Dr. Simran Kaur created new article Know Everything, regarding Causes and Symptoms, of Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Have you listened about, syndrome named Irritable bowel syndrome? If yes, then do you know, what are its causes, which cause its symptoms and do you know, what are those symptoms, which constitutes this syndrome called irritable bowel syndrome? If you know, answers to above questions that is very good of you that you are such a knowledge rich person. But, for some reasons, if you do not know; then do not worry; you will get your answers here, in this article, one by one.
So, first questions was, have you listened about, irritable bowel syndrome? If your answer to this question is no; then your answer regarding, what is irritable bowel syndrome, is here in next sentence. Irritable bowel syndrome is a syndrome, which affect gastro-intestinal system and dysfunction it and make a individual suffer, from a set of symptoms, which constitutes this syndrome. But, before I tell you, which symptoms are those; first get answer to second question, of 1st paragraph of this article and that is, what are causes of this syndrome, which causes symptoms of this syndrome. Well the causes responsible are-
1) Stress and age factor- Stress these days is cause of, so many diseases and irritable bowel syndrome is, not exempted from it. So, people who get stressed easily than other people; get affected from it early than other. Usually it is seen that females take stress easily. So, most of the patients of, this syndrome are females. People of teen-age and who are approaching their late 20s are its victim, too. But, why this specific age, suffer more? Well, it suffer because of cause, called stress. Yes, stress of getting settled in career, in this age period, is at its supreme; therefore, count of this syndrome sufferer, is at its supreme multiplication, in this age span.
2) Food allergy- Yes, food allergy is very important factor, among its certain victims of, this syndrome. Yes, certain victims, who get suffered from this syndrome, neither suffer from stress nor fall under age group mentioned, under cause number 1. They only suffer from food allergy, which cause them suffer from diarrhea predominant type of, this syndrome.
So, enough about cause of this syndrome, next comes, answer to third question; what are symptoms of this syndrome, which constitutes this syndrome? Well those are-
1) Abdominal pain, before frequent watery stools- Yes, no doubt, victim of this syndrome, suffer from frequent watery stool episodes; but, before their frequent watery stool, episodes start; they have abdominal pain and this pain get vanished, as soon as frequent watery stool episodes start. Usually, it is found that when frequent stool episodes start; there arise urgency to evacuate stool urgently, as it is difficult to stop; but after evacuation, problem is not sorted because it feels that there is till some stool left inside, which needs evacuation.
2) Abdominal distension with alternate diarrhea and constipation- Victim of this syndrome, usually feel gas in their abdomen and not all victim of this syndrome, suffer from frequent stools. Some suffer from constipation and some from alternate diarrhea and constipation. When victim suffer from diarrhea episodes, in this syndrome; then victim is on frequent watery stools episodes. But, when victim suffer from constipation episodes during this syndrome; then victim gets infrequent hard stools, with very difficulty; which require too much straining, to get evacuated.

Babu saroj created new article Democracy is the best form of government .
‘Government of the people, by the people’ – this is a patent and ubiquitous definition of democracy. The other two alternative forms of equal universal validity are oligarchy and aristocracy. Of the three, democracy is by far the best and most popular, although it is not an unmixed blessing.
Yet, all said, democracy is the best form of government, as it guards the interests of men in general. It avoids the evils and demerits both of aristocracy which empowers a privileged section of society to run the state, and of oligarchy in which only a few men or groups of men arrogate to themselves the right to rule over others. It is elective, representative and broad-based.
In the earlier days of the European civilization, the roman republic was founded on popular voice. It was a crude form of democracy. The popular or mass opinion is a fickle phenomenon, as it can be swayed in one’s favour by the legerdemain of arguments. In Julius Caesar, Shakespeare has revealed this truth in the speech of Mark Antony who banished all logic of Brutus by an artful play of sentiments. The same farce of mass support the dramatist presents in another play Coriolanus – there the popular will or voice is mocked at dramatically. It changes sides like weathercock.
Modern democracy is decidedly more solid and well thought out. In it the constitution is supreme; it may be a written constitution, as in India, or an unwritten one, as in Britain. Our preamble to be the constitution grants even an ordinary man some fundamental rights; the right to vote is given to all after an age of maturity and the affairs of the state are run, ultimately, by the people of the country. Its laws are framed towards the attainments of a welfare state. The neglected sections of the society, its underdogs, so to say, are given certain privileges so that they are able to catch up with the rest.
One remembers the hoary days of independence. Independence, the five year plans, the illustrious cadres of service that was defined as the steel-frame of administration; one remembers the devoted band of society workers, the congress, the CPI or CPI(M), the SSP that functioned in tandem; and one remembers the healthy bourgeois culture, pluralistic, tolerant soaked in brotherly feelings.
But today the country faces a crisis ridden with intolerance, doubt, lies to shield power, bribes where money changes hands to protect covert crimes. Entrenched power runs havoc with a massacre of values, honesty and integrity. The nation’s political fabric is a ragbag of opportunism, personal convenience, nepotism and what not. The parliament, that was once a cynosure for the ordinary men, is today a hothouse of disreputable personae mostly. In a republic like the USA one ‘bugging scandals’ could cause the stepping down of its president and in Japan one core could bring down its prime minister. But here such scandals are worth only casual attention.
In view of the above scenario ‘democracy’ as it obtains in our country, lives only as a platitude with our leaders to befool us during elections. Our constitution is the greatest casualty in the hands of the power that be. Free thinking, freedom of information, need of labour – to wish privileges that form the bedrock of a democratic government is but to live in a fool’s paradise! The high court and the Supreme Court run the administration.
Democracy as an ideology is by far the best, but heaven protect us from such a democracy.

Babu saroj created new article Society is influenced more by show than by substances.
‘Show’ and ‘Substances’ are universally opposed concepts, and have passed into common parlance. But they require a brief expounding. ‘Show’ here implies attractive and tempting elements while ‘substances’ stands for internal qualities or elements of virtue. The opposition between the two is too obvious for explanation. Real substance might, and does, influence individuals, but very rarely a society. The latter is an assorted conglomerate or a compact of individuals bound by a common interest that is conducive to a healthy living. Society, such as this, can never remain ever alert against the elements of show and glamour, especially in this age of consumerism. I shall, better, point it through a personal experience.
I live with my parents in a city of some significance. Our block has a nondescript character, and my father’s flat is the odd man out, he being a genuine scholar and totally given to studies and reflections. In the ground floor the owner has joined the two contiguous flats and remodelled the original layout. It houses two institutes imparting training in English language and computers. Its smart polish and modern outfit, chic and bright frontage and tall claims on the signboard “language of letters and computers” began to draw aspiring learners. Our next-door neighbour, a family dominated by dandy girls, contributed the earliest lot among students. There is little distinction to be made between its teachers and taught, as they are all pronouncedly affected by consumer-culture or consumerism as mentioned earlier. It seems to have been a good going affair, regardless of what the pupils learn or have to unlearn.
In one storey down below our flat lives a newly married couple – a new tenant with a bachelor chap who seems to be the man’s brother. I was feeling drawn towards the institute, being swayed by its multiplying strength; but my father looks evidently cross with the pass of things there. He often tells mother to guard me from the shows and pomp – that is no better than tinsel coating on modern buildings. My parent’s language and sense of values pass over my head, and I shelve my desires.
I saw one day Anantada, the bachelor young man in the flat below, snubbing the director of the institute. The latter, dressed from head to foot like the latest specimen of modern haberdashery, comes in a Matiz car. All these brilliantly seem to justify his shamelessly bold designation of a ‘Director’. The scene – that such a great personality takes Anantada’s rebukes docilely like a dull student – holds me in suspense. No wonder that my wounded sense of propriety becomes eager to probe into the matter. But I have no credential with Anantada. He is much my senior and too observed in something serious.
However matters change. One morning father enters our house with a paper and shows my mother Anantada’s photo as a successful candidate in the Delhi IIT test. By evening the news sends a fanfare of congratulations and praises. Anantada seems choked as the girls of our block raid him with such praises. The climax! In the evening the same ‘Director’, the same Matiz and the same apologetic bend!
Anantada respects my father, and I go to him with sweets; I overcome my initial hesitation and ask him about the funny scene I have narrated earlier. He says that he served the institute for a short stint; the girls sniffed at him for his mean dress and poor appearance and to top it all, the ‘Director’ had proposed to tailor for him a presentable dress in the class. In consequence he had resigned and the attendance slumped, as their computer-coach is a good-for-nothing fellow. The ‘Director’ that day approached him to join on his (Anantada’s) terms. He had snubbed and refused.

