mindfulness is having inner sight of one's self. It should be done for recognizing our inner strengths and weaknesses. This is called " Atmavalokanam " in Sanskrit. It means having clear view of one's self. This helps in strengtheing our weaknesses and fortifying further our strengths. It should be done sincerely and followed

@usha manohar That's great! That means we have a common liking. Nayak is too good and Uttam Kumar was at his peak at that time. I have not watched Sathi Hara so I have no idea about it but the other movies are really nice. Amanush and Anand Ashram are bilinguals and I have watched them in both the languages. The thread started with National Anthem then it led to Bengali movie and that discussion cannot be completed without the mention of Uttam Kumar. @rambabu You have mentioned Saptapadi and I think no Bengali would say that they did not like the movie and the x-factor of the movie is the song on a bike. That sequence is simply unforgettable and has made the lead pair immortal in the world of Bengali cinema.

@Shampa, you have shared a beautiful video. The music inspires us and makes us feel the real spirit of patriotism. Watching the scenes and hearing the breath-taking full version of Jana Gana Mana, I hope it is going to be a wonderful movie. Thanks for sharing.

In simple words, Mindfulness involves conscious awareness. We are consciously paying our attention on what we are doing in the present moment. Breathing, eating, thinking, etc., happen in our life but we are not paying attention to them. They just happen. But in the state of mindfulness, we purposefully observe everything as it happens, and accept them as it is without doing any judgment. We live in the present moment. When the actions, emotions, thoughts, etc., happen and our awareness is just watching them like a witness, then we are in mindfulness. But when all actions, emotions and thoughts vanish and only awareness exists, then we are in meditation.
