Many of of esteemed in India want to deny the facts of history. here is a quote "According to Prof. K.S. Lal, the author of the Growth of Muslim population in India, the Hindu population decreased by 80 million between 1000 AD, the year Mahmud Ghazni invaded India and 1525 AD, a year before the battle of Panipat. One can safely add another 20 million Hindus to this list to account for the number that were killed during the Mughal rule or the rule of the Muslim rulers in the Deccan plateau. By all known accounts of world history, as pointed out by Koenard Elst in his book the Negationism in India, destruction of about 100 million hindus is perhaps the biggest holocaust in the whole world history. " yet one member says"  dont discuss this !!!!!!"   The member you are referring is well known for his biased views.Poor member he is suffering from indigestion.  Cannot  assimilate truth. Because it is bitter. Simply dismissing his views is the best thing. Who said- don't discuss. I never said. But I remember that in a post, Vijay said so. We are all human and our discussion here should not be taken so personal.  There are bound to be diverse views. We must respect all members irrespective of different views. Let us discuss anything within the Boddunan rules. If somebody does not like a topic, he is free to ignore that.

This just happened even without my giving any thought to this. In fact, as mentioned by another member in the thread, beer is also beneficial. I agree that alcoholic drink especially beer benefits also. If beer have benefits than government must be distribute at PDS, after all it is matter of public health, funny  although funny, this is real in army. When there is extreme cold or inclement weather, free rum is issued in army. There is nothing wrong if this is done in civil also in such circumstances.   What is funny in it? We cannot brand drinks entirely bad because even doctors do suggest that one can have it in total moderation during winter. If the general health of a person is fine but catches cold and cough very easily are usually suggested to take a very small amount of brandy. I have seen such people who braved winter with the help of a very little quantity of brandy. Funny is the suggestion to distribute liqueur through PDS system. The member himself said this as a fun. I agree that some brandy is useful to brave extreme cold. I remember that once I traveled from Udhampur to Patni top. (J & K). I began shivering on moving out the vehicle althouth I had full warm clothing. a colleague gave me a peg of whiskey and I got okay.

I don't see South Indian movies as I don't know the languages. From the thread, I understand that he was a very talented and popular artist in south India. My homage to the departed artist.

rambabu wrote: Sir, the link is not opening.  I tried for another site connected with this news. Moreover, the ink article is in Hindi which many of our members cannot understand. According to the link, one Shilpi Tiwari, an associate of union HRD minister inserted a forged video on JNU incident in her Facebook account. That video was used by Zee news to make false propaganda. I think that most computer systems facilitate translation into English articles in other languages.

Anybody may write his views whatsoever these be. But please do not misrepresent others. Nobody says that Hindus are fascists. Fascism is nothing but to attack other religions or those who you don't agree with. Presently, the so called Hindutva elements (not Hindus as such) are targeting minorities, lower caste Hindus and political opponents- dubbing all opposition as anti national. In fact, it is subversion of the principle of unity in diversity that characterizes fascism.  Nobody ever told that Hindus are fascists.

Kalyani Nandurkar said thank you to usha manohar for his/her reply to the topic what is secularism?.
Of course this is a known fact because the so called secular laws are for Hindus only ! They have to practice family planning and abide by all laws laid down by the constitution whereas both Muslims and Christians can have their own laws with regard to marriage, divorce and property ! And on top of that the majority community is discouraged from not discussing about these special rules made for them...Our nation is communal not secular !

Brilliant indeed ! Now we have another great historic fact unearthed here by our eminent member - Hindus themselves are responsible for  the reservation system ...I guess this is what is being planned by the communal party in the coming days if someone points fingers at them for dividing the nation by bringing in reservation..
