It is clear that MGSingh is living in a world of his own creation.  In it the core issue is Muslims. He sees them everywhere and they are patently anti-national. It is really sad that he has never come across a single Muslim who loves India. If he were to come across, his orientation would make him dismiss it as a put on. He wants us to believe that muslims of Pakistan were against its creation and Indian muslims were for it.  Wrong pooulation in wrong country. And he is supported by some members. It is their choice but surely logic is going for a toss.

He feels much better after he started taking this limited quantity of beer for almost a year or longer now..So there is no final say in the matter ! it very much depends on the individual !   Drinking beer is good for our kideneys. Beer can keep our kidneys healthy. Drinking beer reduces the risk of developing stones by 40%.

The family who do not ask dowry for conducting marriage is really a great family. The members in such families are broad minded and kind heartened. I am sure that the girls who have luck to enter in such families can lead happy life. But very few families have such mentality. Most of the families think that conducting marriage by asking high dowry is a way to earn money for their private purposes.

Shampa Sadhya said thank you to rambabu for his/her reply to the topic Can anyone tell how dowry has been created at first..

Earlier mostly bridegroom parents used to take the responsibility so the bride parents used to help them by giving little amount. later with time it became compulsory for bride parents to give dowry and even became in such a way bride groom parents started demanding Now the situation is changing. It is true, groom's parents demand dowry and the Bride's parents have to oblige. But do you know that there are parents who offer dowry, even if the groom's parents do not demand dowry. Such parents think not offering Dowry is below their prestige. In my case, I neither gave dowry for my two daughters nor accepted dowry for my son. There may be people like me who married their sons and daughters without dowry. @rambabu There are many such families who fix marriage without dowry and among such weddings many of them are traditional arranged marriages too. I got married without dowry and my brothers too got married without dowry and all these were arranged marriages. We need to change our mentality and dowry system will get abolished.     I'm in total agreement with you. You set an example by  marrying without dowry Dowry is a social evil.Good things should start from home.

I was/am against this practice and so conveyed my opinion about this system before marriage to my parents and other elders. I was absolutely adamant of not giving dowry while getting married so were my brothers against taking dowry during their marriages.

Too much of anything is an intoxication so one needs to learn to be in control That is my view too...if one likes to have a drink now and then within limits no harm done as long as it remains so and does not become an addiction ! @usha manohar Neither you nor I am promoting the habit of drinking. When habit becomes addiction then it is definitely harmful otherwise it's not a point of concern. Actually, I have noticed that those who do not drink, always try to demean those who drink but they must understand that whoever drinks is not a drunkard. They are drunkards who cannot limit their consumption of alcohol. Every office party arranges drinks so how can one name it as army culture. Such statements are full of prejudice. I am guessing that, it is called army culture because they could buy it  in their canteens even when there was restriction for others..However, I know scores of elderly people well into their late seventies , in my own town who take one or two drinks every evening and live a very fit, active life . So, it has to do with the individual, lifestyle choices and general health of the person. Well, I get it now why it is considered as army culture. By the way we cannot change viewpoint and if we try to do so then we will be termed as the advocates of drinking culture.

For any crime or murder drinking is the main reason I fully agree with you, yes you are 100% right, most of the reason behind accidents and rape cases is from alcohol consumption

There are many women in India who uses their rights in bad ways to manipulate their mother-in-law and father-in-law which should be stopped. and especially in India when there is a case about women the police have very soft corner for them and they don' treat them as they treat boys in comparison of girls.
