The issue is that some British company document shows Rahul Gandhi as British citizen. Ethics Committee of parliament has issued a notice. Let us hope that the issue will be resolved shortly. It is for Rahul Gandhi to give appropriate reply which will be duly considered and an appropriate action taken. Till then we have to wait.

Just now Lord Desai is on TV and he says Mallya can only be brought back under the extradation treaty in case he is tried in India ( even in absentia) and convicted and up to the appeal stage to the Supreme Court his plea is rejected. So that is the law. A trial in India tales 20 years or even more, so friends just twiddle your thumbs. That is the law.

It is easy for an honest citizen but for fake citizens it is not that easy since they have to provide address proof and also give a photograph and this when it is used for all transactions , blows their cover away at some stage or the other

yes I read it, it is about citizenship of Sonia Gandhi. My question is about Rahul Gandhi. His father Rajeev Gandhi was and India and he was took birth in India, what is his citizenship, forgot about Italian law.
The question here is whether he has a British Passport...not about his fathers status !

Khadi and Indian Independence movement have an age old connection so if it gets promoted then it will be a boost to the Khadi industry. Even Khadi reflects Indian tradition so wearing Khadi on any day will be very much symbolic. The best part is, this fabric is not of substandard quality then what is the problem if one has to wear it on a certain day. Other than defence and paramilitary there are some limited companies which have a dress code then what's the harm if the government employees are asked to wear Khadi on Friday and that too it won't be made compulsory.
