Kalyani Nandurkar replied to the topic Man has lost his all morals for money..
Money and greed for more money is the cause of degradation for many. Murdering unknown people for money is bad enough but killing own parents or children is an evil that is on rise. A horrific incident that happened in Pune two days ago in which a young lady who was pregnant was befriended by a couple of women on the pretext of helping her claiming they were Anganwadi sevikas. These ladies gained her trust and when she finally delivered the baby, they told her they would help her get some kind of government compensation and also polio and other vaccines for the baby. They took her along with her baby to one these women's home, killed her and kidnapped the baby which was just 25 days old. They were trying to sell the baby when they were finally arrested! I totally lost my appetite and my sleep since then!

Really?? Baseless? Probably you do not know then that Surya Namaskar is performed while chanting names of the Sun then! And Aumkar is used with some times of Pranayama and meditation, both of which happen to be an integral part of Yoga.

These are harmless activities and give joy to the fans. If one is not interested he/she may not get involved. But why be paternal in attitude. What problems of the country can fans solve. For that there is an elected government.

ABSIVAKUMAR created new topic Can inflation ever come down, and deposit rates go up?.
It is seemingly a very simple calculation. The Government and the RBI pool their best brains to control money flow in the economy, increase taxes through every single means available -- the hike in service tax is one such instance -- and leave the middle class in the lurch. Those who depend on fixed deposits for their survival are in deep trouble.
When all this happens, inflation shoots up and the prices of vegetables, milk, meat and what have you have already gone through the roof, when the Government claims it is less than six percent. There is absolutely no talk about increasing deposit rates, and the bankers simply say that the rates are going to come even further down. So, we might end up having just seven percent paid on our deposits, which are also taxed if the income is more than a ridiculous ten thousand rupees.
People like Vijay Mallaya can cool themselves in London, and several corporates can still owe the banks some one lakh crore rupees in bad debts. So, this sad story of robbing Peter to Pay Paul continues without any limit.
The simple question is: will inflation ever come down, and will deposit rates ever increase? Members who have some background in economics and can answer this vital question, please do help us understand how things will shape up, and what will be the future -- three to five years?

No one disagree with it that health is first. But if some in charging only for name than it is not fair. There may be more restaurant which is serving healthy food.
Anil the question is not about whether the restaurants serve healthy food or not, but more of a trend of spending money on food and drinks at places which charge multiple times than the actual cost of that dish or drink.

Yes it is optional. Some people are habitual of opposing all things. For some peoples it is program of political party. Yoga is for better health of all humans. Today I read that Muslims are also supporting Yoga. They said that we can speak Allaha in place of OM. I think noting wrong in it.
Yoga has nothing to do with religion. Modi said,Yoga is not a religious practice, but a science for better mental health. UN Secretary General Ban Ki moon said, Yoga is must for harmony, Country's largest border guarding force BSF will soon send a 1900 personnel-strong contingent to advanced training in Yoga exercises and skills by Ramdev at his facility in Haradwar.

ABSIVAKUMAR created new topic Why all this hype about one ageing Superstar?.
One does not really know when a forthcoming called "Kabali" is due for release. Yet, the simple fact that the hero is a 65 year old Rajnikant, does not water down all the hype and over-the-board expectations.
Why should this happen in Tamil Nadu, in particular? Why should there be so much of hype and feverish discussions, gossip, debates and what have you, on the possible story, what the hero does and so on? Already one song is reportedly so popular that every single small child as young as six is mouthing it, almost like a mantra!!!
As a society, we should do away with all this hype and concentrate on solving the more pressing problems.