MG Singh created new article Donald Trump and his Anti Moslem Stand.
Many people are astounded that Donald Trump has been vociferously denouncing Islam and the terrorism connected with it. Many fail to utter a word against Muslim terrorism and talk in general terms about terror. Such people would not like that Islam be identified with terrorism. To these people the approach of Donald Trump is difficult to fathom. They wonder how this man fervently denounces Islam and holds it as the fountain head of terror activities in the world.
Donald Trump is a billionaire businessman who is aspiring to get the GOP nomination for presidential election. These elections are slated this year and the crucial meeting will be in November when the Republican convention will take place to decide on the GOP nominee. Trump is aiming to get the maximum number of delegates, so that he can win the nomination. As on date out of 15 states where party elections have taken place, Trump is the winner in 10 of them. He is way ahead of his nearest rivals Ted Cruz and Rubio.
What is the reason that a man like Trump is leading the race for the GOP nomination? The reason is simple as this man has come with an agenda to restore American pride and as part of that has picked on Muslim terror. He is clear that the greatest danger to America is Islamic terror. The present president Barack Muhammed Obama has left things to meander and overall treated terror groups with kid gloves. He failed to identify Islam as a source of terror. Maybe he had a personal agenda, as his father was a Muslim and he also attended a Madrasa, religious Islamic school for 2 years. Trump has attacked Obama and this has gone down well with the American people.
America is in a stage of ferment. Attacks by Muslim terror groups like the twin trade towers bombings, Boston race and the California killings have alarmed the common man. Donald has played on these fears and promised stern action against Muslims all over the world and even those settled for decades in America. His words have had a reassuring effect on the common American who feels Trump may be the man America needs.
Donald Trump has not minced his words and has threatened to take the war to the Muslim lands, where terrorist groups, like ISIS have sanctuary. His other proposals are equally revolutionary. He has proposed that there needs to be a total ban on Muslims entering the USA. This is a brazen statement and shows the bent of mind of the GOP contender. Alistair Maclean wrote " Fear is the Key". This is a commodity that Trump treats with disdain. The reaction of the Muslim world holds no terror for him. This is in sharp contrast to India where the people and the government are loathe to connect Islam with terrorism. So much so that TADA and POTA were scrapped as these acts offended the Muslims in India.
Trump has also proposed to arrest all Muslims in USA and inter them in camps, till they can prove their innocence. Many Americans find this proposal distasteful. But Trump has pointed out that he is proposing nothing new. He has pointed out that president Roosevelt had during World War II ordered the confinement of all Japanese who lived in the USA, yet he is considered a great president. Roosevelt was President of USA during the war years and died in 1945, towards the fag end of the war.
Trump has got the feel of the pulse of the American citizen. This has led him to propose some radical steps. He has proposed a reciprocal treatment to all Jehadi outfits. He feels these organization's only understand the language of force. Trump says he will authorize forms of torture like water boarding for captured terrorists. He will also allow reprisals against the families of terrorists. It should be like the old code of Hummarabi- an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. Trump thus has his priorities clear. He feels Islam is the greatest danger to America. This is a view that has gone down well with the American people.
Trump also does not advocate a withdrawal from Afghanistan. His thinking is revolutionary as he feels America must remain in Afghanistan to protect the Pakistan nukes. Obviously he does not have much confidence in Pakistan and its ability to safeguard their nuclear arsenal. He feels the Pakistan nukes at some stage may well fall in the hands of Muslim Jehadi groups.
Trump is on the rise. These are early days and anything can happen as another 35 states have still to vote. Trump has however shown guts in attacking Islam as the source of all terror. I wonder if anybody in India can emulate Trump. There is no doubt that Trump is a man with a mission. It will be interesting to see if he can win the GOP nomination. The biggest opposition to a Trump nomination is from within the party itself. The 'old guard' led by Mitt Romney( he was the GOP candidate in the 2012 election) are against his nomination. Yet Donald Trump may surprise them.

Babu saroj created new article men and women should have equal rights.
The topic is almost a platitude today. Its basic concept cannot be denied and in the present day context the equality of status between the two genders is no longer a debatable issue. On the contrary aggression, presumptuous behaviour among women sometimes overawes society. One feels that the age-old classifications of ‘patriarchal’ and ‘matriarchal’ society need to be redefined.
Men have dominated, nay, even exploited their superior status through centuries. Some tribes like the Amazonians or some African ethnic varieties and aboriginals in the North-East of India are matriarchal. But, perhaps, their women domination does not betray that kind of atrocity of human behaviour as in cases of male domination.
In short, women are still in the darker side of the penumbra. But their awakening today cannot be gainsaid, although undoubtedly our society lacks the courage and charity to concede them their rights in the parliament.
Women have been grossly neglected in the race for life through social injustice and because of rank social laws and customs. But today they are not content to remain indoors. The greater world of life and light has drawn them out of their dark confinement, and they have struck. The renaissance has changed and is still changing the complexion of the nations ‘Socio-political’ life. ‘fast-food’, ‘fast-life’ – a characteristic phrase of today that is used with a slighting sneer – is, in fact, a sequel to this changed life. Women rub shoulders with men in offices, games and agitations, and in consequence, Kitchen-culture is not able to retain its old essence.
In ‘Matrimonies’, too, the equality in status is becoming a staggering reality for the old-livers in values. Boys seek working girls, girl’s interview boys; new relationships are spawned like ‘living together’ or ‘together yet separate’.
How this feature of ‘equality-in-status’ is emerging is a great matter for sociological research, no doubt. But the goal is yet afar. It will not do merely to concede rights to the weaker section. The great need is for a consciousness among them of their importance in society. They need to be educated, to be initiated into the great truth that their enlightenment is the first and foremost step in the building of a healthy civilization.
Another important facet of the issue needs emphasis. The phrase in the proposed question is not as innocent as it looks. The rudiment of civics entails that rights and responsibilities are interrelated; it applies to both sexes. Here the males appear to be defaulters. Right to families, in institutions, to education, to justice and many other bodies that constitute our life at large in the world imply also duties and responsibilities towards the same. Women have long been relegated into the shunt-yard in life’s journey. They have borne silently this dumb cattle-like existence. But now there is a thaw, a deluge that has broken into their suicidal sleep.
It is impossible to bring about this ‘equation’ as in the two halves in a sum of equation. The ‘plus-minus’ factor is here inevitable. The days are not far – it may be a century or half a century – when the neglected and harassed partner in the race would ride rough shod over its other half. It is not due to any revolution. It is the law of evolution that had as its watchwords ‘the struggle for existence’ and ‘the survival of the fittest’. No longer can men bask in their rights; they have to be vigilant lest women steal a march on them. And in this vigilance will thrive to a balance and harmony that is the most ideal kind of existence.

