Babu saroj said thank you to usha manohar for his/her reply to the topic The Directive Principles of State Policy contained in Part IV, Articles 36-51 of the Indian constitution. It enjoins the state to enact a uniform civil code. Should this proviso be scrapped?.

i think the UCC should be scrapped because if we went on making a personal law for any individual religion then it would be very difficult for the law to be sustain because it can become a mess up.
You have got mixed up ! Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is all about having one law for all regardless of religion and has not been implemented in India, so no question of scrapping it .

Co-educational schools are a healthy form of education. I studied only in coeducational schools throughout. But in all Islamic countries, there is no co-education at all even in modern UAE where I am.

Here the issue is whether uniform civil code should be introduced as envisaged in directive principles of constitution. There is alternative suggestion whether the item be removed from directive principles.
Apparently, most of debatable items were included in directive principles as a compromise. What was agreed upon is in main framework and what is undecided and disputed in directive principles. I feel that the directive principles should be implemented by fresh discussion. If some are not worth implementation, there is no harm in removing these from the directive principles.
Now the issue involved. There is no doubt that current major ruling party BJP, ally shiva Sena favor uniform civil code in their election speeches. Jan Sangh- the earlier avatar of BJP also favored uniform civil code. So, if they have been seriously promoting the concept of uniform civil code, let them bring legislation for this. If they don't do so now, they will forfeit any right to make demand for common civil code when they lose power.
In a way I agree with Ajmaniji. The BJP must bring the bill for UCC in the house and open it to debate. I am a nationalst and BJP and Congress have little meaning for me. My point is why should India be the ONLY nation in world to have a diverse civil code. No where is such a proviso ANYWHERE. So good citizens must themselves force the government of the day to bring UCC. If required the BJP can also be dumped like the corrupt Congress

Hi team,
I has been really disappointing to note that my payment for Rs.1495 has been put on hold since 2010. I worked for boddunan in writing several articles in the beginning when the site was created. At that time you made prompt payments but what has happened now. You can easily send me my payment but whenever I submit an article, it gets rejected. I am just less of 5 rs for my payment. Why don't you people send me a check of 1495 rs only and if it is your policy to do not send a check below 1500 then please check my submitted articles, approve it and pay me. I would highly appreciate. I have referred several users who were my online friends in the beginning when your site was launched in 2008. Please help. Here is my screenshot:

Term insurance does not give return as this is not investment plan. But you get high cover at lower premium. The money saved by lower premium can be invested in better way. The term insurance is also very useful as collateral security when you get loan. The loan granting financial body is more interested in life cover rather than bonus/ dividend on policy.

Quite an interesting study...I guess most women prefer their partners to be smarter than themselves ! It is a biological thing that man should be the bread earner thereby better educated and intelligent and strong rather than be weak and give in easily ..

Life Insurance term policies have benefits for the lower middle class and poorer section where the mortality rate is higher and the families are often left with nothing. But such people find it difficult to pay even the yearly premium and often end up even the money that they have already paid because of some pre conditions
