People who reside in the same locality and having a common destination can take out their vehicle once in 3 days or a week as the case may be. It reduces the traffic congestion conservation of petrol as well as  atmospheric pollution. No need to say others to surrender his/her vehicles. Start from you. If some one children are going school or college on bikes stop this practice and suggest them to use cycles. If school or college is far away then use school vehicles.

The Melas in UK were organised by the Non resident Indians because they wanted to showcase India and its culture and not by Modi or BJp , so resident Indians too if interested  can organise Melas like they did before for The Family and its entourage ..

History written by historians is what one should be following not one distorted by politicians ,especially from the grand old party ,who think the entire nation is theirs for the taking and have no qualms about twisting facts to suit their selfish agenda which is purely communal and done with the purpose of creating a rift between different communities .. Now because some people are resisting their attempt they start coloring their argument , but one can see through it..

Even if not enforced by a state, one can do it as a responsible citizen and use alternative transport once a week. That would reduce the emission of harmful gases to a great extent!   That is a good initiative which has been started in many companies in Pune too. Apart from that, many companies encourage their employees to start and maintain carpools. Many others have now, of their own accord, started using bicycles to commute to work. Many of the private companies have buses that pick up their employees , which is an excellent initiative, also car pooling really helps. Now with the increased number of privately owned vehicles all cities large, medium or small and the roads are packed to capacity , during most time of the day ..

A person who like only to eat Pizza Pasta, how can yoga and physical activity keep away from diseases. Ayurveda insist on including 6 tests in our food to be a healthy diet. There is no disease that cannot be cured by Yoga. This is the reason why United Nations General Assembly declared International Yoga year to be observed on December 11 every year. The best thing about Yoga is, it is inexpensive. I am agree with you but if we invite disease than how can we cure it. Combination of Ayurveda, Yoga and Natural therapy is able to cure each and every disease. If one invites disease, nobody can help him and he is bound to fall prey to all kinds of diseases. Yoga should be started at an early age so that it becomes a part of our lives. And can be assured of a life long happy life. What all you need to do is, devote 10 minutes of your time for Yoga either in the morning or evening.

Lopamudra wrote: As much as everyone would love to see the precious gem back here where it belongs, I think it should be challenged, it does seem like a very difficult task .It's surrender was one of the terms/clauses of the Treaty of Lahore . And even if India succeeds, where should it go thereafter? There would be plenty of claimants within the country itself . And as discussed earlier, who can guarantee its fate would not be something like Tagore's Nobel prize medal ?? Exactly my thoughts! And as Usha too has mentioned previously that as long as it is displayed in the Royal museum in London, it is safe and everyone is aware of its whereabouts. But once it comes back to India, there will be a lot of ugly dramas regarding its claim and then the usual inefficiency involved in preserving and protecting it. It is safe where it is already present.

India will fight  tooth and nail and will not hesitate to use all its available resources at its disposal. But , it certainty is a Herculean task for India. Especially, David Cameroon's statement, the PM of Britain when he said, Koh - I - Noor will not be returned to India during Indian PM's visit to Britain.
