usha manohar replied to the topic Tasting wine- Is this best job!.
I doubt if a wine taster would be as stupid as that...Normally they only take a drop of wine and are able to grade it through the smell and flavor. They definitely dont get drunk on wine !

That is facilities, a typo. It's the practice here to correct mistakes. That much of cooperation is expected.
The practice is saying, " I'm sure you meant Facilities."

Shampa Sadhya created new question Should a child dream to be popular or be famous? .
I believe that we can make the child understand the difference between popular and famous, then live it to the child to decide his action.
There is a minute difference in being popular and in being famous. I would encourage my child to become famous because I believe every popular personality does not enjoy respect of the mass but famous personalities usually receive enormous respect during their lifetime and even after death. Now, it's up to him to figure out and work hard accordingly.

Shampa Sadhya answered the question Why people are always in a hurry?.
End of life is not in our hands but to utilise the time we get is in our hand. Now, it's up to us, how we want to spend our time either by relaxation or make the full use of it to earn and make a name for ourselves. Those who would choose to relax will never be in hurry but if one wants to accomplish the maximum out of the given time will always be in hurry. He/she is afraid that when clock will stop ticking and many work will then remain pending. Thus, hurries to finish every desired task to feel that the life has been utilised fully and properly.

Shampa Sadhya answered the question What is it that always surprise you?.
I always get surprised by the selfish and stubborn attitude of the people around me. When they face physical, financial or emotional setback then they behave meekly and the moment they regain their position and confidence, they get back to their old stubborn practice. It angers me a lot because their attitude pushes others into trouble which is completely wrong.

If he passed out after after consuming the first sample, it says that the wine is very strong. Then automatically the other things follow in quick succession. He will be shown the exit.

Exactly. Wine tasters should be endowed with very sensitive organs especially their tasting buds.. After all sensitive organs play a pivotal role in a Wine taster's life.
I don't agree, what a wine taster will do if he passed out after consuming the first sample. So, I feel he should have good capacity of drinking more than his taste buds.

Whether you advice them or not is immaterial here as long as they do not force their beliefs on others.

I am sure the librarian whoever it is knows about books but there are several loopholes in your response. You said all the books in the list given my link come in pirated copies. Now , did you take the list to him and check and does he know all these books and whether they come in pirated copies ? You have to be sure of your facts before making a comment , which many a times you are not..

vijay replied to the topic Longest Chinese escalator .
I have experience of exporting to China for many years and have also visited China. Their is huge corruption in China by Communist party officials and bureaucracy. They do not get exposed because there is no free press and opposition. From time to time some action is initiated for some time and then it is business once again. The level of corruption has reached very high levels and the present govt. is forced to take action against some very high officials and Ministers. But it will not reduce corruption because there are no watchdogs.
@Sunil staircases are safe in China. They were built before the Communists took over !!
