Kalyani Nandurkar replied to the topic Is it morally right?.
I am not aware of Margaret Alva's book, do share a few more details about whom she has written now.
But I think it is morally wrong to do so, because either you have enjoyed the benefits of the wrongdoings of others then or you have been a silent witness to it, if you felt it was wrong then why kept silent at all? Why speak about it now and create controversies?

'Selfie' should not be blamed. The problem is in people's attitude. They take everything casually and do not use their brain, so the result is for all of us to see.
Exactly...it is the people's obsession with self and the need to keep seeking attention to themselves that makes them oblivious to dangers around them and the risks involved while taking selfies.

vijay created new topic Is it morally right?.
Many bureaucrats and politicians, after having enjoyed power and prestige, while observing some wrongdoings, after retirement write their memoirs and expose their one time benefactors, as is done latest by Margret Alva. Having kept conveniently quite then, is it morally right to expose now?

Youth must be made more responsible for their own actions as well as accountable. It is the empty mind that is the devil's workshop and most youth nowadays are led astray by increasing consumerism, attraction for glamorous lifestyle, Bollywood movies. It is this attraction that makes them think they are heroes of some kind and must have a girlfriend who will come to them submissively when they so much as shake a finger at them. Denial by the girls is taken as an insult to their self-perceived machoism leading to such horrible killings.

Also 'Intentional tort' might also work here.
Thanks for the suggestions, troublemakers fit the bill best. International tort is also a good alternative but not suited to my requirement right now as the book is for young readers. But I have made a note of International Tort in my notebook.

yeah that reporting of every second incident which is done by the police or the legal procedure of any officials is not correct that should be kept in mind for the media and also for the officials who disclose the investigation fully in front of media until the case is running.
And what exactly is meant by that?

I always keep a dictionary at hand to check spellings of which I am not sure. In spite of online spellcheckers, dictionary or thesauruses, I still think referring to a dictionary old fashioned way is the best way to be sure of spellings, grammar and alternative words for each one that we want to use.
Back to topic, even if there is ample production of pulses and grains on our country or scientific methods etc. import-export between countries also enable respective countries to maintain good relationships with each other and maintain healthy outlook. Isolating oneself totally is not prudent in today's globalized economy. But yes, there has to be a proportionate balance between how much is produced and how much is exported or imported.

Not all human beings are alike, they may be able to spread hatred all around but there will always be someone with enough sensitivity and empathy left in their hearts for others in trouble. So is the case with this couple, may their tribe increase!

As the country becomes economically stronger, larger sections of society will become affluent. This will increase opportunities for making money legitimately and bring down corruption levels. Yes it will happen over a longer period of time.

eg. A young farmer in Nagpur, Maharashtra has found an innovative way of pearl farming in fresh waters and is doing it for years in a Naxally-infested region. He did not sit twiddling his thumbs and blaming others for declining rice production which others are facing in that region.

No doubt farming is not easy job. In India farming is depends of rain and it is always uncertain. On other hand some farmers are using new technique of farming and also doing other work which are related with agriculture. Dairy, gardening, farming of vegetables and herbs, production of organic manner and pesticides, these few examples of earning cash with framing.
The most important factor in Indian farming is rain and rain only betray the most sometimes it comes and sometimes it rains so heavily that all the crops are destroyed, so yeah it is very difficult to farm in India unless we use scientific ways of farming.
