The very fact that it is in use , whether it is in rituals or by scholars, it is very much around as a language and used by some on a daily basis ! There is a also a Sanskrit news report in DD channel ! The present government wants to revive Sanskrit which is a very positive step but the opposition and Congress sympathisers see saffron even there !

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit seems to be packed with activities ranging from a first time ever speech by an Indian PM at the British Parliament, meeting with the Indian origin businessmen and other dignitaries , attending a rally organised by the Indian community at Wembley and lunch with  Queen Elizabeth ! Modi  hopes to push for more business ventures , also trying to ease the VISA regulations to Indian travellers etc ...

Kohinoor has history attached to it and it is not easy to bring it back easily as and when India feels like it ...Of course legal angles will be tried out but whether anyone would succeed is something we have to wait and see since it involves too many red tape .. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/nov/11/returning-treasures-kohinoor-diamond-india-british-museum

A very communal Chief Minister from a communal party like Congress has today brought in so much of violence and disturbance caused in the state , started by his goons, now blames the Hindu groups...Many districts have Bandh today including my city where everything is closed since Tipu did maximum damage here ...This is what happens when you have politicians who by their stupidity and selfish agenda take decisions that bring in unrest and problems to the masses!

Happiness is the ultimate goal of human life. My preference is to be happy. And naturally, to be happy, one should be healthy too. A healthy life without happiness is of no use. Both are interdependent and cannot be isolated from each other.

That way no language- Pali, Prakrit, Hebrew- may be called dead.  Often we find the extinct things in museum. The magazines described by you and other related things like sahiytya academy awards do not in any sense make Sanskrit a living language. Obviously Sanskrit is not used by public. The only use is for religious rituals or for scholars studying ancient knowledge.   Sir with all due apologies, I'd like  to ask you a question. If Sanskrit is extinct, What for these   Sanskrit publications and News channels  are there ? Is it not a waste of time and money ? Is it not a waste of money which is being spent towards their salaries and news print ?

According to the history, Koh- i- noor is believed to have been mined in the Kollur mine in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, during the reign of Kakatiya dynasty in the 13 th century. It was installed in a Hindu goddess as her eve.  But David Cameroon, who is presently in India said in no certain terms that Koh- i-noor will not be returned back to India. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/02/21/koh-i-noor-diamond-not-returned-india-david-cameron-insists-pictures_n_2732342.html

Happy life is my first choice. Being happy automatically leads to a Healthy life. Happiness opens flood gates to Health. Because Happiness makes you an optimist. Even if you aspire for a Healthy life, in my view Happiness is the starting point for everything including healthy life. The most successful people are Happy first. Without being Happy first everything looks gloomy. Hence I conclude that One should be happy first.