MG Singh created new article The Flawed Politics of Secularism in India.
In 1947 the creation of Pakistan heralded the success of the two nation theory. Ipso facto, the Indian political leadership led by Gandhi and Nehru also accepted this theory. The concept of Pakistan ( land of the pure) was put forward by the Urdu poet Iqbal. He was of the view that Hindus and Muslims were separate entities and could not live together. Ironically Iqbal is the same poet who wrote the lovely poem" saray jahan se acha Hindustan hamara.....". Mohamed Ali Jinnah though a secular leader for political expediency accepted the concept of Iqbal and demanded a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent. He claimed to be leader of the Muslims, just as he considered Gandhi a leader of the Hindus. The creation of Pakistan broke the back of India as a united nation. It also sowed the seeds of a perpetual Hindu- Muslim conflict.
Pakistan opted to become an Islamic Republic, as per the terms of its origin. India logically should have been declared a Hindu Rashtra, but Gandhi - Nehru combine opted for a secular state. They roped in an untouchable Hindu convert to Buddhism Baba Saheb Ambedkar, to draft the constitution. The constitution brought in secular idea as well as many other revolutionary concepts.
The constitution in its directive principles and preamble stated that India would be a secular state. In addition it enjoined on the government to enact a common civil code. It also brought in reservation for a limited period in jobs and educational institutes for the scheduled castes and tribes. This in a way was a good attempt at social engineering as these castes had for long been at the bottom of Hindu society and were exploited in the extreme. Dr. Ambedker was a clever man and and he incorporated a provision in the constitution that allowed later governments to add to the backward castes. This is considered a master stroke by Ambedkar to divide the Hindu religion. Keeping this proviso in the constitution, successive Congress governments expanded the concept of the backward castes, by including a term " other Backward Caste", which in many cases included castes who were relatively well off.
In 1947 when India became free the Congress led by Nehru became the vehicle to govern India. Nehru missed a golden opportunity to unite India as he was India's best known leader. He however in all his actions was governed by a Muslim bias, that translated into giving Muslims a preferential treatment. One cannot understand Nehru's actions in this matter. Some historians who have dug up the past of Nehru have concluded that perhaps Nehru's ancestry was Muslim. It is now brought out that Nehru's grandfather was a Muslim and a Kotwal during the reign of Bahadur Shah Zafar. In 1857, with Bahadur Shah defeated and on the run, Nehru's grandfather escaped from Delhi to avoid being caught and shot by the English. He later converted to Hinduism and took the surname Nehru from the word Nehar( Canal). There is another bit of speculative information that however cannot be vouchsafed as genuine. This information is the Nehru and Sheikh Abdullah were step brothers as Motilal Nehru had a Kashmiri woman consort.
All this is just rumor, but the fact is that right from 1947, Nehru had a soft corner for the Muslims left behind in India. We must rememebr that Indian Muslims were the biggest supporters of the concept of a Muslim state as articulated by Iqbal. In fact the Muslims of present day Pakistan were not enamoured of the concept of Iqbal. In Punjab the party in power was not the Muslim League but a loose conglomoration of Sikhs and Muslims ( National party). In the NWFP the party in power was the Congress led by Khan Ghafoor and in Sind, with a large Hindu population, very few wanted Pakistan. Baluchistan in any case was independent. Probably Nehru was aware of the psyche of the Muslims left behind and wanted to placate them.
The first brush that favored the Muslim community was the passage of the Hindu Marriage act in 1955. This put an end to 4000 year of Hindu personal law, where polygamy was accpted with no divorce for the Hindu woman. This was a revolutionary law as it enforced monogamy and granted the right of divorce and more important maintenance for the divorced wife. Nehru did not pass a similar law for the Muslism who were allowed to carry on their personal law as enshrined in the Sharia.
Nehru was advised to extend the Marriage Act of 1955 to Muslims, but he refused. He refused to consider the example of Goa, where the Portuguese had enforced a common civil code and the Sharia had been completely negated. He also refused to take a leaf from Kemal Mustapha the Turkish leader who had outlawed the Sharia and all forms of Muslim religious schools. Nehru ignored the Directive Principles of the Constitution which had laid down the need for a common civil code. This action of Nehru did grave harm to the Indian nation as the Muslims were given a seperate identity. Over the years successive Congress governments have not thought it fit to tackle polygamy and unjust laws like triple talaq. This has had its repurcussions and the Muslim population which was 9.9% in 1947 has now grown to 14.1% in 2011. One of the reasons is multiple marriages and the need to have more children.
In 1959, it was brought to the attention of Nehru by Muslim leaders that the Haj allowance needed to be enhanced. The Haj subsidy was started by the British in 1922. It's aim was to create a rift between Hindus and Muslims. Nehru should have been alert and abolished this subsidy, but we now know he enhanced it. Over the years this subsidy has been periodically enhanced and as per the 2009 figures, the subsidy now is Rs 8.6 billion. This is a tidy sum and could have been better utilized for education of Muslim women who are a most discriminated lot.
Nehru was approached to have a similar subsidy for the Hindus and Sikhs who go on pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Mansarovar in Tibet and the Sikh holy places in Pakistan. He rejected this idea of a subsidy for Sikh and Hindu pilgrims.
In 2012, the Supreme Court of India observed that the Haj subsidy had outlived its utility. It recommended phasing out this subsidy by 2022. What a charade this subsidy is. One wonders how in independent India the Muslims can be given a Haj subsidy, when a similar subsidy is denied to Hindus and Sikhs. in fact in no other country in the world is this sort of subsidy given. A look at the past shows that the Congress government went out of its way to please the Muslims. Earlier all Muslims going on Haj went by the sea route in ships. In 1963, the Congress government felt that the Muslims must get the benefit of air travel. The Haj visits by ship was stopped and substituted by air travel. During the Haj period the entire Air India fleet was put at the disposal of Muslim pilgrims making the trip to Mecca for Haj.
Nehru also left the Muslim system of education untouched. Needless to say this system of education in Madrasa's is alien to the secular concept enshrined in the constitution. Thes Muslim schools preach the superiority of Islam and in fact have no place in a secular republic. That is the reason Kemel Mustapha in 1924 at one stroke abolished Muslim schools in Turkey. He had realised that in case Turkey is to move forward, such religious schools have no place. One expected a farsighted acton by Nehru on this matter, but as usual he sat twiddling his thumbs and in the bargain missed a great historical opportunity to unite India
The Congress governments after the demise of Nehru were on shaky ground as they felt that they may lose the elections. So they decided to build up vote banks and at every opportunity acted in a manner that pampered the Muslim community. As late as 1987, the Congress leader Rajiv Gandhi overturned the Supreme Court decision on maintenance ( Shah Bano Case) for divorced women by amending the constitution as he had a 2/3rd majority. This was an extremely retrograde step and Rajiv Gandhi harmed millions of Muslim women as he tried to build a vote bank among Muslims.
Earlier Nehru also allowed his minority bias to overturn a legitimate accession to India by maharajah Hari Singh of Kashmir , by bringing in Article 370 in the constitution. He wished to keep the Muslim majority status intact in the valley. No Indian was permitted to buy land or settle in Kashmir.
The wheel has now turned full circle and the Congres has time and again passed laws that are retrograde and favor the Muslims. The aim as I have said is to build up vote banks. This was blatent during the regime of the puppet of Sonia Gandhi, ManMohan Singh. At that time in 2005 a devious move was made by the Congress government to increase representation of Muslims in the arrmed forces, but the Army top brass opposed it tooth and nail and the Congress could not have its way. But in Congress ruled states 5% reservation was introduced for Muslims. This is not mentioned in the constitution which talks only off reservation on basis of caste. It was passed in Mahrashtra also, but with the defeat of the Congress, the new BJP government has shelved it.
The Congress governments have also been playing with security matters and giving it a different angle. They have tried to pin the Gujarat riots on Modi, forgetting that the biggest carnage of over 10,000 Sikhs was carried out by the Congress party under express orders of the higher ups in 1984.
India is at the cross roads as we await a leader to lead India forward. It is the bane of India that Nehru and Congress party appeared on the scene. This will remain a dark age for India. Certainly things could have been much better in case India was one and the leaders had thought of the greatness of India.

MG Singh created new article Spy Mission over Pakistan 1959:: Betrayed.
Background
The world of spy missions cannot fail to thrill anyone. I am also thrilled by spy missions and the spy mission by Captain Francis Gary Powers over the Soviet Union is one such tale.India also has its fair share of similar missions and a look back into history will reveal many of them. The one mission that immediately comes to mind is the 1959 spy mission over Pakistan.
In 1954, Pakistan brought its hate of India to a new pitch and joined the Baghdad Pact and SEATO (South East Asian Treaty Organization). The purpose of these pacts was to ring Soviet Russia, but Pakistan joined them to get an edge over India. The Baghdad pact collapsed in 1958, when Lt General Kassam, carried out a military coup and executed the Royal family of Iraq. The USA replaced it with CENTO( Central Treaty Organization). Pakistan continued to be a member of CENTO as well.
The membership of the pacts was a godsend for Pakistan as the USA gave it the most modern hardware in aircraft and guns. The PAF was given the F-104 supersonic interceptor and Infra Red sight enabled Patton Tanks. In addition, the USA constructed secret hangers at Peshawar, Sargodha and Sialkot. These were supposed to be bomb proof. Two of the hangers were constructed underground.
The Indian think tank was worried at these developments and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Mukherjee informed the defense minister at that time Krishna Menon. He is a much maligned defense minister in India, but even now people are not aware that in reality, he was a man of mettle. Krishna Menon was the man who opted for Russian aircraft, when the west totally refused to help India. It was Menon's diplomacy that carried the day and India was able to get the MIG-21.
Menon agreed with the air chief, that a reconnaissance mission was the need of the hour. It was proposed that a photo recce Canberra Mk I of 106 Squadron would take off from one of the forward airfields in Punjab and fly over Pakistan and photograph the hangers at Peshawar, Sargodha and Sialkot. The flight was expected to last only about 10 minutes and all were confident that the mission would be a success.
The Mission
Due to the very nature of the mission, it was known only to 3/4 senior officers. They included the Defense Minister and Chief of Airstaff. Nehru was kept in the picture by Menon.
The IAF chose the 10th of April, as it was the day of Ramadan and everybody was confident that the mission would be a success. The air force selected 2 intrepid pilots in Squadron Leader Sengupta and Flight Lieutenant Rampal (Navigator). The aircraft to be used was the Canberra Mark I which had high resolution cameras.
Unfortunately one of the senior minority officers who was in a honey trap with a Pakistan woman, leaked the entire flight plan to the lady who transmitted it to Pakistan. This was a godsend for the PAF. Unknown, that they had been betrayed by their own officer, the 2 IAF pilots took of in fair weather for the mission. It is a moot point that nobody remembers this brave duo, while Gary Powers name is chanted all over as a super CIA spy.
Just as the plane entered Pakistan airspace, Sengupta was aghast to see a Pakistan Air Force F-86( sabre jet) already airborne and approaching the Canberra with all guns ablaze. The PAF wanted a kill and was taking no chances as in a few minutes the plane would have entered back to Indian air space. The fact that the Sabre jet was already airborne, convinced Sengupta that PAF knew about the mission. Unfortunately he could do nothing as the plane was unarmed.
The Canberra was hit and caught fire. Sengupta held on for a few minutes, till Rampal bailed out and then he ejected. Both pilots ejected from a height of 45000 ft and it is a tribute to their professionalism that they landed. Both suffered multiple injuries and were taken by the PAF to their hospital at Lahore. Radio Pakistan broadcast the downing of the Indian spy plane and it was a great propaganda boost for them.
By evening an Indian C47 landed in Lahore and brought the crew back to India. It was a body blow and Krishna Menon cut a sorry figure.
Aftermath
The Air Force top brass and the defense minister were surprised as to how the information could have leaked to Pakistan and an inquiry was carried out. It was easy to pinpoint the culprit,a minority senior officer who was dismissed, but the damage had been done. India claimed the plane had inadvertently entered Pakistan air space and it was wrong for the PAF to have shot it down.
However it was a morale boost for the PAF and even now they talk about it. The Indians were demoralized and for quite some time Nehru never allowed any similar mission. The two pilots Sengupta and Rampal recovered, but not much is heard about them. In fact there is no mention about them even in the History of the IAF. It is typical of Indians not to honor or remember any body for bravery. In my book these men are rated high and the fact that they bailed out at a height of 45000 ft, is by itself a great feat.

