Congress wanted to add, yet one more feather to their already filled cap to show its stupidity and foolishness. Stalling the Parliament proceedings frequently shows Congress's uncivilized and crude nature.

rambabu replied to the topic Lesser known facts of Indian history - Shivaji Maharaj was indeed the greatest of all!.
Yes. There was a golden era when people used to sleep keeping doors open without fear. Later when Bandicoots started entering from the neighboring areas and eating away the granaries , people not only killed the Bandicoots but closed their doors once and for all.

It gives me immense pleasure to see people show enthusiasm to know about Yoga legends like B.K.S. Iyengar. Such enthusiasm will further add to the importance of Yoga.

rambabu replied to the topic Atheism and terrorism .
As the Terrorism metastasizes across the world, Saudi Arabia that made even the well developed countries too kneel down for its oil, had gone above and beyond address the true threat to global stability. That's why Saudi Arabia declared Atheists as terrorists like ISIS as Terrorists. King Abdullah had clamped down on all forms of political dissent and protests that could harm public order.
The recent migration of Saudi groups to take part in Syria made Saudi Monarchs shiver with fear of losing their Monarchy.

I think you have a fetish in picking up Hinduism. Why Hinduism should reform FIRSt before other religions, why not all together? There is no doubt that one law must be enforced in a nation and the sharia has no place. Similaarly the caste system now perpetutaed by the Government cannot go away on its own. It has remained for thousands of years. A Mustaphha is needed in india.
I agree with you. There are certainly Musthfas are there in India. When the secularism was raped beyond recognition by the erstwhile sinister regimes especially by that party where Secularism was born and brought up, it takes time for our Indian Musthfas to deliver the goods.

RSS is a highly disciplined organization. Comparing RSS with the terrorist groups by the politicians who are sitting in the opposition benches shows their ignorance, stupidity and immaturity.

Kinnow is not availamle to us. Since the health benefits of Mosambi and Kinnow are almost same, We use Mosambi.
Kinnow is also available in South. If you want to taste it than order online to suppliers of Kinnow. After processing it is exported in other parts of India and abroad.
I could have purchased Kinnow through online. Now a days online purchasing is not reliable. Its time taking. Whereas Mosambi is readily available for me within minutes.

If you are busy throughout the day with physical activity, you are so tired at the end of the day that you don't need anything to fall asleep like in my case, I find that I am not able to read even a single page now after dinner because I am so sleepy , mainly because I am on my feet all through the day and by the end of the day I am totally exhausted !
yes I am busy without physical activity. It is the problem that I am longing for sound sleep. I spent 8 to 9 hours in a day in sitting posture. I also tired but this tiredness is not helpful in sleeping.
Physical activity in any form will make a big difference which in turn induces sleep. Even a little walking, intermittently whenever you find a bit, of time walking inside your shop especially when the business is somewhat dull will help.

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk undertook several ptogrammes in the fields Political, economic and reforms. He had transformed former Ottoman empire in to a modern and secular nation , Thousands of new schools were opened. Primary education was made free and compulsory. Women were given equal civil political rights.
His actions can certainly be implemented in India too. Though these acts were destroyed beyond recognition by the earlier regimes, I'm sure the present Government can deliver the goods.

Mustapha kemel transformed Turkey in a decade , while in India ills like the caste system and obscurantism among Muslims is centuries old and will not go away on its own. In fact from the time of my schooling I find the caste divisions have accentuated now. Even Gandhi failed.

In my home we all speak in Bengali mainly but occasionally we converse in Hindi and English too. So, knowing more than one language is always helpful as well as makes the communication quite interesting. Still, I feel if I am among the Bengali community and people are conversing in Bengali but I fail to join them for my inability to speak or understand my mother tongue then I I will find myself totally out of place. This is definitely embarrassing.
You made a good beginning. You speak in Bengali in your family. If you maintain this practice consistently, Children especially speak in Bengali as long as they are in the family. They may speak any language in the school, but certainly converse in your mother tongue with the parents.
