Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic If goddesses were real!.
Idols are considered to be ideals because voiceless image is what people like to admire and worship, in exchange want their own voice to be heard everywhere. This cannot take place when idols become real. A personality with voice is always a matter to bother about because such personalities will not accept whatever comes in their way.

Experts say presently MBA is an overrated degree. Most colleges struggle with placements. After all the purpose of education is to provide a livelihood in tune with the student's qualification. Any student will join an educational institute especially B Schools with a hope that his institution will help in Placement in tune with his qualification. In the last decade many Business schools placed MBA students in good positions.
Presently , the fact is only one student was selected among 15 students recruited by a large firm. This diminishing trend illustrates the rapidly fading popularity of MBA.

Professing Vegetarianism or to that matter any Food eating ways are mentioned right from the Vedic times to Modern times. I don't see anything wrong in Mentioning the benefits and losses of a particular eating practice. It's up to the people to accept or refuse.
In the present context of the thread, the Minister said people can eat whatever they like. A beef can do so if he likes it. But it is not advisable to force or ridicule the other food eating ways in other religions.

rambabu replied to the topic Female teacher sexually exploits her student .
Woman especially Woman teachers sexually exploiting students ia an incident not very uncommon. These incidents mirror the changing values in the society.
It makes me wonder where our the age old beliefs on Teachers who acted like Guide, mentor and philosopher had gone. Our Gurus or Teachers were revered and worshipped like Gods.
Would it have been possible had Our Teachers who made great people like late Kalam or Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan and such noble people behaved like the Teacher mentioned in the thread ?

The report made about Dooms Day was made by NASA. The report was made by Professor Safa Motesharreia of university of Maryland funded by NASA.
As you said Dooms Day is imminent. The reasons are very clear. If one Looks at the environment abuse increasing by day, One can be sure of Dooms Day if not today, tomorrow. But Dooms Day is a certainty.

Dear Anil, First of all, even though I too draw cartoons, R.K Laxman is a giant and I'm mere a speck. Kahan R.K Laxman Aur Kahan Main ? He is in the sky and I'm on the ground.
Now let me tell about late R.K Laxman. He worked as a regular cartoonist in the beginning days as a political catoonist in The Freepress Journal, Mumbai. Later he Joined The Times of India and became famous for his Immortal cartoon " Common man."
His cartoons remain forever.
One of the cartoons which impressed me was, A dialogue between two Villagers. Both had seen that a laughing politician approaching their village for the first time after his election.
They say, It seems, it is the election Time now.
Very funny, what cartoonist express in their cartoon is bitter, but it is sugar and laughing gas coated.
True. cartoons make you laugh especially cartoons with satire. They remind us about the sorry state of affairs prevailing in the society and poke us in a subtle and smooth manner.

In relation with the theme of the thread, If gods or Goddesses come alive what would be their feelings and reactions. My answer is these Gods and Goddesses would be safe in the form of Idols. If they come out alive they would prefer to go back in to the form of Idols, seeing the present state of rampant corruption in all walks of life.

rambabu replied to the topic Politicians and Tantriks .
No doubt politicians generally, with exceptions are believers not only in Tantrics but Palmistry, etc. And these things surface up especially during elections to find ways and means to defeat their Political opponents. In the present context Ntish Kumar, CM, Bihar seeking Tantrics help is nether strange nor new.