Dr. Simran Kaur created new article 8 Facts about Osteoporosis that you should be, Aware of in General.
Osteoporosis is a structural anomaly of bones, which occur in old age; due to different causes. Yes, it not only occur solely, due to aging process; but, has other contributing factors behind its existence, inside human body. Having contributing causes other than aging, is not the only surprising fact that I has told you, just; it has other so many surprising facts, associated with its existence that you must be aware of.
So, you must be wondering, what are those surprising facts, regarding disease osteoporosis that you must be aware of? Well those are-
1) One surprising fact I have told you, in 1st paragraph of article; therefore, no need to repeat that again here.
2) Next comes, 2nd surprising fact that it is not only, caused due to aging factor; but, also has genetic factors, acting behind its existence, too. That is, if any member of your family have history of premature occurrence, of osteoporosis, before 45 years of age; then chances of your getting suffering, from osteoporosis increases. So, is that the only factor, for early osteoporosis occurrence or have other causes too? Well, yes it is has other reason too, one of which I am going to discuss, in next point below.
3) Well, the other reason because of which early osteoporosis, can occur prematurely; is early menopause, before usual age. It does not matter, whether early menopause occurred due to, genetic causes or due to operative causes; if you have early menopause, you are definitely going to, have early osteoporosis.
4) Does osteoporosis have gender deposition, other than age predisposition? Well, yes it has. It occur more among women than men and it not only occur more in women; but it also occur early in women than in men because of early hormonal flow stoppage in women, due to menopause. Babu saroj created new article A tree has blessed us with her immense gifts .
The premise of the above topic has assumed today a universal significance, which has never been so in the history of human civilization. My doctor uncle had once said that a man of sound health becomes aware of part of his body only when that part ails. In other words, he becomes conscious of his hand only when it pains. Similarly, we today have become conscious or say, are becoming conscious of a tree, because it is fast disappearing from our lives.
Good to start with an ancient-India example. The civilizations of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro were aggressively urban. As such there was massive felling of trees and cleaning of forest. Raja Asoka realized this want and resuscitated nature.
Today ‘Vanamahotsava’ of elaborate afforestation is sponsored both by the government and private organizations. The monster of ‘urban’ culture is fast eating up wild nature. We must cry halt to this craze.
What are the gifts of a tree, after all? It gives us shade in summer and rain in season; it preserves the eco-balance by consuming the poisonous gas and stems soil erosion; it yields fruits and medicinal gums and barks. This, however, is only a brief account.
Naturally its preservation is imperative for existence, and the dictum is not denied either. But today human civilization is up against the worst crisis of confidence.
The enlightened nations seem critically aware of the danger involved in massive tree felling. The TV (national geographic and the discovery channels) contributes largely to our understanding the values of a tree. But still the objective recedes. In big cities as well as in mediocre ones we witness ruthless felling of gardens that make room for multi-stories. Reckless and senseless poaches raze to the ground woods after woods – at times even with the connivance of the powers that be! Monkeys or langurs, elephants and other inmates of the forest are driven out of their natural habitat, become berserk and sometimes run amuck the neighbouring towns.
The simple truth is that only by serving and saving nature can we preserve its gifts. Rabindranath Tagore raised Sreeniketan and Santiniketan as examples of natural hermitage. He wished to inculcate in boys a kind of education that shall breathe the natural air! Love and tend the plants and trees. Still there are occasions when these are celebrated, but alas! They have all dwindled into mere rituals – a dead wood of customs.
In our country the picture is indeed dismal. In Kolkata itself nature is the worst victim in her so-called advancement. What is today a lovely garden, paled and protected, falls a prey to the falcon-eye of the realtor tomorrow – and lo! Trees and felled, shrubs put to the scythe. Pilasters, lintels run criss-cross to raise the concrete monster!
Our future generation must look up, for theirs the kingdom. They have to buy back the lovelier world of their forefathers and befriend the trees. No, no government can do this, for government have proved to be venal. They have to do it themselves, individually as well as collectively. The villages where nature thrives must be preserved to weave a harmony between love of nature and love of the new life. Each and every forum of our life and existence has to educate people by inspiration as well as by injecting the fear-psychosis of a life without trees. Or – hark! Global warming knocks at our door!

