Sean Connery made some comments in an interview for a specific question about slapping women when they act like b...s, and definitely it was not accepted and he drew a lot of flake for that.
Here this ...hole actor makes a speech at a function and brings up such lewd comments , goes to show his background and cheap mentality. Now a section of lawyers have lodged a police complaint against him...serves him right !

The incident at JNU is a shame on all Indians. People are digressing about doctored videos. Are they denying that this slogan shouting didnt take place? The fact is it took place and needs the severest punishment.
In any other country ( including pakistan where even flying an Indian flag got the boy 10 years RI) the road is jail. Here we are making a hero of Kanhaiya. I think he is a shallow person and wont go far. If he were in Singapore ( an advanced society) he would have got 10 lashes with a whip and he would be sobered up.
MG for a moment we accept it that anti India slogan was didn't shout that day, but it is question why he called meeting to pay homage to terrorist?

I guess insinuations made by the thread starter is perfectly acceptable to some members but when it is contradicted things take on a different color... However, it is a fact that these parties are indulging in all sorts of communal activities through hired goons to malign the ruling party. I strongly condemn any such attacks carried out on places of worship, no matter who is behind them !
As far as the church attack in Raipur is concerned, 7 people have been arrested by the police for questioning but nowhere has it been mentioned that they are from any group...However, the president of the Christian association said that Bajrand dal was behind the attack, how he could have known that is a mystery , of course !

Dowry is an initial investment to enable young couple to begin married life. This is like initial capital in a business enterprise. The system has become very undesirable because of greed.
Marriage is not a business that there should be some capital investment and that has to be made by the bride's side. A groom must be worthy to maintain his family. Some may not have a huge money to set up a house filled with all the essentials and luxuries but one can start with the most essentials through his own income (nowadays mostly both earn) and with time all other requirements can be arranged. There is an immense satisfaction when a family is set up through one's own income and not through money from wife's family. Gift is altogether a different matter. In marriage gift can be given by either side and if both the families gift a bit sensibly then it helps the newly wed in their expenditure. That's it but dowry is not a gift but a demand which is highly unacceptable.
I am thinking many time that groom family who force to bride father for heavy dowry, how they show their face to bride family. Only shameless person can do it.

It is hard to say when dowry system started. Earlier it was optional, and it was gift to daughter from parents, or we can say that it was share in property of father of daughter which he gave her at time of marriage. But at present dowry is compulsory.

Shampa Sadhya answered the question Which one forms the best couple?.
It is very rare to find two persons exactly of the same kind and to be very honest I believe that similarities can usually create a hassle in the relationship while dissimilarities may strengthen the bond. Suppose both are stubborn and egoist then no one will try to mend the gap created between them due to any misunderstanding but if one is less stubborn or not egoist then rift can be easily overcome. So, I prefer the couple must have a little bit of dissimilarities in their basic attributes but moral values should be same such as both should be honest because if one is dishonest then that relationship will not be a great one.

Shampa Sadhya answered the question School Life or College Life? Which one influences a person most?.
School days are the most carefree days and also are the days when ignorance is shed away while starts gaining maturity step by step. On the other hand college days are those days when one learns how to handle maturity and move forward. Thus, college days are the days when life gets a direction and one starts following it.

Bajirao answered the question Education after Marriage?.
It depends on circumstances and a persons interest in education. If somebody is really interested in continuing their education and has some financial and family backup, they can go for for it. Sometimes even if people want to complete the education but either the family doesn't allow them or they don't have enough money to continue the education.
I personally think education even after marriage is necessary. Marriage should not be a hinderance in your knowledge.

It is a fact that Susheel who harassed a lady in public road is the son of AP Minister. But the punishment is same for all for their wrongs. Though Susheel denied the complaint, the CC TV camera caught him red handed. Avoid Minister's action to protect his son. He deserves the punishment.

Shampa Sadhya answered the question Missing emotions in today's movies ....Can be related to our real life?.
Presently, people are self centric for this I will not blame their attitude only but the present state of living is equally responsible for it. Everyone is struggling for existence and naturally, emotion is taking a back seat while practicality is controlling the human heart. Thus, mind is ruling over the heart and the movies to some extent are the reflection of real life and therefore, it shows less emotion in it.
