There are lots of stray days found in Bangalore these days. These dogs are found barking and jumping at people who go for their regular morning walk. Again these dogs are found barking and jumping at people who came late in the night at about 11PM. Only people travelling in four wheelers can feel secure as dogs cannot attack them and cause damage to them. Sometimes people enjoying deep sleep after a stressed day are forced to get up in midnight, as a group of street dogs are found barking, howling or playing for hours
Earlier these dogs were found only in residential areas. Thanks to their species getting multiplied, now they are found anywhere, even in main roads, on way to bus stops and in bus stops as well. Sometimes they are found even in railway stations. If things continue at the same pace, dogs may even be found in trains and buses.
There have been tragic incidents in Bangalore, when kids aged between 1 year to 10 years were killed by these dogs. Adding insult to injury, people who are aware of these incidents having read them in newspapers continue to shelter when muncipality authorities come to pick them. They also feed these dogs, but the same people do not take responsibility of the dog by keeping them in their house. To pursue their hobbies, they feed the dog but let it loose to harass others, especially kids.
Agreed that dogs too have a right to live in this world, but then it should not be at the expense of killing kids and harassing others.