Reena created new article Karmic Account: Law Of Karma.
Karma means work. It is task that we perform throughout our day. It is not only related to physical aspect but also mental aspect too. The thoughts we create towards others or regarding ourselves in day to day life all includes in karma. Physically we are doing hundreds of tasks daily. It may be our day to day chores or something that is specially meant to be done today. It may be studying, earning, singing, dancing etc..... Same goes with karma created through mind. Main purpose of mind is to think and thus it creates thoughts all the time. These thoughts created can be positive or negative. They can be very useful or completely waste. All these thoughts that we create knowingly or unknowingly is also known as karma is been done. The only thing is that we are not aware with this fact that thinking is also karma and feel that karma is only something that we perform from our physical ability.
Right from morning till night, we keep on doing our tasks. Once the work is done, it is obvious that we will reap its result. Thus, an account is created. This account itself is known as Karmic account. It's like sowing the seeds. After a certain duration we will reap its fruits. If technique of sowing seeds were right, proper care was taken to water it time to time and complete efforts were shown with efficiency, then the yield too will be of high quality. Contrary to this, if no care was taken and the seeds were just dumped on the ground, hardly one could expect any yield to obtain from such an inefficient work that has been carried out. Results are very clear. Good things we do in our lives, bring us a happy future. Bad and evil things bring out the same bad outcome. It's like a pendulum. The amount of force with which we push it in other direction, it will come back to us with the same amount of force. We can't expect the other wise results.
Most of us today often complain and blame others for hard times that we face. We just simply do not understand that it is nothing but pay back of our deeds something we did in our past and from past it can also mean past lives. As we are unaware with the truth, we are in constant conflict with others. We blame others all the time and sometimes we make them pay back as we develop a feeling of revenge for them. This further creates karmic account. Today we are facing hard times because we had done something bad in our past. Instead of accepting it as it is, if we further keep on repeating the same mistake then we will face even more hard times in our future. Say, somebody cheated on us with money. This is because we did the same to him in our past times. Instead of blaming them for the wrong they have done to us, we need to be calm and composed. By being calm and composed does not mean we let others do wrong to us. We can take legal actions against them. We can fight for our rights. However, we should not create any negative thought for them. Lets be compassionate towards them. We have to understand their point of view. The other person has committed a crime and thus he himself is in pain as no one remains happy after anything wrong they do. His conscious allowed him to get involve in such a sin. He is already in pain and lets not increase his pain further by thinking something negative about him. We have to resolve everything we have between us. From our side at least we have to neutralize karmic account and this happens only when we stop spreading negativity from our side.
We get what we deserve. It is a universal truth everyone should understand and believe firmly. Instead of believing in it we try to aim at all those things which we do not get. We can aim in our lives, set particular goals and with sheer determination and hard work, completely focus on our target. If we deserve to get it, we will definitely achieve it. If we do not get it, we have to understand that we were not meant for this achievement. Instead of losing hope, we have to increase our efficiency and work towards our goal with more passion regardless of how many times we fail. Failure is something that never gets tagged to us, unless we ourselves quit. Until and unless we quit, we will never fail. If one door is closed, just look around there are thousands of doors of opportunities waiting for us. We are not able to see them as lots of negativity is filled within us. If we do not succeed at something does not mean we have failed at it. It means something still better is waiting for us at the next stop. We consider one particular goal as best for us. Once we do not reach it, feel miserable and think that everything has ended in life. However, this is not the case. We had in our minds that this is best for us but destiny had planned something else for us and once we open our eyes and see the things clearly, we will realize that we have been offered what we deserved and nothing is more better for us than this.
We should never perform a bad karma neither to others nor to oneself. Never try to cheat, lie or disrespect as everything is going to come back to us. We have to develop goodness in us. This goodness will help us get rid of evil characters like lust, anger, greed, attachment etc..... Once evilness vanishes, it gets replaced by goodness. Evil in us will always demand an eye for an eye. Once someone does something bad to us, we always remain in search of an opportunity to get back to them for a revenge. The other person will feel the same and try to get back to us and in this way karmic account will never end. Goodness in us will help us understand what made us go through all these circumstances. It will help us remain stable in both good and bad times. Being stable means understanding that both our achievements and failures are the yields of our deeds and thus we will stop blaming others for something wrong they did to us.
Karmic account is something that cannot be taken lightly. It has to be taken very seriously. Every second we are creating a karmic account with each and every person we are meeting as well as by thinking about them. It is an account between two individuals. If we do not care about it and continue doing evil deeds then our karmic account so created with each and every individual we meet will not be pleasant. It's just not about physical karma. We often question that we have not done anything wrong to say some person, then why is our relationship with that person not on that level where it has to be. We may not have done anything wrong to him physically. Never have cheated him, ill-treated him or lied to him and say same goes from his side too. Let us now check how our thoughts are about that person. Mind is fleeter than wind. We throughout the day keep thinking and creating so many thoughts. Now we have to check whether our thoughts are of same level as our deeds. We may not do anything physically damaging to that person but are we not thinking a few things about him which we fear if told to him will break the bond. We should never create thoughts which we are unable to express to them in person. These kind of negative thoughts created by us, we feel that it not been sent to them and they do not know what is in our mind because our behavior is very pleasant with them. However, this is not true. Each and every thought of ours reach to that particular person, triggers in them same kind of thinking and when they create same quality of thoughts, it comes back to us and the cycle continues. This is how karmic account is created. The person may not exactly know what we are thinking but will definitely feel the quality. If we do not want to experience anything bad happen to us externally or internally, we need to check on our karma and create positive account with each and every individual we meet in person and also towards them whom we may not have met but we know them through someone.
We often live in a myth that if we worship God and if he gets pleased by our services, we will be forgiven and we need not face outcome of our wrong deeds. Thus, we often donate our offerings to God. We visit spiritual places. We take baths in holy rivers. We read spiritual books. We make sure that we attend each and every spiritual session of our Guru. We torture ourselves in various ways like walking bare foot on the way to spiritual places, keep ourselves starved for days together and do everything that is been told to us to do which can please God and thereby we never have to face consequences of our wrong deeds or else if we are already facing them then try to terminate all at once. Some of them even claim that so and so particular place has power and thus was able to help them come out of their sufferings or fulfilled their wishes, or else so and so particular ritual or sacrifice helped them greatly. Such words spread easily from ear to ear and within no time majority of us get inclined in performing such an act and we make sure that we visit that place at the earliest. We start creating a blind faith. We may get benefited by it. But are we going to get benefited every time we perform such a ritual or make a visit to such a place. If there is power in that place then it has to fulfill wishes of each and every person every time they go. If there is power in any act of ritual or sacrifice that is being made then it has to be effective every time it is been performed. Why do we get positive results sometimes where as rest of the times we do not get any result at all or not as effectively desired results as we wanted? For this too, we very easily blame God. We say that may be God is not with us or he is angry with us. Sometimes we may feel that may be we have not worshiped him or performed rituals with complete devotion or faith.
We must understand that God is Supreme Soul. He is free from all the evil characters and this is what makes him Supreme. He can never be angry. He does not possess any sort of anger and thus will never show a rage to us. It is we who live in illusion and myth. He is an ocean of unconditional live. Unconditional love means he does not differentiate a good person from an evil one. He does not share his love more with a soul who is filled with lots of goodness and punishes an evil person. For him every soul is same. It is we who differentiate and think very narrowly. He neither blesses us nor curses us. He just loves us. Our achievements as well as failures are all outcomes of our deeds. We often owe our good times or achievements to him and say that our success is because of his blessings. Similarly, while we are going through hard phase in our lives or facing constant failures we feel that we are being cursed as God is showing his rage on us and then by making constant efforts try to please Him. Sometimes all of a sudden our problem gets solved and everything seems going perfect and this is the time when our belief in Him gets stronger. We thereby stick to that kind of ritual or make a point that we visit that particular spiritual place without fail. We do not understand that no matter whether we had performed that particular ritual or not, no matter whether we had gone to that spiritual place or not, our problem was going to get solved by this time.
It's all our karmic account. Something bad we do to someone and in return we too have to experience it back whether we like it or not. We have to experience it in same amount and for the same duration. No matter how much efforts we put in to please God, we have to face consequences of our deeds. Neither ritual nor any place of spiritual importance can revert back the consequences. Our sufferings or hard times sometimes end just after our visit to spiritual place or after practicing that ritual or sacrifice. This increases our belief in them but it is nothing more than coincidence. We do not realize it was meant to end. Belief is good. However, blind belief is dangerous. It is more like a myth and takes the form of superstition. We are destined to enjoy our success for particular duration and we do so as we were meant for it and it is all because of our hard work and good deeds we did in our past. Similarly, we are destined to face failure and go through difficult times for particular duration because of our wrong and evil deeds we did in our past. Now no matter how many rituals we perform, it cannot change our bad time into good and vice versa. One has to face what he has to face.
The person going through difficult times is already in pain and if he lives in the constant fear that God is angry with him, he is just accelerating his fear. On this, he is performing so many acts which is again consuming his time and toll and creating more turbulence in him as he is doing it all out of fear. Instead of creating fear, if he makes efforts in understanding the situation then everything will work out fine in his life. He has to understand that the situation he is facing is because of his past karma and he has to face it till karmic accounts settle. He neither can run from it nor should even try to run from it. Consequences are natural and they will come whether one desires for them or not. Thus, one has to be ready to face them with confidence. It is art of living. An individual the way he remains happy and joyful during his good times should also show same type of understanding and attitude during difficult times. He should understand that it is just a phase which will get over with time. It may be a little longer for some people. However, eventually it will end and everything will be alright.
By creating turbulence in us, we are creating difficulties for us which we need to face in future. Our sufferings in present are consequences of our past deeds. If we do not check our present karma, we are creating difficult future for us as our today's creating is going to come back to us in the same form in our future. Calm and stability in present will lead to a stable future. Turbulence, lots of stress, tension, irritation, frustration will make us live an unpleasant future. Thus, whatever done is done. Face it calmly as we have no other way out. Present is in our hands. If we take care of present, our future will be automatically taken care of because it is the present on which future is built. Regretting on past deeds is of no use. One cannot correct them but can only learn from past mistakes. One has to learn from their mistakes and always remember not to repeat them at any cost. Planning future is also something not very clever thing to do. Though we can set goals but if we along with setting goals also decide results what we are going to get by reaching goals is mere foolishness. Our karmic account always comes in between and we are bound to face what we have to face and thus things may not turn out to be the way we expected. Thereby we get disappointed and sense a feeling of failure. Instead of building up expectations, we have to start acceptance. We expect people to do what we want them to do. We expect circumstances or situations to turn out the way we want them to be. Instead of expecting from them we have to accept the people the way they are. We have to learn to accept the situations the way they arrive. Only then we can remain stable as we have accepted the outcome, embraced it well and are no longer differentiating good people from evil, nor differentiating good times from difficult times. it's all same for us.
We do wrong to other souls. We tend to cheat them, misbehave with them or hurt them in one way or the other and then we very easily go and confess to God and ask for his forgiveness. When we are doing something good or bad with an individual, our karmic account gets created with him. Even the quality of thoughts we create for him develops karmic account between us and him. If we do something good to him, in return something good will be returned by him and if we do something bad, in return we can expect the same. We cannot wipe out our deeds and change the consequences. We need to deal with our karmic account. No body can intervene it. If we do wrong to one person and help hundred others so that we need not face the consequences of our wrong deeds we did to that person, is just not going to happen. Our karmic account that we created with the person to whom we did wrong is separate and now by doing service or good to hundred people we have created separate hundred karmic accounts. No doubt in future we will receive sweet fruits from these hundred individuals in return of our favor but we will also receive bitter fruit from that individual to whom we did something wrong. We cannot mingle everything. We should serve others but the purpose behind serving should be clear. Service should not be done to wipe out past deeds as this is never going to happen.
After our past wrong karma we go and confess to God and ask for his forgiveness. To him every soul is same. He will never punish us nor bless us. All he does is that he empowers us. We can take strength from him which will help us to fight odds in our life and remain stable in both good and bad times. Doing something wrong to someone and asking for God's forgiveness is stupidity. God never intervenes our karmic account nor he creates it. It is we who create our karmic account and thus either can make or mar our future. Another stupidity we do is providing plenty of services to needy in form of food, shelter, water, medicine etc..... thinking that our positive deeds will neutralize negative karma. If we have to confess then we need to go and confess to that person to whom we have done wrong. We should ask for his forgiveness. He may or may not forgive us but we ourselves will feel internally peaceful. Once confessed, we should try to change our that character which made us to do wrong to him. Simply asking for forgiveness is no greatness. Preventing mistake to become a blunder is important. Once we change that wrong character we have in ourselves, we will prevent ourselves from doing the same bad deed to him or to any other soul. This change is the real confession. Our asking for forgiveness help us to get rid of guilt which is very important for internal peace. We cannot undo which is already been done as we cannot correct or change our past. The other person forgives us or not is his issue and it should not be a matter of concern to us as we have made a real change in us. Thus, we are guilt free and now we need to make ourselves free from fear as we have to face the consequences of our wrong karma which will definitely be unpleasant. Fear and anxiety worsens the situation. We need to remain stable in times of crisis which will help us to deal with the situation well. We should be ready to face any sort of situation that comes before us. Fear is of no use as we have to deal with what we have to deal.
Sometimes unexpected results arrive before us and all we do is sit and complain of how wrong others have done to us when we have not done even a bit wrong to them. All we are able to see is this life times journey. Karmic account is not between two bodies. It is between two souls. It get carried forward from one life time to another and whenever two souls will meet no matter after how long they have arrived before one another, they will carry forward the karmic account from that point from where they ended. If in previous times, relation between two souls was good, they will have a pleasant relationship whenever they meet and if it was not so good earlier, it will be carried forward in present times too. This is the reason that sometimes we will find a person with whom we may not have any sort of relation or contact and even though he or she may not have done anything good to us but still we are fond of him and love him. On the other hand, we may hate someone no matter how caring and loving he is to us. This all love and hatred feelings we develop among us are the set of characters we carry forward from one life time to another. We just have to be clear that we maintain a separate karmic account with each and every individual. It is we who create it and the consequences we face is because of our karma and not because of some one else. If the other person does something wrong to us, he will face the consequences. Even if he does something wrong to us, we can maintain stability and can come out of the situation very well.
God does not create our destiny. It's we who create it and thus whatever the outcome is we ourselves are responsible for it. We rarely put a blame on us and lay ourselves responsible and this is all because of ignorance. We blame others for our loss and when we cannot find any one around us on whom we can levy responsibility of our failure, we shoulder the whole failure burden on God. We need to stop doing it. Our present is a mere reflection of our past. The things we are facing or experiencing are all outcome of our karma we had done in past times. We need to set things right now. Present is in our hands. Instead of complaining about the people or situations we are facing, let's accept them the way they are. Acceptance means internal stability. It means telling to oneself that the behavior of people or severity of circumstances are exactly the way they are meant to be. Once this fact is accepted, we will rarely lose patience. We will remain internally calm and never get disturbed. Once we reach this stage, we will face all the odds in our life very calmly. Since our present is calm and we are creating a very nice positive karmic account with everyone around us in our present, we will experience the same carry forward in our future. We are laying foundation for our better future and the stepping stone will be understanding that we develop within us.
Each and every karma of ours create karmic account. Karma does not only include work that we do externally. Each and every thought we create for ourselves or for others is also karma. We maintain a separate karmic account with every soul we get connected. No body can intervene this account. We ourselves are responsible for the quality and kind of karmic account we need to maintain with other souls and therefore we need to decide whether we want to maintain a good relationship with them or just a superficial one. If we need to build a good karmic account with others, we need to fill in us with lots of goodness and act accordingly. Each and every karma of ours create our own destiny.

