Shampa Sadhya answered the question What makes you good?.
Am I good or not is based upon the people to judge but yes, I can say some traits about myself so that you can judge for yourself about me. I am:
1. simple and straightforward and dislike them who believe in double standard.
2. Love them who are good but can't accept anyone even my blood relations who treat others badly and are very selfish
3. Though I avoid to spend time with them whom I feel are very negative minded, I try to remain indifferent and not abuse them only because I think abusing anyone is a bad trait. If very much needed then I would prefer to speak up openly and show my disgust and not shy away because I believe a wrongdoer should not be excused.
4. For me every relationship is very important so no relationship of mine can overtake another relationship's position.
There are many more to say about myself but let it be this much only.

I will take whatever Prashant Bhusan says with a pinch of salt. This is the same man who talked of atrocities of Indian army in Kashmir and advocated freedom. He was thrashed for this in his chamber. Even at that time Kejriwal distanced himself from Bhushan. Bhushan is the man who insisted on a midnight session of Supreme court for Afzal Guru hanging annulment.take what he says with a pinch of salt.

RAMAKRISHNAN. A replied to the topic dangerous to read Urdu. .
It is sad that some fanatics are trying to create uneasiness among people in the name of language, identifying certain languages with some religions and nationality. I do not know Urdu but I know it is a beautiful language, similar to Hindi while speaking, but different in scripts and vocabulary while writing. I love every language alike. Language has no religion.

Very true. Some researchers have opined men think of sex every 8 minutes. Let's face the facts that women are desired by men. Its law of nature

MG Singh created new topic Japanese population is declined while India having population explosion.
The latest figure which have appeared show the Japanese population declined by one million. This is the lowest since 1920. In contest Indian population is leaping ahead and will shortly overtake China. This is dangerous and a veritble tinder bkx that can destroy India. Greater population means fruits of development are not available and no jobs for all. What can be the solution. Voluntary birth control hasfailed and its time to regiment like China , which for decades had one child policy till it stabilized

Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic A lovely gift from a sweet friend.....
Friendship is a very sweet relationship which can develop among two beings when they nurture it with honour and honesty. Pen friendship was also very popular and maybe many such friendships developed quite strong though I have no example to name. I hope that web friendship can also grow very strongly.

Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic Adopt Roman script and English terminolgy .
It sounds good but won't be practical because a huge percentage of people are not very comfortable in English especially while writing the technical words. They can express it very conveniently in Hindi or in their mother tongue. It will further create confusion if English is made mandatory for official use in India.

Urdu language is undoubtedly a very sweet and rich language which if learnt will enrich the learner. We must not forget that language is a medium of communication and everyone is free to use it.

My father knows Urdu an my maternal grandfather was a master in Urdu. Before 1947, Urdu was the court language in PUnjab. I also love Uru, but somehow never learnt it. It is similar to Hindustani and only script is different. There is no bar and people who feel scared of learning urdu, should simply go ahead.

Jincy Aby liked the topic dangerous to read Urdu. .
Urdu is a rich language developed in Avadh and Lucknow. Urdu has been court language for many years. Still the terminology used in courts in U.P. is mostly Urdu. The phrases and words like 'talaqnama', 'ikrarnama', 'nuzool' are urdu. The lyrics in Hindi movies are mostly Urdu.
But reading Urdu paper is dangerous. People may suspect you as Pakistani agent. Somebody was just reading some Urdu magazine. But co passengers viewed him as Pakistani supporter only for this. They identify Urdu with Muslim and Muslim with Pakistan. Obviously this is a consequence of the venomous environment deliberately generated by extreme right wing fascist forces.
