very true. Many of of esteemed in India want to deny the facts of history. here is a quote "According to Prof. K.S. Lal, the author of the Growth of Muslim population in India, the Hindu population decreased by 80 million between 1000 AD, the year Mahmud Ghazni invaded India and 1525 AD, a year before the battle of Panipat.
One can safely add another 20 million Hindus to this list to account for the number that were killed during the Mughal rule or the rule of the Muslim rulers in the Deccan plateau. By all known accounts of world history, as pointed out by Koenard Elst in his book the Negationism in India, destruction of about 100 million hindus is perhaps the biggest holocaust in the whole world history. "
yet one member says" dont discuss this !!!!!!"
The member you are referring is well known for his biased views.Poor member he is suffering from indigestion. Cannot assimilate truth. Because it is bitter. Simply dismissing his views is the best thing.
Who said- don't discuss. I never said. But I remember that in a post, Vijay said so. We are all human and our discussion here should not be taken so personal. There are bound to be diverse views. We must respect all members irrespective of different views. Let us discuss anything within the Boddunan rules. If somebody does not like a topic, he is free to ignore that.

Discussing same topic over and over again should not be encouraged as that does not lead to any meaningful discussions. But I am no one to stop interested members from doing so. When Rambabu runs out of arguments he earns points by clicking like button but not replying. Can Rambabu or MGSingh provide proof that Muslims have said they do not want to be ruled by Hindus. In India elections are heldon one man one vote where religion does not come into play. Figments of imagination are sought to be converted into issues.

sarala replied to the topic dangerous to read Urdu. .
It sounds very bad. Reading Urdu paper is considered as a Pakistan Muslim and Muslim means Pakistan terrorist. All these are really bad on the person who think. for suppose there is a mango tree and one of the mango tastes very sour then that means remaining mango of that tree will be sour no na? then the statement of reading Urdu is dangerous and consider as Pakistani is no sense as there are many Indian Muslims in India and they have right to read Urdu paper

I saw it and then I saw all the clippings of this debate. He presented his point quite strongly but on the other hand Barkha Dutt all presented her opinion very strongly. So, all these points are quite debatable and we need to think more and more about it.

sarala replied to the topic Dowry and alimony.
Dowry is a Crime. Parents of the bride groom demand as they have spend money on their son from his childhood. But this is not at all right. because even parents of bride also spend more money on their daughter. So dowry is a immoral and crime.
Alimony is some amount of money which is given to the wife after separation as she need to live as earlier she spend her life with her husband but later she will be alone due to separation so alimony is necessary.
Therefore, there is no comparison for Dowry and Alimony.

India is a secular country and give equal freedom to all religion. That is the reason why people of different religion are living here very happily. Most of the people in our country is Hindus. For giving consideration to other religion who are very few in number, our government recognize the demand of these minorities. People in all religion are living very happily in India.

After all it is only a debate!! Cheers!!
Sir, there is nothing fascism about our discussion. Some have said that Hindus are being described as fascists. This is not so. As long as you follow your own religion and let others also follow theirs, you respect independence of thoughts and expression irrespective of differences, there is no fascism.
But the tendency to force certain ideology (clearly the aggressive Hinduism) and brand all others as anti national is fascism. Despite fear of repetition, I say that as long as you respect the principle of unity in diversity, you are nationalist. But when you link nationalism to a particular religion and its practices and brand all others as anti nationalist, fascism is there.
Gulshanji after reading Chinmoy's needelessly harsh comments you must have felt like saying "et tu Brutus". Such is the power of divisive forces.

The Muslim obsession of some forum members is robbing the forum of diversity of views. These would like their way of thinking to be the way of all Hindus and thus who so ever said they were behaving as fascists. It is nearly three years since their type of government is in Delhi, why are they not changing the laws to withdraw the so called fantastic concessions given to Muslims and remove the grave injustice to other citizens. Why such issues crop up only at election time and then go into hibernation.

There are some laws in Christian religion. But the religion never compel people to obey their rules. People have complete freedom to reject a particular law if they can't follow. But in Muslim religion, they ought to obey the laws of Islamic.

It is time Kher came out and admitted his political affiliations so that his view points are seen in proper perspective rather than sponsored or provocative outbursts (depending on one's leanings). That he was removed from the Chairmanship of Censor Board by Congress in 2004 could be a reason for his hatred for Rahul and his party. Genuine grevience from Kher's side.
