Yes honesty in general is being taken as a weakness. In these conditions, thinking of a " Change " in the society is a Herculean task. You cannot imagine even in your dreams.

Absolutely ! It is disgusting to see a person like Lalu who is probably a black mark on any politician in our country to be lording it up simply because our system made it so ! The same party that filed a case against him when is now ready to align with him just to come back to power through hook or crook ..

On the contrary I feel that the gas price may increase because of the cost of the infra structure which would be huge in the beginning, later probably they would be able to balance it out.But it would regularise many things including black market practices. As of now one can obtain a domestic gas cylinder for Rs 1700 here in my town, almost 4 times that of subsidised rates

Sure I will like the ones which I really like but not for the purpose of getting the points which in my views of not of any use. Of course if I find someone doing that with my posts intentionally and filling my mobile and email unnecessarily I will go after him and pay them in the same coin. I do not do it in general way and would like to keep admin out of it as I can handle the situation on personal level.

rambabu said thank you to MG Singh for his/her reply to the topic Saffronizing education .
I find this word " safronising education" both silly and out of context. What is safronising? It really means giving importance to Hinduism. What's wrong with it? No Hindu dare open his mouth when Muslism ruled India for 900 years. Our pseudo intellectuals must go out and see how education curiculum is worked out in other nations. Read the English text books they glorify christian faith and rule of England. How many know that the law of blasphemy is only against the Christian religion in UK. One must be pragmatic and not keep parroting what Congress says.

Kudos to you. You have expressed your point of view in a clear and lucid way. True, what's wrong with glorifying Hinduism. Is it a sacrilege ? I'm a Hindu and proud of being a Hindu.

Madsasa's ( islamic schools) were banned first by Kemal Ataturk in Turkey and they are banned in Russia and China. They are breeding grounds of terror. Even General Mushraff recognissed this in Pakistan and had started steps to regulate them, but he was overthrown. In India too much freedon exists in these matters  mainly engineered by the Congress. All Madrasa's need to be banned, but I concede in India it is no easy task

Not exactly, rather diametrically opposite, however clever might be the plain distortion of my views which I recorded in my previous posts. I would heap more praise than unmerited scorn which many ahead of me did.The Supreme Court judges held that the Sanskrit language as our precious cultural heritage emphasizing the need to learn it for protection of this heritage.Nehru committed even the graver sin(!) by going even beyond praise :"If I was asked what is the greatest treasure which India possesses and what is her finest heritage, I would answer unhesitatingly - it is the Sanskrit language and literature and all that it contains. This a magnificent inheritance, and so long as this endures and influences the life of our people, so long the basic genius of India will continue." I hope this is neither abstruse, nor abstract nor did it come from ivory towers!! Some people love to rubbish their heritage to the point of disowning it,ridiculously though!!!

It would be better if Modi Government should organize an Education Commission for revamping of the whole education system to make it more vocational skill-oriented with due respect to the cultural values of Bharat. That Commission can involve the public participation too to avoid any objection later on. Since every day of the nation is precious, the Commission may be allowed minimum period with vast resources to give report.
