Educated men are the most selfish in matters of dowry taking. They try to encash their education degrees. I had a class mate in my post graduate engineering class who was not at all serious about his studies. When asked the reason he would laugh and say his father has forced him to study as being a Reddy from AP as an MTech he can get a much bigger dowry.

First, let the News Channels write anything and everything. This boosts their sales. Next day Correct all the rubbish news in an errata. This too boosts the sales of the News paper. In both ways, a News Paper's purpose is served in all respects.

@MGSingh I surely feel you are misusing your freedom of expression by calling Manmohan Singh a running dog. You may not like him and no court has pronounced him guilty. It is not at all fair to use expressions like these for a previous PM. Knowing you you will justify it but I think this time you have got it wrong. Rest is up to you and your conscience.

While I agree that country's security is compromised by leaking documents to foreign agencies, will someone throw light as to how our news channels get a fresh set of documents everyday. Is this not compromising. How they get it or who gives it to them?

The present Congress party is not the same as the one tat fought the English rule under Gandhi. This is a decrepit old party which just wants to cling to power by hook or crook. In the bargain, they want to live an opulent life at the cost of the Public. Indian prestige and power have no meaning for them. Sadly this slide commenced during the last tenure of Indira Gandhi and gathered momentum under Sonia and her running dog Man Mohan Singh( Running dog is a Chinese proverb)

Yes. There are believers and non believers too. Both are surviving. By sticking to a particular process or system or otherwise, Nothing will happen either to Believers nor non Believers. Only thing that has to be remembered is not to force their respective beliefs on each other.

People when they are not confident of themselves resort to "sciences" like astrology. When scientific knowledge was not as it is today, astrology which is based to a large extent on various positions planets take during their revolutions around the sun, was used to explain away many happenings in a man's life and outside it. But in today's age astrology has no place and is just a harmless fun time pass. Those who want to believe in it can do so. No problems.

Actually, if we think of this concerning problem of ever increasing temperatures which are in a way related to increasing droughts, this problem can be managed to an extent with very simple solutions. In a natural ecosystem, when the rains fall, the water is first absorbed by the ground until the underground tables are full to their natural capacity. Once these underground sources are full, the remaining rain water is then washed away and taken up by natural streams, brooks which run into river etc. This is a natural cycle which ensures that even if in a particular year, there is less rainfall, there is still water left in the underground sources.
But by building concrete structures everywhere, and covering even the open spaces around apartment buildings and houses, we are severely disturbing this natural order of water absorption. Concrete heats up and causes temperatures to rise and thus more water is lost from the rivers and streams. It is such a simple logic and yet no one wants to keep areas free from concrete because the cars get dirty when parked on soil!
