What BJP says about Congress free India should not lead to single party but perhaps if such downfall of the oldest party of India continues then perhaps we are moving towards a day when there should be a single national party against all regional parties.

Violence by politicians who are in power towards oppostion and citizens definitely a cause of gravest concern and needs to be rectified. It is perhaps beginning of it but still the cm of Bihar has the time so he should rectify it or otherwise there could be chaos everywhere.

For the last eight or ten years all the accused are in cell, still to date there is perhaps no charge sheet this means no proof, I think if the charges are not proved then it is futile of entire process, there is no single degree in this case about person who are released but still they are behind bars for more than eight years.

COngress routed everywhere in recently concluded assembly election. It is a pity, that it got six or eight seats in TN, and failed to get majority in Assam. BJP won Assam for the first time, in Kerala it has now over 15 percentages of vote share and potent for third force in future and in WB the way COngress and Left joined hands sacrificing left and center philosophy, creating the void of political space to be filled by BJP in future.

In the Indian caste system it is only the Kshatriyas who are supposed to fight. Rest are supposed to be protected by them. it is time this was broken and everyone was compulsorily taught military training in college like earlier NCC, Now these are optional.

For a country of India's size it is essential that it have multi party system of democracy. Vietnam, Cuba are Communist countries which do not allow any other party to exist and their elections are sham elections. Whether BJP or Congress there should be at least these two and more at te national level. But it seems we are heading to strong regional parties at the States and a coalition of them would be at the center. Not a healthy trend.

It is with the same intention Central Government started the scheme " Digitization" which makes the country self reliant and stops dependence on western countries. Indian talent should be highly encouraged. Which is what BJP Government is doing. Make everything in India using its infra structure. In tune with the PM's policies younger IT professionals too giving their best.

Communal harmony and terror links are two different aspects. In my own place where we have had many communal riots mainly triggered by the mishandling by politicians, there is never any tension and all communities live in harmony.In fact a Muslim Bank official who was recently transferred to Mangalore has come to live in our neighborhood and he was telling me that he never expected to get a place for rent in a traditional area where upper caste Hindus live. But the fact of the matter is that most of the terrorists recruited by the ISIS come from Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Batkal a coastal town in Karnataka , Kashmir and UP..

I doubt if any of the states are as bad as Bihar and UP which seems as bad ! With criminals governing the state what else can one expect ? Mulayam Singhs is another family oriented party where his sons, daughter in laws, nephews etc etc form the face of the party..In that respect BSP may be slightly better !

Now with most parties being edged out by the Election commission since none of them have the required number of seats in the lok Sabha . According to the criteria set by the poll panel, a 'national party' needs to get at least 6% votes each from minimum four states, or get 2% of total seats in the Lok Sabha from at least three states, or it should be a recognised as a state party in at least four states.
NCP, BSP and CPI no longer fulfil any of the above conditions. The three parties had time till June 27 to contest EC's move and seek a hearing. If they are derecognised, then BJP, Congress and CPI(M) will be the only political parties that will continue to enjoy the national tag. Under the Symbols Order 1968, a party, on losing the national status, does not have the right to fight elections using a common symbol across the country.
In other words, if the decision is implemented, the analogue clock symbol will not be reserved for all NCP candidates across the country. It can use it only in states where it is recognized as a state party.
This is equivalent to losing the national character of the party. Also, NCP, BSP and CPI could lose facilities like utilising All India Radio and Doordarshan for poll-eve broadcasts and free copies of electoral rolls, which they enjoyed as national parties

True. Sonawal has been unanimously elected as BJP legislature party leader in Assam. Yes, as you said, BJP in Assam had taken the first step with firm determination to solve the long standing problems plaguing Assam. Sonowal has the strong support of the BJP as well as the people of Assam, who voted for a change. Sonowal will definitely succeed.
How will Sonowal succeed? will he identify nearly 25-30% of the migrants after 51-71 and send them back? Is it feasible/ Will Bangladesh accept millions back. Look at the human problem. Maybe he can stop infilteration, but that again is not in his hands as Bangladesh has a border with Meghalaya and many come from this route. It's a big problem that defies solution.
A million Dollar question. the country has seen a change in Assam, that was not expected even by BJP. While I agree with you that the problem of Bangladesh immigrants looks right now daunting, with the arrival of Sonowal as the would be CM of Assam, as a first step has already took a decision to seal the Border. I think it is too early to say if Sonowal succeeds or not. Let us wait and what Assam has in store in this regard.
Who can seal the border? State government or Union government. Birders are secured by central govt. through Border Security Force/ other semi military/ defence forces. How much role state govt. has to play. This may be limited to internal law and order and identification. It also appears that the issue of Adhar Card and PANCARD also are beyond scope of state government. It is too much to expect state govt. to do in the matter of immigrants.
