But with the rampant abuse of environment for the sake of Development, rainfall has become scarce. Groundwater levels are depleting. All these factors are to pondered before we think of eradicating Hunger. It applies to India too. Due to reduced rainfall, it has become a herculean task for a farmer to grow his crops. For this reason farmers are forced to resort to chemical based agriculture. The chemical used for farming are ridden with toxins, which further lead to poisoning the food.  The traders started using artificial colors to the vegetables and artificial ways to ripen the fruits. As far as I'm concerned, I'm aware that I'm eating poison, not food. But I don't have any option. Some consolation for me is, I eat more pulses. and I eat only home food. Not only we eating poison, we are drinking poison, we are breathing poison. We have not any option. Pulses are also not free from poison. You can cook food at home you can't grow these at home. The best solution of it is use these with care. Use old grains and try to grow some vegetable at home. Filter water properly. I agree. We don't have any option. Even old grains also not easily available except in faraway village  fairs. In these fast paced life, it is not possible. But as you said, one should exercise utmost care in using these foods. That is the only option left to us. Always purchase whole grains and store them for one year. In this way you will get old grains. Sock pluses at least 6 hours and that use these.

Timely action especially in  Health matters is very essential. In this matter women shy away fro approaching a doctor. Most of the women related problems are hidden. This is highly undesirable for the sake of their own health. a  physician has to be consulted.

When he was president he never speak that president wants this, he always speak that Kalam wants it.  He never like Band galey ka coat and long dress, he likes blue shirt and slippers.

I am reminded of a case where one of my relatives who passed away last year .He used to have problem while urinating and he never told his doctor who was also a family friend, thinking it was because he was not drinking enough water.Later he began developing pain in his lower abdomen and limbs , when he went in for a scan it was  discovered that he had Prostate cancer which was in stage 4 where his bones too were affected..He passed away last year after fighting the cancer for 2 years ! So, no matter what I guess it is better to consult a doctor at the earliest ..

If I recall correctly divorce is granted only on seven grounds in India. Mutual consent can help in dissolving the marriage very fast. Yes the girls becoming financially independent is one contributory reason for increased divorces as they can now live independently. But they cannot be blamed because now it is a level playing field.

Yes I also read it, Jaya Lalita is doing deeds for welfare of Tamil Nadu's peoples. Amma hotels, Amma cement, Amma theater etc. What is cause  behind  these kindness. is less important but at present public of Tamil Nadu getting benefits of all these schemes is important. Mayawati spend  thousands million rupees on her status. What is use of these?

In order to cure a malaise it is important to understand the disease Merely passing judgments does not address the issue in totality. Mayawati, Mulayam, Modi, Sonia , Mamata, Jaya are manifestations of the same system. Is there something wrong with the system itself? Intellectuals usually are strongly opinionated persons who form strong walls which resist permeation of new ideas. Flexibility is not necessarily a compromise but openness to consider and accept different views. Corruption is deep rooted in our society. Recently a young person known to me interacted first time with Mumbai Municipality for getting some certificate. He is in a daze as he got it in ten minutes without paying any bribe. He told me he just could not believe it. Such is our country.

India and Hindu nation, it is impossible. Leaders of India are habitual and addict of saying any words without thinking. But the nation must be solve this problems. Cow is holy animals for Hindus for thousand of years. All religions have some faiths and believes. So we all should be tried to regard these.

From what I have seen The ladies in our politics be it Jayalalitha who is a Iyengar Brahmin  or Mayawati  who is a Dalit are equally corrupt . In fact i would say that Jayalalitha's scale of corruption comes nowhere near that of Mayawati. But Mayawatis and Mulayam Singhs cases were dropped because of the interference of the then government, hoping they would support them, whereas Karunanidhi who had the centers approval hounded Jayalalitha and she had to spend time in prison too making it look as if she is the most corrupt leaders. Today if one were to travel through Tamilnadu, you can only hear praise for her because she delivers ..She has done a lot for the farming community as well as laborers and other poorer sections. I doubt if any of the other CMs Dalit or otherwise has done as much ..

By doing so they want India to become like Pakistan. Of course I am with the majority who want India to be secular and retain its centuries old  plurality. I am also a proud secular Hindu like million others.   No, that's not the case otherwise we would not be reading this http://www.hindujagruti.org/news/27475.html

rambabu wrote: Divorce cases  last for years. The lawyers who charge astronomical amounts are the real beneficiaries. Additionally adjournment after adjournment cause mental depression. And there will be threatening and warnings by the other party. All these factors together makes the one who seeks divorce a mental wreck. you are right, if they don't want to live together, it is OK, live separate, but what is the need of divorce.

It is a genuine fear but expanding cities and rising population are keeping the need for small retailers alive. Also do not forget that these stores are huge employers in the store and downstream also. Perhaps it is time a study of te impact of these modern marketing methods s carried out.

Honestly, I have never found shopping for vegetables and fruits and grocery shopping a burden , in fact I enjoy it and look forward to it...So, no way will I go for online grocery shopping . Here most of the super markets deliver home and take orders on phone. The rest I have not bothered to find out because I am not interested !

It is mode of marketing of future. But it is possible only in big cities. It is easy and comfortable but it will be cause of unemployment in future. These will swallow small retailers.

@ Swetha , I agree , there are many more marriages breaking up these days and one of the reason may be because ladies have become financially independent and are not ready to compromise like before which may or may not be good , taking everything into account ! But change is an essential part of life so...At the same time, if one has made a bad choice, it is better to cut off right at the beginning rather than after having children , making them go through unhappiness and misery when the couple fight ! The couple I was talking about had an arranged marriage and are cousins like most matches here..Such a marriage always comes with complications and problems !
