Rainfed cotton being a wide spaced and relatively slow growing crop during its initial stages suffers from severe weed competition and causing substantial reduction in seed cotton yields up to an extent of 69 percent. chemical weed control in cotton, further increases pesticide usage on crop, environment, besides increases in cost of cultivation. Being a wide spaced crop, cotton crop offers an excellant scope for cultural methods of weed management which are eco-friendly. Hence, the present investigation was under taken evaluate the performance of tillage and agronomic methods on weed growth and seed cotton yield in rainfed cotton.
