India is beautiful
India is a country, which is, surrounded by three oceans in three sides and Himalaya in the fourth. Our country is, blessed with beautiful landscape and wide-ranged wild life, which attracts a huge number of tourists all over the world. People from all over the world come to our country in search of peace, ancient buildings, famous temples, wild life, beaches, hill resorts and natural beauty.
Wild life is one of the most interesting aspects of their visit to our country along with other places, which offer an excellent opportunity of sight seeing. There are many jungles and forest reserves, which attract tourists including our well-maintained national parks. Some of the places, which are in the 'must visit' lists of the tourists, are as following –
Jungle Safaris in India -This includes all major wildlife parks & national parks in India like Bandhavgarh National Park, Kanha National Park, Giri National Park and Sanctuary, Bandipur National Park, Bharatpur National Park, Kaziranga National Park, Corbett National Park, Periyar National Park, Sariska Tiger Reserve. And many more that would take me a whole book to write their names like the ones situated in Madhya Pradesh, Uttranchal, Bengal and Assam (all seven sister states included).
Tiger Safari - Elephant Safari, Resorts In Kanha Resorts In Panna Resorts In Pench Resorts In Satpura Resorts In Tadoba Resorts In Shivpuri Sanjay Gandhi National Park Resorts In Bandhavgarh and not to forget the Bannerghatta National park of Bangalore. This is not possible to write a detailed description of them all in just one article, therefore I have decided to go for few of them here.
Kaziranga National Park
One of the oldest parks in Assam is Kaziranga National Park, famous for its one horned rhinos and wild buffalo. The wild life is abundant and a keen tourist can spot tigers, rhinos, elephants, pythons and wild-water buffalo. I have not visited this beautiful place for many years but this park has been, declared as a tiger reserve area a few years back under the ‘project tiger’
Kaziranga National park is most suitable to visit during October to April for the best weather conditions and easy availability of animals.
I could not manage a photo of Rhino therefore please look at this lovely creature.
Jim Corbett National park
It is one of the most beautiful jungles of India with amazing wild life and landscape. This jungle is located in Uttranchal where mostly tiger is the main tourist attraction although this is not an easy job to see them as you see them in a zoo. Fortunately, I spotted them every time I visited the place with the help of official guided tour/safari available there. The other highlights of the Jim Corbett Park are Tusker elephants, leopard and a wide range of birds, which are available round the year and coming from other places in different seasons. Here is a tiger for you.
Mostly people visit Corbett National park during February to May as this is supposed to be the best season to have a look of the tiger and the birds, besides the rainy season begins any time after June, which makes it impossible to wander around the jungle.
Sariska National Park
This used to be one of the greatest parks in our country situated in Rajasthan and once was very popular among the animal watchers all over the world. Now only highlights of the place revolve around the crocodiles and blue antelope. The jeep safari is fun as this takes you deep inside the jungle although chances of having a glance of a tiger are almost bleak. What I feel about the place is that authorities concerned must immediately take action to bring back its lost glory. The best season to visit this jungle is January and February. Look at the bird sitting near a water hole.
Bandhvagarh National Park
One of the best protected among the tiger reserves in India; Bandhvagarh is, situated in Madhya Pradesh state where the population of tiger is increasing constantly at a steady rate. The tourists have his best chance to locate a tiger in this reserve due to the quantity of the beautiful animal. The rangers keep a strict vigil on the activities of the tigers without making much interference of course.
Look at this rare white tiger; I am sure you are not afraid of him.
Tourist visiting this wonderful park has a lot on offer right from animals ranging from leopard, wildcat and different snakes of course, which are, found here during summers. The best time to visit this place is from January to April. The park remains closed during July to October for public.
Oh, there are so many beautiful places to visit and so much to describe but as I said one article is not enough to bring them all here, therefore I would bring another one soon that will cover some more beauties, our country has to offer.
