First of all, let me thank you for providing a good link that enabled me to know all about Bharat Mata and the related History.
In this regard, I'm of the firm opinion that how our Sinister Politicians are making noise on a thing which is of no importance
This Country needs much more than Bharat Mata. There are more issues to think and act like economic condition and how to boost it for the development of this Country.
Correct, " Bharat Mata ki Jai " is a mere slogan and there are pressing needs of the nation than discuss this topic.Talking of Owaisi, I have seen his videos on YouTube and he has always defended India in interviews in Pakistan.

I agree with you. The concerned BJP M.L.A should be punished under the Prevention of cruelty to animals act 1960. Above all BJP should break the silence and and condemn the the concerned M.L.A's heinous act.
Sadly it has not happened and many people ask me what has happened to the BJP teh party of " right governance and rule of law". Such acts will reflect in the elections. Even my driver is shocked at this incident. If he can be concerned, there are millions of others. We thought the BJP would lead forward as per the Hindu Concept of " Dharma" from the clutches of Congress rule, but it has not happened. This is only one incident and there are tens of others. Bihar may be repeated !!! who knows

Inquilab Zindabad, Jai Hind and Bharat Mata ki Jai were the slogans during independence movement. But what is bharat mata (mother India). why some people are opposed to the concept of Bharat Mata. Is chanting slogan- Bharat Mata ki Jai- the only way to express patriotism. Here is link giving history of the Bharat Mata concept.

Man is born free but everywhere he is in chains. No chains are stronger than that of religion- be this any- Hindu, Islam or Christian. Your religion and beliefs are already decided even before your birth. One can be free only if he denounces religion and turns atheist.

It is not nice to comment on what some body wears but there is no way out. There is a sound advice in Punjabi- Eat what you like but dress what others like.
Then one has to be in ghongat only.
No. Ghoongat only for the newly wed and that too only in presence of elderly visitors. No need for ghoonghat all the time. This is just a formality. Mostly women don't wear ghoonghat even in presence of elders. But for a newly wed this is considered desirable for at least first year.
After first year the daughter-in-law is free to wear whatever they want because only the first year demands decency. This is pathetic. I believe in a decent dressing sense and that can be either in Indian traditional attires as well as in western dresses. Even in Indian dresses one can dress up very indecently so why to make this fuss about dresses. Having gonghat and bitching elders can go together but not taking gonghat and paying respect to the elders do not match in your opinion, right?
Ghoonghat is a very short period formality and not a norm even for whole year. Now virtually there is no ghoonghat but wearing this just for some time is symbolic and need not be bothered too much. These days, there are only nuclear families and occasion to display ghoonghat is very rare and symbolic and not even inconvenient. As a matter of fact, even the groom and bride groom dress appears uncomfortable but that is worn on day of marriage.
