Exactly. Nincompoops who are scared of humiliating defeat are supporting Kanaiya Kunmar . He says he wants freedom from BJP. As Chinmoy aptly said, see the fate of those who prattled earlier that they wanted freedom from BJP. Kanaihya Kumar too will meet the same fate and will be swept away by the Modi wave.

Today we are the largest armaments buyers in the world because our economy is able to bear the expense and yet the infiltrators walk in. That should be the issue. How to make India stronger should be debated. Nehru bashing is not going to lead anywhere except making some babus and singhs happy again and again.
Vijay, first thing we are not blaming Nehru Ji, he is respected leader of India who sacrifice enough for the freedom. We are only debating about his policies. India is not capable in manufacturing armaments so it have only one alternates to buy from others. Now India is enough strong country and also needs of whole world. Nehru ji was founder of Non alliance group but after defeat from China he wrote letter to USA President for supply of armaments, and it was President of USA who stop Pakistan to attack on India when India was struggling with China. Hopeless non alliance group!
Nehru was a idealist and thus never understood power politics and famous Mao quote ' power comes out of a barrel of a gun'. He had a chance to be greatest leader in Asia but in ultimate analysis flunked. Why we cannot forget Nehru because he saddled India for ever with kashmir problem and lost territory to China. He reduced India to a second rate power. Hero worship of Nehru must stop as he left problems for Indians that can never be solved for next 100 years.
According to some, Hero worship of Narendra Modi is wrong. But Hero worship of Nehru should not be stopped despite Nehru and his clan's destructive policies, from which this Nation cannot recover for many many years. What a biased minded and one sided opinion !!! Such members should be taught rudiments of impartiality.

So Kanhaiya is out with his agenda and political ambition and is being feted by the media as the flaming revolutionary, the whizkid on the blocks to set the Indian political firmament afire! He wants azadi from BJP government, how? He has countless predecessors before him - Anna,Kejriwal et al! Look what they are today! I read that leftists in WB are delirious in joy to captalize Kanhaiya as their poll mascot in the forthcoming elections conveniently forgetting their horrible record of malgovernance lasting long 34 dark years. They ravaged industry, education, health and everything and all that a civil and civilized society stands for.Poor Kanhaiya! He will be coming and expected to defend these leftist hooligans, anarchists and lumpens in his campaign!

According to law, license for flying kite is necessary. But the law is inoperative practically and nobody knows this. Possibly, there is no authority to whom you may apply for flying kites. In fact, there are thousands of such legal provisions that neither the citizens nor police are aware of. One day, I came across a book that is a compilation of various legislation. Most of these are obsolete and not commonly known even to advocates and judiciary
Kite flying is a tradition associated with Makar Sankranti. For kite flying there is no need to apply for a license at least in my state. I don't know about other states.

True Usha, more and more educated families now realize the importance of having less children and are doing so of their own will, but still even in cities there are many families who are educated but still refuse to adopt control measures. I closely now a family where he daughter's first born son was diagnosed with a congenital heart valve, instead of focusing on his treatment, her in-laws forced her to have two more sons, in addition to first 2 sons and a daughter, and now with 5 children, he has been sent back to her parents. Her father is a retired engineer from MES and all these people are well educated. But her in-laws won't accept her back saying she has a curse on her head just because of the first born son's condition. Not to mention, the family is Muslim!
Yes it is still not 100% ...My sister who is a gynecologist goes to villages with their mobile unit and there have been times when they have been threatened and abused by muslim men because their wives were advised on family planning by the doctors..They had to lodge a police complaint once because these men would not let them work in the village which comprises of all religious groups ..
India is big country and 100% is not possible. Hindus are serious about size of family even in rural area. They understand that more children, more pieces of their lands. Gradully Muslim will also understand this fact that small family in favor of them and their children.
I agree with you. I also agree with Usha and Kalyani on the importance of smaller families. What I think is a change in attitude of the people started. As you said, because of the vastness of the country, the small change will not look conspicuously. The much needed Small Family norm will take time, though not immediately, . I have seen , this change of attitude is visible even in orthodox Muslim families.
Yes it will take time, government is also doing enough in this field. Cash awards for sterilization is effective one.
Government is very keen on controlling the population without an iota of doubt. The importance of small families is yet to reach the deep core of the society. It takes time .