Babu saroj created new article cyber cafes and cell phones are ruining young boys and girls .
Cyber cafes and cell phones are the two mind-boggling asserts of the modern age. India’s status as a nation is nondescript; neither a developing nor a ‘developed’ country. In such a fluid condition when the poor are getting poorer and vice-versa, she mounts the bandwagon of a nation fitted with the panoply of a progressive country. The two media are progressively becoming cheaper and accessible even to the meanest citizen – to wit, even to a rickshaw puller. Young girls and boys scour the country with dainty or even daintier cell phones hanging like lockets or clutched within dainty fingers of damsels. Cyber-cafes in Kiosks, nooks of thoroughfare markets are investing cities and towns with a new glamour and activity.
This is just a cross-section of the teaming proliferation of these two sets. They are contributing, no doubt largely, to the health and ambition of today’s forward looking generation. But there’s the rub; the advantage cuts both ways. They bring the outer world closer and provide opportunities to all and sundry that has the go for great things in life, the intelligence and curiosity for knowledge and achievement. In short, these two asserts have cleared the ground that shall have no place for idlers.
But the other side of the medal looks dismal, a bit. Cell phones are in rampant use in clandestine love affairs, in exam centres. Young boys and girls communicate, ‘date’ their appointments, and get involved in cross relationship, often terminating in murder or suicide. Its functional value, which ostensibly accounts for their owning it, is vitiated by such improper uses. Software knowledge or skill induces young boys and girls to go for ‘quick money’. They desert the traditional course of obtaining a sound education and training before embarking on a career worth the name. The ‘language’ –training gains for them better in ‘call centres’ which is a global phenomenon. Dollar and sterling pound of the first world countries are saved, as they can hire Indian intelligence to serve their ends at much cheaper rates. Thus our boys and girls, whose integral work is no whit inferior to that of the first world countrymen, become morally subdued. It is a sequel to the expanding phenomenon of the educated unemployed youths of our country. Even apart from this economic disparity, the ‘call centres’ that are mostly run at night because of time lag between remotely distant countries, are virtually turning into ‘stress centres’- disastrous socially.
Who are to blame –the devices or we ourselves? Our government has failed and is failing to provide adequate employment opportunities; our schools and colleges are unable to monitor and produce responsible citizens and our family units are running to the seeds. Naturally, the wild rush caused thus by globalization, has changed the entire superstructure of the young generation, who would earn, at whatever cost. Learning, education, self-discipline and moral accountability for deeds and ventures are now relegated. Time alone shall bear out the ultimate consequence. But to blame the devices as ‘ruining’ factor is putting the cart before the horse. The fault is not in them, but in us. Are we mature enough to head forward so fast?

MG Singh created new article India and Insurgency in Kashmir.
The state of Jammu and Kashmir is located in the extreme north of India. It has 3 distinct regions namely Jammu, Ladakh and the valley of Kashmir. Another distinct part of Kashmir is part of Pakistan. The Indians have also lost 30000 square miles to China in Ladakh. It effectively means that nearly 40% of the territory of Kashmir is under occupation of powers who are inimical to India.
Legally as per the terms of transfer of power, Maharajah Hari Singh acceded the state to India when he signed the instrument of accession. The fact is Hari Singh had grandiose dreams of independence. He delayed signing the Instrument of accession, till raiders aided by the Pakistan army had almost reached Srinagar. The Nehru government in its wisdom accepted this accession with certain stipulations. In terms of the instrument of accession the state was guaranteed a special status as well as its own constitution and flag. In addition this special status was incorporated in the Indian constitution. One of the effects of this special status was to effectively insulate Kashmir from rest of India. The Indian political leadership went out of its way to ensure that the special status of Kashmir was not eroded.
In the eighties General Zia ul Haq formulated a devious plan to annex Kashmir through an internal insurrection. He was of the view that a home grown movement in Kashmir, like in Palestine was needed to make Kashmir a part of Pakistan. The plan involved sending infiltertrators from Pakistan into Muslim dominated part of Kashmir, to indoctrinate and rouse pan Islamic sentiments. Some of the local youth were also encouraged to take up arms against the Indian army.
The Indian government was taken over by a policy paralysis. It did not react forcefully and the movement in Kashmir took on a anti Hindu color. From early nineties an ethnic cleansing campaign was started. Hindu families were attacked and many Hindus were killed. In addition rape and abduction of Hindu girls became rampant. Loudspeakers in mosques in sermons broadcast messages exhorting the Muslim youth to kill the Hindu men and marry their women. The Indian Congress led government woefully failed to fight the Muslim youth, who had made Jihad their battle cry.
The ethnic cleansing was a success and all Hindus were driven out of the valley. This was the time for forceful military action, but the Indian government failed on all fronts. It is a matter of shame that in independent India, Hindus were driven from their homes in the valley. The entire Hindu community, left their property and escaped with just their clothes to India. Overnight they became refugees in their own homeland.
The BJP government which followed the Congress was also unequal to the task. A psychosis of fear gripped the Vajpayee government and the valley continued to simmer. Strong military action was not taken in the hope that militants will see reason and join the mainstream of Indian unity. This was a misplaced notion as the battle lines were accentuated and the local insurrection movement gathered more steam. Attacks by extremists became more frequent and many Indian soldiers were killed. The government however continued its policy of trying to appease the separatists. It even began to pay money as well as security to separatist leaders who had joined together under a loose umbrella called Hurriat.
All the Hurriat leaders should have tried for sedition and killings, but the Indian government just sat on its haunches. In fact it even was ready to negeoitiate with a known killer of Indian Air Force personnel. This man named Yasin Malik was absolved of all charges as the Manmohan Singh government negeoiated with him. Other Hurriat leaders frequently met Pakistan leaders and their High Commissioner in Delhi. All this went on under the nose of the Indian government.
In the meantime the Pakistan government continued to give arms, money and active support to the movement in Kashmir. Over a 100 terrorist training camps were identified by the CIA and details given to the Indian government. India never had the will or the weaponry to attack these camps. Partly this was due to the fact that all along the last 65+ years of independence, the military had been allowed to go to seed. India did not have decisive military superiority and an attack on the camps could have well led to an infructuous exercise. Even in the valley the security forces were told to exercise restraint even as the so called mujahadin began attacking the BSF, CRP and Indian army with impunity.
The situation in the valley is now bad. It is not entirely the creation of Pakistan. Most of the men taking part in this insurrection are young Muslim youth from Kashmir who have been indoctrinated in the name of Islam. The movement, in particular the armed struggle is going on for 2 decades and now it appears to be gathering steam. One can say that the kid glove treatment of the insurrection in Kashmir for the last 2 decades has led to this stage. Now there are daily attacks on security forces and there is very little headway towards normalcy in Kashmir.
The Indian government has blundered for the last 7 decades. By now the valley should have been integrated with India and special status abolished. People and terrorists involved in killings should have been nailed. This did not happen and resulted in demoralising even those Muslims who wanted to remain with India. The Indian nation may have to pay a terrible price for past acts in the future.

