rambabu said thank you to chinmoymukherjee for his/her reply to the topic Anti India slogan in JNU, Delhi.
Here comes the brilliant judgement of Justice Pratiba Rani of Delhi HC! She has granted bail to Kanhaiya Kumar what could be construed as 'antibiotic treatment' in her own words ,talking about the danger of infection needing surgery even amputation of it when that infection turns gangrenous! She has exposed all our pseudos whose only passion is polemics. She has taken a dig at a section of teachers whose credentials are suspect, they are out there to lead students into a world of anarchy and nihilism.I request you to go through her judgement. A very thought- provoking one!!

I must say Justice Pratibha Rani's statement should act as an eye opener to Free Speech enthusiasts. She refused to concede that the slogans raised by the students could be protected under fundamental right to Freedom of speech. She further described it is a kind of infection from which students are suffering, that needs to be controlled or cured before it becomes an epidemic. Thank you Chinmoy.

Christian families too tended to be very large although , now they are aware of the practical difficulties of having too many children and have consciously been bringing down the size of their families which is a good size...The educated muslims too have realised the advantage small family gives them but it is a different matter in villages and in uneducated families True Usha, more and more educated families now realize the importance of having less children and are doing so of their own will, but still even in cities there are many families who are educated but still refuse to adopt control measures. I closely now a family where he daughter's first born son was diagnosed with a congenital heart valve, instead of focusing on his treatment, her in-laws forced her to have two more sons, in  addition to first 2 sons and a daughter, and now with 5 children, he has been sent back to her parents. Her father is a retired engineer from MES and all these people are well educated. But her in-laws won't accept her back saying she has a curse on her head just because of the first born son's condition. Not to mention, the family is Muslim! Yes it is still not 100% ...My sister who is a gynecologist goes to villages with their mobile unit and there have been times when they have been threatened and abused by muslim men because their wives were advised on family planning by the doctors..They had to lodge a police complaint once because these men would not let them work in the village which comprises of all religious groups .. India is big country and 100% is not possible. Hindus are serious about size of family even in rural area. They understand that more children, more pieces of their lands. Gradully Muslim will also understand this fact that small family in favor of them and their children.   I agree with you. I also agree with Usha and Kalyani on the importance of smaller families. What I think is a change in attitude of the people started. As you said, because of the vastness of the country, the small change will not look conspicuously. The much needed Small Family norm will take time, though not immediately, . I have seen , this change of attitude is visible even in orthodox Muslim families.

China is bigger economy than India because have not democracy like India. It is latest example that how Jat agitation Paralayis whole north India. But remember on thing that armature is must to face war but, war is always fight with jeal and bravery of forces. Indian forces proved it many times.    There is no doubt of the bravery of Indian forces. In fact during British rule Indian army was finest fighting machine in Asia. Unfortunately Nehru and Congress never gave it priority, it deserved.   I fully agree with you. It's not only negligence of army, a plethora of issues related to this country like irrigation were set aside by Nehru. The same negligence was carried out by all his kith who ruled this country for two decades. Nehru and his dynasty were the bane on this country.

Jincy Aby wrote:  Flying kite is one of the interesting activities among children. Even small children can fly kite very easily. I don't understand why there is license for flying kite. Will they punish the little cute children whether they fly kite for enjoyment? Really a funny law. If the cute and little children can fly a kite, of course they too are punishable. Because it's a law. It may look strange to many, even if the law looks and sounds  strange, it has to be obeyed. Then "UNUSUAL is the headline of the thread.Isn't it ....

One can express freely without hesitation, I fully agree with Usha  too.

Godse is a real life character in Indian history. He killed Gandhi. In no way, he can be compared with mythological deities associated with peoples' faith. Itr is okay to worship Durga or Mahishasur according to one faith. But it will be anti national to celebrate real life villains/ criminals.

The latest news in JNU episode is that the accused has been granted interim bail for six months. The court has made some remarks on the anti national slogans advising for remedial measures.

Shampa Sadhya replied to the topic Dowry and alimony.
usha manohar wrote: Shampa Sadhya wrote: Asking for dowry is a crime but it is still prevalent in our society. The girl's side must not give dowry in any circumstance because the men who accept dowry in marriage are not worthy to get married. Now, comes the question of alimony, regarding it I will second @usha manohar's opinion but with a minor twist. I would prefer ladies not to accept alimony from their husband with whom their relationship has gone sour and by doing so their self respect will rise. Yes, there are some circumstances when the divorced ladies are left with no choice and are willingly/unwillingly have to accept alimony. On the other hand I am against those ladies who file false cases to harass the husband and the in-laws. They in no way deserve alimony but if their is a child in between then certainly the man as a father has a responsibility towards his child so for his/her sake one must take care of the child's need such as education and all other requirements. Like I said before it is not at all an easy matter to get alimony because family courts deliberate and after a lot of considerations think of granting alimony, so there is no question of any false case being encouraged by the court , which is as it is , is prejudiced against women ! It seems you got me a little wrong. I did not mean that court will encourage false case for alimony. I was talking about the fake domestic violence cases filed by the wives and when it gets proved that the wife's accusation was false then in that case divorce should be granted to the husband and alimony should not be given to her. That should be her punishment of ruining an entire family for her selfish desire.
