There is a big garden. It is very beautiful, Plants and with the full of trees. Somaney deferent birds are there. Those are eating food grains and fruits, Dirking lake water. No burden to those birds. Those are freely with happy flying and playing in the garden. In the evening they go back to their houses.
Different birds make different types of nests. Let us see how some birds make their nests comfortable for their babies.
Birds are most active from February to April. They choose their nesting place with great care, safe from enemies and bad weather. Mynahs, pigeons and sparrows make nests in pigeons and sparrows make nests in windowsills, ledges and in the hollow of roots. The birds use dry grass, leaves, twigs, cotton, thread, wool, feather and straw to make a nest.
Bulbul uses dry grass to build its nest in hedges and bushes. The nest is like a deep cup. This keeps the eggs and baby birds from failing down.
Tailor birds building their nests by sewing 2 or 3 large leaves together. It uses its sharp beak like needle to sew and join the lives with bits of straw or thread. The nest is made cosy with a filling of cotton, wool, soft grass etc. the nest swings gently in the breeze.
The weaver bird weaves its nest out of straw and thin leaves in and out very quickly. The nest hangs down from the branch of a tree is strong and lasting. The entrance is from the lower end.
The wood-pecker uses its sharp beak to peck the trunk of the tree and cut a hole. It keeps cutting deeper and deeper till it reaches a hollow in the tree. The nest is made cosy and warm by lining it with fine chips of food.
Partridge and ducks make their nest in the ground. They dig hollow in the ground and lined with straw and leaves. They make their nests at a place surrounded by bushes or tall grass so that the nest is not easily seen.
Some birds lay their eggs on the ground while others lay eggs in the bushes. A swan lays eggs on a heap of plant materials.
Vultures make big nests on tall trees with sticks. The nest of vulture looks like a shallow cup.
The koel is lazy but a clover bird. It does not build its nest. It lays its eggs in a crow’s nest. The mother crow hatches the eggs as her own and feeds the baby cuckoos along with her own babies as they look quite alike.
Penguins do not work hard to make a nest. Simply it collects stones and pebbles to make a nest on the ground.