Reena created new article Secret Behind Disease Free Life.
Diseases are not born directly in body. Disorders or irregularities leading to diseases are first born in mind and soul. Gradually their effects can be seen on body. Disorders of body are mere reflection of disorders formed in mind which can also be called as stress or tension. Mental disorders or disturbance can make a person lose his ability to differentiate between good and bad. Everything just appears same to him. As a result, irritation, frustration, anger, disrespect, ego, lust, bad thoughts make a room in his mind. He runs away from the company of good people. Mind does not enjoy such company and always wants to be around bad people and part of a bad company. This increases disturbance in mental peace, discomfort etc.....
To help oneself from falling into stage of mental disturbance every soul has to show kindness towards one another. He should be ready to serve others. He should sacrifice beliefs and thoughts which are evil and not good for him and should replace them with good beliefs. Once belief system is changed thoughts too changes and in no time character of a person changes. He should check his company and always get enrolled in company of good people. This will keep him calm and patient.
Once mind is sound, it is not difficult to keep body sound and healthy. Irrespective of what care we take to keep our body healthy which may include following a healthy balanced nutritious diet, following a daily exercise regime, going for regular health check-ups etc..... if we do not concentrate on health of our mind and always live a busy life full of hustle-bustle, our body will never be healthy. All the efforts we have put in will go in vain. Some people often complain that they have put so many efforts to keep themselves healthy but could not keep diseases at bay. This is because they have concentrated only on their physical health and paid no attention to their mental health.
Stress and tension are the main causes of any disease today which may be acute or chronic. Every cell in our body acts according to the changes that occur in our body. Changes in body are again associated with the response we create in every situation that is during times of crisis as well as during times of happiness. All our excitement, pain, sorrows and other responses show effect on our body. We react without even knowing what effect it is imparting on our body.
Thus, importance is given to peaceful life. When there is peace, there is patience. A person remains calm. His mental calmness reflects on his body. Once whose mind is free from mental disturbance will always live a disease free life. No irregularities will form in his blood. Disorders like changes in blood pressure commonly known as high blood pressure or low blood pressure, changes in blood sugar level known as diabetes and other blood related disorders are usually cause of too much stress and tension. Irregularity in eating pattern, following a wrong life style, genetic or hereditary factors are a few factors responsible for causation of these disorders in some patients. Most of the people are suffering from these disorders mainly due to the stress and tension prevailing in their life which has become an inevitable part of their life style. For us it seems normal to live a stressful life. But for body it isn't normal. If one wants to keep his diseases at bay and live a very healthy life style, he should give equal importance to both his physical and mental health. A sound mind in a sound healthy body is a secret that leads to healthy life which is free from all sorts of diseases and disorders.

Reena created new article Stress Free Life.
Today stress and tension has become an integral part of our life style. A few decades ago, it was seen that only during times of crisis and tough time people would suffer from stress. Rest of the period they would live calmly, very stably. However, today irrespective of what age a person may be, stress and tension are very commonly experienced. Not only elderly individuals, even kids experience same amount of stress and tension. Stress is a gift of modern age to us.
We ourselves are responsible for being stress all the time. It is not something created outside. It is an internal creation and there are many causes for it to develop. A person who keeps thinking all the time and the thoughts that he is been creating are of very negative quality often remains in stress. Useful thoughts are the normal thoughts related to our day to day work. These thoughts enable us to schedule our work and complete it in proper time whereas useless thoughts are the one that are created thinking about past or future. Past cannot be repaired and what's in future can never be told. Thus, one needs to check what kind of thoughts he is creating. Decrease the amount of thoughts and concentrate on work that is to be done. Less and less number of thoughts created, more peaceful a life will be.
Work that has to be done in scheduled time, should be efficiently completed within that duration. A stitch in time, saves nine. Postponing work, delaying it to next hour or next day, only increases burden as along with this pending work, one also needs to complete work that is to be given to them in next hour. Our this habit may be due to our laziness or inefficiency. Whatever the reason may be not being punctual in completing tasks never pays off. It's better to finish off work at earliest. Work done in desired hours does not invite stress in our lives. Work that builds up everyday definitely becomes a matter of concern to us. We keep thinking about our uncompleted work and thereby stress and tension follows. Once stress is created, irritation and frustration build up. Thus, one needs to be regular and punctual in no matter what work they need to accomplish.
Some of us today are scared of putting in efforts. It may be due to our inefficiency or may be we want an easy way out. Whatever the reason may be, fruits can only be reaped, if a seed is planted. If no seed is sowed, no matter how long one waits, no plant will grow and thereby no fruits can be reaped. Efforts are essential. Along with efforts, efficiency is necessary. Success is not about an easy way out or day dreaming. It's all about successful planning and then successfully accomplishing the desired plan into action. Inefficiency can be cured by hard work. Beginners are often inexperienced and thus they may find themselves inefficient. However, hard work and experience makes them a pro in their respective fields. For this, one needs to start somewhere at some point. If we are scared of making a start and keep taking stress whether we will be successful or not will take us nowhere. Thus, keeping our stress at bay and believing completely in our inner strength, we need to make a start. Once efficiency is shown, success is definite.
Anger is another very important cause of stressful life. Anger and stress are very closely related. Some of us show anger or reacts badly only in certain situations whereas others do it all the time. They keep doing it regardless or whether a situation is very small or is drastically critical. They keeping shouting at people for no definite reason whether they have committed a small, silly mistake or have done a blunder. More the number of times we become angry, more stress we are creating within ourselves. Same situation or same person on whom we are throwing our tantrums can be tackled very calmly and peacefully. If we desire to live a peaceful life, we need to check on our anger.
Some of us today are even scared of certain things or certain situations. We do not want to face them at any cost. This nature of ours always keep us tensed and keep us away from living stress free life. We since do not want to meet with our fear are in constant effort of avoiding such situations or people. However, it is better to face our fear. Once we face our fear, we get rid of it and can live a fearless life. Fear causes us to live in a nutshell and by facing it we tend to rupture the shell. We should not be scared of anything anymore in our lives.
Another cause of stress is lack of ability in believing others i.e., fear of trusting them. Some of us do not believe others easily. It's essential that we completely analyze the situations, completely understand the person we are about to face and after carefully understanding them should trust them and deal with them. This rules out any possibility of being cheated. However, some of us do not have that ability in us to build up trust towards others, no matter how trustworthy a person may be. Being careful is important and essential too in today's world. However, being suspicious about everyone and everything in life brings with it lots of stress and tension in life. Such people can never live a healthy stable life. Thus, one has to check the limits of suspicion they are creating for others and tackle it calmly.
Stress is a cause of psychosomatic diseases. It exerts negative effect on mental balance. It tends to affect metabolic levels in our body and also causes harm to digestive system and respiratory system. More than 90% of the diseases in world is psychosomatic. We do not understand how dreadful this stress is in our lives and very easily give an explanation that stress is common and natural. It is not natural and normal but it is deadly, as it not only causes metabolic changes and affects each and every cell in our body but also causes certain dreadful serious diseases related to heart. Stress makes a person to go for binge eating especially foods which are unhealthy and deep fried. This excess consumption of food results in overweight. More the weight increases, more number of diseases and disorders make room in body. On the other hand, in certain individuals, stress and tension make an individual to eat less. Loss of appetite in them make them devoid of lots of nutrients. As a consequence, lots of disorders related to nutritional deficiency develops in them. Sometimes, stress also be so serious that a person can experience dizziness and even fall unconscious.
Stress not only causes ill physical health but can also affect mental health of a person. It is a disorder which is formed in mind. Individuals when are in constant stress and find themselves incapable of fighting from it become prone to many addictions. They take help of alcohol, tobacco, drugs etc..... which will distract them for a while from stressful life and help them to reach an altogether different zone. As a consequence, within few days they become alcoholic, chronic smokers, drug addicts and thereby now they have to not only fight from their stressful life but also have to deal with their addiction which requires a lot of time and money. This will further deteriorate health of individuals and make them suffer from lots of diseases. Stress not only affects physical and mental health but also affects a healthy relationship between two individuals. Stressful life breaks or weakens the bond between two individuals and as a consequence many a times causes isolation. It breaks the bond between joint families, causes trouble in marriage. Stress creates fear of being successful and fear of earning bread and butter for the family.
Stress has to be gradually reduced in life and eventually should be eradicated from one's life. It is a disorder that is formed in mind. Stimulus however is outside and thereby we blame others for our stressful life. We often blame other individuals or circumstances that caused us pain and made way for stress and tension in our lives. We do not understand that it is we who create it and hence it is we who can stop it from being created. No matter how cruel situations we need to face, no matter how difficult circumstances arrive, if we program our mind to remain calm, stress free, we will definitely be able to come out of that situation successfully. Regardless of how difficult circumstance is, we can tackle it very well by remaining at peace. Where there is peace, stress does not arrive. Peaceful life is a stress free life.
Stress only worsens the situation. Results we get by solving a situation by remaining at peace is far superior than the results we obtain from completing that task in stress. We ourselves affect our results. Thus, we should remain calm and positive. It will help us to think in all directions. Stress narrows down thinking. It closes down the doors and shuts down the possibilities and options. Number of options remain same in front of an individual who is calm as well as to the person who is in stress. The only difference is that the person who is in stress cannot analyze the situation well and do not think positively when compared to an individual who remains calm and peaceful throughout the course.
As cause is within, so is the solution. It is we who are creating stress and thus should work upon ourselves, so that we can greatly reduce it. Once we have understood that it is we who are creating stress, we will stop blaming others for our failure or difficulties that we are facing during course. Once we stop wasting time on blaming others we will start exploring our options to tackle the situations. We will instill in ourselves lots of positive energy and this positiveness towards life will help us to effectively tackle situation no matter how difficult it is. This kind of positive attitude will never leave a room for stress and tension in our lives and will fill within us lots of enthusiasm and courage which will enable us to achieve our dreams and reach our goal.
Stress can be greatly reduced by meditation. Yoga, pranayam will also bring discipline in our lives which will teach us to remain calm and stable all the time. Early morning walk, brisk walking, trekking or hiking activities, nature camping, spending time watching sunrise or sunset all takes away stress from our lives. Diet is another important factor necessary to live a strong life. As will be the diet, so will be our mind. As will be the mind, so will be our body. We cannot eat all the wrong things i.e., we cannot follow an unhealthy diet and dream of living a stress free life. We need to keep some discipline with respect to our eating patterns and lifestyle. In times of stress, raw food diet which includes lots of fruits, vegetables and their juices and milk is very beneficial. It boosts up the metabolism and fills in lots of energy which is very high when compared with the one that is obtained after consuming unhealthy foods. Energy is essential to do work, to think right and to perform efficiently. Lots of positivism and right energy can only help us accomplish what we want. Raw food diet will boost up our energy levels and as this diet is quite light but filling helps us to deliver work with efficiency. Other carbohydrate rich and fat rich diets provide energy but also a person will feel heavy and thus will not be able to deliver his best. Once performance is affected, it makes way for stress and tension.
Stress free life can be easily achieved once we understand its importance. We need to cultivate lots of discipline in our lifestyle. We have to eat right, think right, maintain our energy levels well so that we can achieve what we want. Stress is a disorder that develops within our mind. We can eradicate it completely and live a very peaceful life which is free of stress and tension by creating lots of positive thoughts within ourselves and around us.

