Modi is doing his best, but the lower rungs of BJP must understand stakes involved.. Also Modi needs to be assertive. In case he had suspended the bjp MLA at one go, his stàture in India and world would have risen manifold.     First of all for an elected rep to be suspended there shd be very strong reason and evidence for which time is required, one cannot always go by media, evidence as was seen in kanhaiyas case and at that time the same people felt that the action taken was hasty... Suspension ofMLA is only by legislature. Modi could have suspended from party. What a strong message it would have been.

How you address comes next.  When you dress in a bizarre way or behave differently, you attract attention and remarks.  It is not nice to comment on what some body wears but there is no way out.  There is a sound advice in Punjabi- Eat what you like but dress what others like.   Then one has to be in ghongat only.  No. Ghoongat only for the newly wed and that too only in presence of elderly visitors.  No need for ghoonghat all the time. This is just a formality. Mostly women don't wear ghoonghat even in presence of elders. But for a newly wed this is considered desirable for at least first year.  After first year the daughter-in-law is free to wear whatever they want because only the first year demands decency. This is pathetic. I believe in a decent dressing sense and that can be either in Indian traditional attires as well as in western dresses. Even in Indian dresses one can dress up very indecently so why to make this fuss about dresses. Having gonghat and bitching elders can go together but not taking gonghat and paying respect to the elders do not match in your opinion, right?

vijay replied to the topic Let us also try natural cure.
The initiator of the post said that alternative medicines should be also tried to treat ailments. When one is suffering from cough and colds or kidney stones or stomach pain or bleeding etc which yogic asana will help him at that point. That was the reference point. You can go to any length to prove me wrong. It gives you pleasure, carry on.

India may have to face West Indies and in his devastating form Gayle can blow India out of the World Cup. Now pl do not say that West Indies are not in India group. Also pl do not decide what members who eat curd and rice want to discuss.

The speech is no doubt wonderful but will his own party men understand it and even partially follow it. It is they who dilute his message and programs at regular intervals.

In what way Chris Gayle will decide who will win the World Cup, when West Indies is not in India's group ? But i think if the gayle strom continues to fire like that then it will be impossible for other teams to win this world cup.   Why talk about other teams? We are discussing about the chances of winning the World cup by India

Shampa Sadhya wrote: Yes, I heard the speech and I must admit that it was wonderful. Modi is a pragmatic leader and is one of the best in India, but apart from him there is no other leader of stature in BJP. Thus everything is on his shoulders.
