BJP was built on the strong foundations of RSS, which is known for discipline and Hard work.It is due to this combination , BJP could introduce a plethora of Welfare measures which include Make in India, Swatch Bharat, Creation of Jobs, to name a few. The aim of the BJP Government is to make Bharat Self sufficient. Hence, I'm of the firm opinion that the BJP and RSS combination alone can make India walk through the Course of development.

Joke of the day: A die hard member says he does not blindly support any party!

Goons of some party talk of secularism in the guise of and as Congress workers so that the party can be criticized.Extremists of any religion need to be condemned. It is foolish to compare Indian model with countries like Bangladsh or other similar countries. Anyone born in India is an equal citizen whether he is a Ram or Rahim dos not matter. Constitution is  supreme . Narrow minded persons can leave and settle in Bangladesh with similar people like them and enjoy their company.

Just take a glance at most youngsters in trains and buses.  They would have their ears fitted with the wires that lead to their smart phones and be in their own world.  They would tend to be totally unconcerned with whatever goes on around them.  This happens in families too.  The parents make fun of the youngsters that they have hearing aids that keep them busy!! However, the very assertive young crowd would brook no interference and would rather go their own ways, at any point in time.  Laptops and tablets simply take over when they reach home and chatting on what's up is becoming a huge hindrance in every family. Are we losing out on social relationships and even family ties only because of this obsession with advanced IT technology?  What is the way out, and what should be the role of parents in this regard?

At the present moment, IT professionals are the most envied class of professionals.  They get huge salaries and get to go abroad on official work, more than any other class of professionals.  In fact, those who are quite smart, do get chances to go abroad very often, and often quit their companies to take up far better jobs overseas. However, there is a common perception that they are very selfish and contribute to the economy through growth of the service sector -- hotels, lodges, resorts, catering services and so on, all of which are literally driven by the IT professionals in many areas of metro cities.  Is it true that they are selfish?  Do they take up meaningful causes?  If yes, members may please react by recording such good work done.  We should support such good work.

The Central Government is very keen to merge banks and as a first step, the associate banks of the State Bank of India  are sought to be merged with the SBI.  This is outright a stupid and unwanted move. Firstly, more competition is possible only when there are more banks.  The private sector banks like Karur Vysya Bank, Lakshmi Vilas Bank and so on are giving the big public sector banks a run for their money, through superior customer service.  Hence, merger will only create a huge monolith kind of edifice that is bound to become more complicated. Secondly, there are huge manpower issues such as seniority, the skill level and so on, and each of these will further complicate matters.  Demotivation is bound to occur.  Thirdly, customers cannot be assured that they will get superior customer service only because the banks are merged.  Fourthly, it is a big task to manage such a big bank.  The Government should stop this practice of merging banks.

So far as BJP is called communal, the obvious reason is association with R.S.S./ allied organizations like Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajarangf dal ertc.  All democratic minded citizens would like that there are alternatives for voters. BJP as an alternative to Congress is welcome.  However, BJP needs to disassociate from the rabid fascist outfit headed by R.S.S.  BJP independent of R.S.S. will be most welcome to all.      BJP's identity lies with RSS and other Patriotic Hindu groups and people who vote for BJP are quite happy with it. The problem with other party supporters is that they think their party is perfect and BJP should become one like them. I don't see why they should even try to emulate one of those communal parties that go in the guise of secularism. BJP supporters are happy with its links with a disciplined and service minded party like RSS . In fact RSS and its ideologies are an asset to the party .

There is extremism in every religion , much more in Islam than in any other religion and we see its impact on the whole world , so the o called liberals need not even refer to Hindu extremism which is not violent and terror based . No doubt that many incidents that take place get blamed on Hindu groups especially so when it is a Muslim who is at the receiving end or a so called intellectual ! This fact has also been taken advantage of by our ever conniving political parties and there have been incidents where the goons of these parties commit such acts wearing saffron robes so that they can be easily identified as Hindu groups...These are all political games played by the political parties and their allies. In fact even  criminal goondas like Lalu and Mulayam speak about Fascist force, without having an iota of knowledge about what it actually means, so let us not use big words here against Hindu groups, rather use them where they should essentially be used to describe activities of certain communities ..

Please don't expect BJP sans RSS. Do you think people are not aware of the fact about BJP -RSS association ? Had the people thought, combination of BJP and RSS, a sacrilege, they wouldn't have elected the BJP with an overwhelming majority to rule the country. I remember that Vajpayee had taken a different stand on Babri demolition. Hence he was considered liberal and distant from the extreme communal and fascist forces and accepted by allies. Even now, the BJP leaders distance themselves from core ideology of R.S.S. in Kerala, Goa and Arunachal Pradesh. Recently, a BJP leader told in Kerala election rally that eating beef was no issue. This is in sharp contrast with the official stand taken by RSS/BJP.  If BJP comes out of RSS camp, acceptability among all sections of people and communities would rise.  It's bound to have differences in the same Party. But it doesn't mean BJP got dissociated with RSS.. A lot has happened since Vajpayi's time and Modi's time. Now the present philosophy of BJP is,  BJP- RSS association alone can deal with the most communal party of India, Congress. Which is why, BJP - RSS combination will continue for the betterment of this country.

rambabu said thank you to Gulshan Kumar Ajmani for his/her reply to the topic What is there in degree? .

There are many advocates in court who know nothing except recommending clients to successful advocates and getting something in return.   Knowledge, skill  and experience helps more than mere degree. But still you need degree as this is mandatory for certain jobs. You cannot work as a doctor unless you have appropriate degree inspite of knowledge and experience.  My question is, All degree holders are epitome of knowledge ? All non Degree  holders are Donkeys ? My opinion is knowledge is certainly important. If a degree provides the all important knowledge, there is nothing like it. Otherwise such Degrees are useless. All in all, I consider knowledge only matters. I don't have a Degree or Diploma from an Art School. But, Vizag Steel Plant in AP, has given me the Job of Manager, Visual arts. I agree with you.  A degree is a formal document certifying certain level of knowledge. This is mandatory for certain appointments. You cannot be company auditor unless you are a chartered accountant. But it is possible that knowledge and skill of formally qualified may be less than that of a non qualified person.  One needs to constantly update his skill and knowledge.   But here the issue is that fake degree is undesirable. If you have no degree, better to say that you have none. I am happy that you got notable achievement by dint of your merit.  Mere degree is no guarantee of actual knowledge and skill. skill is like a knife that needs constant sharpening.    I did the same in my interview at the Vizag Steel plant. I declared in no uncertain terms that I don't have any art related Qualification. But, the then chief of the Personnel Department said that he had seen my portfolio of my works and was confident that I can serve the organization's objectives. It's not all, I was sent to the most leading Advertising Agencies like R.K. Swamy for advanced training in Web designing and Visual Arts.   I once again congratulate and wish you all the best.