MG Singh created new article Famous Exchange of Spies at Glienicker Bridge During the Cold War.
The Cold War is a thing that is now history, but at one time it had the attention of the world as a monolithic Soviet Empire faced the Western World led by the USA. The Cold War commenced on the ruins of the defeat of Nazi Germany, when the Soviets under Josef Stalin attempted to export their brand of communism around the world. The West felt threatened and reacted harshly, by ringing the Soviet Union with a string of military bases. At that time Pakistan threw its lot with the USA, while India chose to steer an independent course.
The highpoint of the cold war was the blockade of Berlin ordered by Stalin in 1948. At that time the USA was the only power that had the A- Bomb and had demonstrated its lethal power, when it was used to bomb Nagasaki and Hiroshima, twin Japanese cities in August 1945. The Russians were thus wary of an armed conflict with the USA, never the less they blockaded Berlin. The USA and its allies began a round the clock air lift to Berlin and kept the city alive with supplies and food. Stalin was furious, but could do nothing, mainly as the Soviets had been unable to develop a A-Bomb.
In a secret meeting Stalin authorised the NKVD( Secret Police) chief Beria to try and ferret out the secret plans for manufacture of the Atomic Bomb. Possession of the bomb was vital for Soviet interests and parity with the USA. In the absence of the A- Bomb, Stalin had no choice but to climb down and call of the blockade. The NKVD got into action and selected Colonel Rudolph Abel of the Soviet Army and a long time member of the NKVD to proceed to the USA and infiltrate the American nuclear establishment. He had a one point agenda to bring out the US nuclear plans.
The real name of Colonel Abel was Vilayam Fisher and he was born in England of Russian parents. He came back to the Soviet Union and joined the Russian army. Later he was seconded to the espionage wing of the NKVD. Fisher had many aliases and passports and assumed different identities at various times as he travelled to and fro in the USA. Helped by a pair of renegade scientists who were inspired by communist ideals Rudolph Abel could transmit vital secrets to his mentors in Moscow. The value of the information provided by Abel has never been assessed, but in 1949 Russia was able to test a nuclear device, which came in handy as a deterrent during the Korean war( 1950-53).
Rudolph operated in the USA for years and despite the best efforts of the CIA and FBI, he was not caught. In between he built up a network of spies and contacts and for years fooled the FBI. However time ran out for Abel when Lt Colonel Reino Hayhanen of the Soviet secret police ( KGB) defected to the West at Paris in 1957. He revealed important information about Colonel Abel and the FBI could then arrest Colonel Abel. However the CIA and FBi kept the information of his arrest secret for weeks as they attempted to ' break' powers. They also offered him immunity and a new life in USA if he defected and became a double spy. Abel was offered a young American girl as a wife and the option to live his life later in the USA as well have children, if he became a double agent.
Colonel Abel refused as he wanted at some stage to get back to his wife and daughter in East Germany. The FBI then formally arrested him and committed him to trial. The role of James Donovan, the lawyer appointed by the court to defend Abel did yeoman's service when he convinced the Judge not to hand the death verdict to Abel. The Colonel was sentenced to 30 years in prison and escaped the death penalty.
The action of James Donovan who took his brief seriously was not liked in America and he began to receive hate mail and many Americans agitated against him outside his house. But James Donovan had done a great service to the USA as future events unfolded. President Eisenhower authorised secret flights over Russia for espionage activities, The planes would take off from Peshawar ( Pakistan) and fly across the Soviet Union and land in Norway. Peshawar had become a CIA base. The plane used for these flights was known as the U-2. It had high resolution cameras and could fly at an altitude of over 70,000 ft above MSL. The Russians were aware of these secret flights, but could do nothing as they did not have a missile to hit a flying object at that height. Nikita Khrushchev the Soviet leader was exasperated , but could do nothing.
The flights continued for 2 years and one of the veteran pilots was Francis Powers. He was earlier a USAF pilot, before he was recruited by the CIA. The Russians finally had a SAM and in 1959, one of the planes piloted by Powers was hit by a Soviet missile. Gary Powers was to self destruct the plane, but he failed to press the self destruction button and had to bail out. He was 1200 miles inside Russia and when he landed he was arrested by the KGB. Powers was taken to Moscow and put on trial as a spy.
The arrest of Powers had political implications and a later summit meeting was wrecked as Khrushchev demanded an apology and General Eisenhower refused. Powers was sentenced to 10 years in prison including hard labor. The loss of the plane and capture of Powers had a negative effect on US prestige and the CIA was keen to get its hands on Powers. They wanted to know what all he had told the Soviet secret police.
This was the time when senior CIA functionaries approached James Donovan and requested him to be the intermediary between the Soviet and US government sand ask for a prisoner swap. The Americans were prepared to exchange Col Rudolph Abel for Francis Powers. James Donovan flew to Berlin and began a long and tortuous negotiation for a prisoner swap. It is a tribute to the skill of James Donovan that he could convince the Russians to exchange Powers for Abel.
Finally on 10 February 1962 the exchange took place on the bridge that was the border between East and West berlin. Abel was brought from the state prison at Atlanta by a USAF plane and taken to Berlin. The exchange took place well after midnight. It was the first ever exchange of spies by the superpowers and remains a landmark in espionage history.
Col Abel settled in Russia and gave lectures to school students. He died at the age of 69 of lung cancer. Powers returned to the USA, but was cold shouldered by the CIA. He died in 1978 in a helicopter crash. But decades later Gary Powers was reinstated as a war hero and given a burial at the famous Arlington cemetery. This remains a thrilling episode in espionage history and one that even now does not fail to excite.

3) Remain in state of, absent minded, whole day and keep forgetting things, every now- Like body repair, mind repair is not done, when you did not sleep for appropriate hours; due to which, mind also does not work, properly and patient feel, absent minded whole day; absorbed in thoughts. Forgetfulness or you can say, memory loss, forgetting things just told, is very much common to occur to a person; if he or she does not sleep, for sufficient hours.
4) Functional hearing impairment- Yes, functional hearing impairment can occur; if you did not sleep, for required set of hours; which is very my compulsory, if you do not want to get victimized, with hearing impairment. So, why to be its victim; when you have simple solution of sleeping, for sufficient hours. If you did not have time; then you have to create, free time niche, for sleeping; to avoid, this functional hearing impairment problem.

Whereas, hormonal flow does not start deteriorating, before 70 in men. Even after 70 years of age, it not stop suddenly; it gradually decreases.

7) Anything else, which is yet left to discuss? Well yes, if you are chronic smoker or chronic alcoholic or on anti-convulsive drugs, from a very long time; then it does not matter, whether you are male or female, you are going to get early onset of osteoporosis; affecting your human bones because all these 3 factors, erodes your bones from inside.
8) Any lab-investigation, which is available in market; to get this disease detected? Well yes, there is and its name is BMD test, full form, bone mineral density test. If you have T score, which is test score, ranging above -1 and up to -2.5; then you are diagnosed as osteoporosis victim. But, if on testing, your T score comes above -2.5; then also you are diagnosed as osteoporosis victim. But, if with T score above -2.5, you also have past history of fracture; then you are labeled as, severe osteoporosis victim; who needs prompt treatment.

Dr. Simran Kaur created new article 5 Simple and Easy to do, Home Manicure Tips that are of Great Help.
Manicure is skin care procedure, followed to clean the hands. Yes, it is clean-up of hands; just like facial is, of face. Just like, facial follows some step by step procedure, to clean and rejuvenate face; similarly do, manicure do follows, a step by step procedure.
Manicure is costly, if you get it done at beauty parlor and you does not know, which brand product, they are using; of which quality, whether expired or in date. Hygiene of their bowels, in which, they put manicure cleansers; is also not accurately confirmed. So, it is better to have your manicure done at home; if you have plenty of time to do it.

Dr. Simran Kaur created new article 4 Bad Effects can Occur to you, if you do Not Sleep daily, for 7-8 Hours during Night.
Yes, it is seen that some people, did not have daily sleep record, of sleeping for 7-8 hours per night. Their reason for it vary, from person to person. Some did not have adequate hours, to sleep due to work scenario; which allow very less hours, for sleeping. Whereas some have sufficient hours, for sleeping; but are not able to sleep because of noisy or disturbing environment; which break their sleep intermittently.
