Liking a movie star is acceptable but following him/her blindly is unacceptable. Some fans treat them as Lord is stupidity and nothing else.

These are harmless activities and give joy to the fans. If one is not interested he/she may not get involved. But why be paternal in attitude. What problems of the country can fans solve. For that there is an elected government.

This obsession with cinema stars is nothing new. Currently amongst Bollywood fans, the same kind of farce can be seen with respect to oncoming release of Salman's movie Sultan! Timewasters and money wasters, nothng else!

Manoj Kumar Lamba created new topic Government schools result outshine private school in Delhi..
In CBSE board XII th result, the government schools result in Delhi outshine private schools result. If given little more attention to government schools, the private shops of education may shut down. Private schools sells their products in the name education. While it is easy to overlook the headway made by BJP under Modi, one should also keep in mind what was inherited . A scam filled economy, a combined opposition simply opposing everything for the sake of doing so. The intention was to slow down the nation's growth because they had been denied more opportunity to scam..But with all that the manner in which Modi has turned many negatives into positives is commendable. As far as criticism is concerned it is water that flows down..not to be taken seriously!

I always viewed that It is Modi supporters who would ultimately get disillusioned. Many of his supporters expected tom to follow a hawkish line on Kashmir, Indo Pak relation, uniform civil code and what not. Many things were said in election meetings only to hoodwink people but the ruling party leadership has admitted that these were just Jumalas or empty rhetoric. No need to say that the real danger to the ruling alliance comes not from opposition but the mindless supporters/ Bhaktas.

Are we comparing Modi government with a failed Congress party? No, we are seeing the totality of India. As nationalists we want India going forward. This is the issue and Modi has dithered for electoral gains.
You are accepting that congress is failed party, it means India was ruled by a failed party for than 50 years. We must be gave some time to Modi. It is not practical that we hope that Modi meet all his promise that he made with public.
We must be wait for some time.
Anil, you know, the present Government's tenure is 5 years. For the first time in 30 years, the BJP came to power with an absolute majority. This has kindled the hopes of the Nation. But sadly after 2 years of Modi's regime, there were both Hits and Misses. Though there were many aspects which the BJP could fulfill. But there are equally good number of aspects which are awaiting for the fulfillment. Some of the Poll Promises. Some could not.
Hence in this scenario, it's highly essential for a sincere introspection. 2 years out of 5 years already melted away. 2 years is not a small time. Time and Tide will not wait for anybody.Just before our eyes, the remaining 3 years too melt away.
Hence I feel, Modi should hurry up and prove to the electorate of this country that it had really elected a Government which rose up to its expectations. And a Government that really worked for the Nation.
I am agree with you what you write. I think up to some extent Modi proved it that a government is working. Modi ji is doing what he can, but on some points he is also helpless. I think five years in not enough to solve all problems of country and to meet all promise what he made with voters. At present we can satisfied our self that we have an honest and active PM and BJP government is much better than congress.

Why should points be given for reading articles? What do these points bring to the reader? Similarly what about members who wake up in the morning and post 20 + replies in forum and build up a 100+ point lead. That points are accumulated is not the issue but intention is the issue. Then throughout the day they pontificate about Modi and morality.

Such members should be checked and no points should be given to these members who just click on one article and then close it without reading just for points.

@ Sunil, while I agree that ONLY reading the articles for gaining points is not to be encouraged, the same member/s who object now have done the same thing before, in fact used everything else possible to gain points, so it is futile to be judgmental.. However, articles are meant to be read and when more members read it helps the site as well, also since the admin has not made any set rule against reading articles nor restricted the numbers such a thing is bound to happen...

I for one don't see any reason for harboring optimism on this count given to the woe-begone state of affairs of this site.It may have seen its best days! I am yet to figure out as to who runs its affairs, who is its owner and what are his or her motives or objectives and more importantly credentals.Earlier whenever I used to intervene pointing out the soft underbelly of the site a senior would always rush to defend the administration!
The administration possibly has done all and everything to kill interest of members actively demotivating them! My sympathies are with those members whose dedicated and tireless efforts have enabled the owner to taste success of advertisement revenues these days. Very condemnable and deplorable attitude

Our moderator bonuses have been stopped for a long time now and without any kind of notice or word, even then we did not question it but kept working as always. But the indifference and inactivity on admin's part is putting us off.
I wonder why Maverick has not bothered to revive the site because there is a lot of potential in this site and if proper care is taken and some incentives introduced like the article writing competition etc I am sure it will attract a lot more older and newer members as well. As it is there are not many Indian forums that pay for both articles and discussions .
